InvertedHammer: All retrofitted and with different designations.
That's why you don't see them in the open market.
Eg. Do you want the S600 Pullman? They take the S600 Guard and retrofit. The S600 Pullman you will see at the dealership is for display only. When you order, they take a Guard and reconfigure with components not designed by Mercedes like "Pimping my Ride" kind of scenario.
How do you reconfigure an S-Guard? Why you come dey change mouth na? First, you said...
...Bulletproof vehicles and limousines are not made by car companies. There are companies dedicated to these extra services and products. They purchase, modify and resell.
SmartchoicesNG: With Delilah haunting him with facts and proudly displaying the facts.... Ol'boy let him remain and keep his family intact. He's been cool having him here though...same with one crazy character trac who morphed into kingreign although he's still denying it...
ERROR! Trac commands the knowledge of automobiles, while kingreign sounds like a pretty good mechanic/DIY guy. Kingreign himself has also mistaken PapiWata/Jakumo for Trac. Kingreign used to be lomomike.
InvertedHammer: A serious blogger should take out time to understand the area of specialty and not just rely on "copy and paste". It takes away content from the blog.
Bulletproof vehicles and limousines are not made by car companies. There are companies dedicated to these extra services and products. They purchase, modify and resell.
Who told you so? You're accusing someone of the very thing you're doing.
AutoReportNG: I thought this has already been corrected earlier, no need taking us back on this same issue. Pls read the 1st page to see the modified post...
You still haven't corrected your first post and topic.
PaperLace: You call that measly/affordable? May the millions of hungry Nigerians living below $1 a day, find a place in their hearts to forgive you.
They won't even care that it's in comparison to other jets.
This is hope for those who have saved up to $1.8million & thought they had no chance. Then, after they use it & want to sell, the price would fall further down to, say, $300k. You & I can then afford it.
It is made entirely out of carbon fibre epoxy high performance composite material in a newer cost-effective way, unlike traditional manufacturing processes.
With a cruising speed of 345mph (555kph) @ 28000ft (8500m), it has a range of 1000-1200 miles (1600-1900km), capable of carrying five (5) adults & two (2) children.
All these can be had for a measly $2 million, which is impressive, considering a used private jet from Gulfstream or Embraer can sell for $10 to $12 million. There's also provision for customer-inspired bespoke interior.
Mrtesso: Sheet goes down there bro. It's just like trying to explain to someone that some part of east west rroad from Mbiama to ahoada isn't very safe at some times of the DAY...not night. Agbaro to Ughelli is becoming a problem too. Tho that's from 9pm or later. They won't strike daily, but those are soft spots. IF U ply those routes frequently u might be inclined to doubt the veracity of such claims.
I'm in doubt already as I have never seen or heard of a daylight robbery in those parts, although, of course, EVERY road is dangerous at night.
sukkot: well i dont call that owning it. if you get a car to resell it, thats not owning. maybe he should have said I have SOLD over 100 cars. then we can let him slide on that technicality
Please sir, how do you own a car? Was it not registered in his name? Did he not show it off as his, even if it was for a day? If a VIN report is pulled, won't he appear as a previous owner? Must you will your car to your children before you know you have owned it?
EgunMogaji: It's amazing that I've rotated the least of cars through the fleet in my circle of car club associates...
This is why your claim seems unattainable to these simpletons. They see owning a car as an achievement, so they go & buy the most expensive one they can afford, with the hopes of having good resale value when they want to "upgrade".
...I think I'm underestimating how bad things are in Nigeria...
Things aren't so bad amongst car owners. It's that we hardly have true enthusiasts here who see a car to be savoured for what it is & not the image of owning the "reigning" model.
PS: I don't know if he truly has owned up to 100 cars.
Kjnwancaro: There's almost no chance. The woman that drove a strange car home could as well crash in the next apartment with same architecture
This has happened to me, although I went visiting, not my house. I almost entered with confidence, until a strange set of faces greeted me, with confidence.
marafaMadegee: Please house, i have been searching fruitlessly for alfa romeo 147 engine to replace the weak one in my car. Any dealer should please comment or any other advice would be appreciated.
What engine type? Have you scanned? If the engine is really the fault, importation may be your only option as I have never seen an Alfa Romeo live.
Readonee35L: You no get point again. Na meme you they post
It's you who doesn't have a point. How can you mention American muscle cars among performance cars? Do you know the meaning of muscle cars? Power without control is useless and that's where AWD comes in. You still haven't read up why rally cars have AWD.
PS: Professional racers don't swing that booty in bends mostly, that's show off.
Readonee35L: AWD cars tend to launch faster than similarly powered RWD cars because they have more grip available to the driven wheels.
We were talking about track racing, and you quickly changed everything to rally to defend your self. The Gtr is not a rally car and This Infiniti is not a rally car. Don't run from your shadow . A rally car is a small compact car, With I4 engines mostly turbocharged with high pressure fuel pumps. Making them run like they on steroids. Of course the Evo , Impreza and co are doing fine for their league. Ask your self. Why does the Amg spec of the Benz come in Rwd? C63, E63 , cls 63 .
Most cars you mentioned Koenigsegg, Bugatti, E.t.c Are all about getting you to that Top speed quickly. So they have to be offered in Awd for the best traction. Nobody wants to buy an expensive car that takes forever to get to the quarter mile. This cars are all about top speed. But you hardly find their owners using them hard or taking them for a hot spin.
But most performance rides are in Rwd. Giving you that control and able to swing that booty in bends , burnouts, drifts and better drive. Dodge charger , Audi's , mustangs, camaro, Bmw , benz E.t.c have their performance spec in rwd.
A well tuned rwd with good tires and good terrain will out shine a Awd . The Awd might lunch quicker . But the Rwd will catch up with it and leave it in dusts
Readonee35L: Taking the topic elsewhere. Is the Gtr a rally car??
Nope, but the Lancer Evo is, so is the Impreza WRX, and they are AWD. On the track, a properly fine-tuned AWD system will leave you in its dust smoke.
Give you a hint: Models with "GT"in their names Veyrons & Chirons Most Lamborghinis BMW Xdrives MB 4Matics Porsche S (whatever guise) Teslas Most new Ferraris Audi RSs (Quattro) Paganis Koenigseggs Most McLarens Saleens, Hennessys & SSCs.
Readonee35L: Smile. If you're defending the awd based on handling then I don't think you belong to the track. Only edge the Awd has is just better traction and less wheel spin in drag races . When it comes to playing around the field . awd will Sit on the bench and Watch rwd play. Smile. And a Pro driver doesn't need awd, traction control , eps or abs to handle a ride properly.
