Wrong. Every person accused of a crime in the US is entitled to a trial. Courts cannot just pronounce guilt and pass judgement. He received a trial with a jury of 12 different people from all walks of life. Yes he did have a lawyer.

Still cant understand this, because in setting your sentence, the judge particularly raised the point you asked to rather be returned to Nigeria, than rather try to clear your name there.

Then why exactly are you making large purchases with cash? even in Nigeria here it is highly suspicious to buy 6 cars with cash . You need to be more open with exactly what happened

What's about his phone? Could the phone company he is using not present his ping records at the time of the rape to determine his location?

The only place to go now is the appeal court.

Why did he not appeal immediately the verdict and sentence was passed? Why wait 3 years before appealing?

You should be able to retrieve the application as long as you have paid.

And it expires after a year I think, so you have to get the passport in that time frame.

Were you able to get the application ID and reference number? If yes search for NIS portal status query. You should find a page/ section that allows you use your application ID and Ref number to retrieve the application form and receipt etc.

Alternatively check your e-mail inbox (and spam) for an e-mail from nis which should have the application if and reference number for you.

If these options don't work, then send them an e-mail or call or message on FB.

Hello. You can go on the nis immigration page. You should find an email and contact number for enquiries / complaints. You can call or send an e-mail.

Sometimes there is a live chat option, where you can live chat and lay your complaints.

You can also message them on face book.

As per what to do next after paying, print out the receipt, acknowledgement slip and form along with the required documents and head to the passport office of choice for submission.
You don't necessarily need an appointment date to submit.

I got this message few minutes ago. I'm currently not in Naija but I tried to keep my mtn line active due to the fact that it has not been linked and also to avoid it from being blocked. So this evening I was just going through my phone when I noticed an unread message. I opened it to see the details in it were 90% correct. The name of the messanger is different from what truecaller gave me. Without reading the message twice, I knew it was a scammer at work. I've never been scammed and I don't pray I fall victim of any of their tactics. The surprising thing is how accurate the little information about me he gave out in the message.

Please let us all be careful of these scammers.

For now I only one long term bag which is $KYL.
