© (Lilian's story contd) Ochuko walked purposely to his bedroom when they got into his three bedroom luxury apartment, he was eager to get this over with and prepare for the major meeting he had with his father tomorrow, the lady was attractive but he didn't have too much expectations for the night, he had been with a dozen of her type, he did not have the time to become emotionally entangled with women like this,it had been easy convincing her to go home with him from the party,he played this game almost every night the players were just different blurry faces , this one would be like all the rest. he threw his tuxedo on the chair ,unbuttoned his shirt and lay on the bed, he wanted to see what her next move would be he did not even have the strength to pretend to be a good host. "lets get this over with" he thought to himself. Lilian smiled and watched him laying there for a minute, she knew this game very well, He had not spoken more than five words to her through out their journey here, men like this were only interested in getting the night over with and moving on in the morning, but she had other plans she was desperate not to allow this to be a one night stand, she would make sure he did not forget her in a hurry. finally she spoke "aren't you even going to offer me a drink?" he raised his eyebrow and replied nonchalantly " forgive my manners would you like a drink?" she cocked her head at him and proceeded to UnCloth slowly, she released the pins from her hair allowing it to frame her beautiful face , she slowly unzipped her dress and let it fall to the floor revealing her purple underwear all the while staring into his eyes, "yes there it was the bored look was gone" she thought to herself, she took a few steps towards him and he unconsciously raised himself, suddenly she pulled back, "point me towards your bathroom i need to make myself more comfortable" she whispered ochuko pointed to the right like a zombie, this girl's body was amazing. Lilian bent backwards purposely giving him an eyeful of her rear and picked up her bag, they were a few items in there she would need for the night. Ochuko soon became restless, she had been in the bathroom for over 5 minutes and he was suddenly impatient, his body was alive all over he wanted to call out her name but couldn,t remember it and he didn,t want to appear too turned on but he was on fire, as if reading his thoughts she came out of the bathroom stark naked with only a scarf tied round her neck, her body was dripping wet, "wow" ochuko muttered involuntarily she walked towards him slowly and pushed him back on the bed, she began to slowly kiss him all over starting from his neck, to his chest, before she she kissed him on his mouth, ochuko thought he would go mad he grabbed her roughly and pinned her under him tearing his shirt off in his haste as he reached for his trousers she grabbed his belt to stop him and whispered in his ear, "i think i want that drink right now" "now?" he growled, "don't worry relax i will get it myself there is no hurry we have all night" she slid out from under him running her hands through his body as she got up, "can i ask you one question ochuko?" "sure" ochuko muttered she untied the scarf from her neck and reached out to blind fold him "do you like to play?" ochuko smiled once in a while in this game of theirs you meet a lioness and he was convinced he had just brought home a very experienced lioness "oh i like to play girl, i like to play." five minutes later with two glasses of vodka and a bucket of ice Lilian stared at her catch as he reacted to the coldness of the ice cube as she slid it slowly between his lips "before we start i think i should remind you again, my name is Lilian not girl" that was three years ago. Lilian and Ochuko had been together ever since. Lilian realized that being with a powerful man was more intoxicating than just having cash in the bank, on ochuko's arm she had appeared on the front cover of several magazine's, red carpet events, she mixed with the creme de la creme, gone were the days of hustling from one agent to the other to get a modeling job, fashion designers begged her to wear their pieces for free, she had traveled round Europe, America, she was a celebrity. she worked not because she needed to because Ochuko took care of her every need, she worked because it was important to keep her name out there, the hottest couple in Lagos, marrying Ochuko was her ultimate prize, she needed him to commit to her, to make it legal but that was proving difficult, he had not introduced her to his dad in all their three years of dating and insisted that they should not live together for now, he paid for a two bedroom serviced flat for her in maryland and persuaded her to relax, marriage would come when business had been dealt with, but there was always another merger to chair, another project, she didn't mind waiting so much if it weren't for the rumors, the other women, she knew her looks were not going to last forever she needed some kind of security and marriage would be perfect. Soing through the security at his apartment was not a problem she was well known here, she rang the doorbell with her heart in her mouth, staring at the paper she held in her hands she prayed this was just a big misunderstanding, Ochuko would not do this to her. Ochuko swung open the door wearing a large smile "hey angel why didn't you tell me you were coming" he stood there with only a pair of jeans on looking like a sexy a little boy who just saw his favorite toy. Lilian barged into the apartment she would not be side lined by his charms, "what the hell is this!" she screamed flinging the paper at him and looking round ." where is she ochuko, where have you been hiding her" she stormed into his bedroom flinging his wardrobe open and rummaging through his clothes, ochuko picked up the paper and read the headlines, "ah i see, so this is what this is all about" he muttered, "millionaire magnate marries bank executives daughter" he read out loud, laughing as he made his way to the bar "i was just about to pour myself a drink do you want some" he called out. "lilian was furious "how dare you trivialize this issue ?" she screamed coming into the sitting room to meet him pouring himself a glass of whiskey "how dare you.." "enough lilian!" ochuko shouted his brown eyes turning cold, lilian was devastated "so it's true, you married that bitch after three years"lilian felt all the energy drained from her body and fell to the ground. Ochuko shrugged, his features going back to its calm nonchalant way as he stirred his drink and gulped. "what were you expecting Lilian, there was no way my family would ever allow me marry you, adaobi's father is a reliable business partner, the marriage was purposeful for both families." "purposeful?" Lilian repeated tears beginning to run down her face " what about me?" "what about you Lilian, what do you want me to say that i am sorry, listen we have had a great time, i bought you two cars, gave you money, prestige, an apartment one would say i have been generous to you considering" "considering..??" Lilian queried her voice beginning to rise, suddenly ochuko changed, gone were the boyish smiles his eyes hardened and he stared coldly at her as he walked towards her "considering that you are a prostitute, what did you think was going to happen, did you ever think i was going to marry you considering your past, we had a great time and i made you comfortable, you can keep the cars and the apartment, the church wedding is in a months time, the sex was mind blowing lilian but you and i come from different worlds and our time is up, don't make this a difficult situation." Lilian felt her heart break, she suddenly could not breathe. 3 years she had dedicated to this man, allowing him to do whatever he wanted to do with her and all he saw was a prostitute, the drive home was like a trance, walking up to her flat she could barely see, her life was over. she ignored her neighbor as she walked past her she needed relief from this unbearable pain, she opened her door and didn't bother shutting it, she went to her bathroom mirror and stared at herself, her eyes were sunken from crying too much, she opened her wardrobe and saw the pills, they had been prescribed by her doctor when she had horrible menstrual cramps and couldn't sleep, she remembered the doctor telling her to take only one a day as the drugs were very powerful she threw about a dozen in her mouth and swallowed it, her life was over, she had no idea how she could continue without Ochuko, he was all she had known for three years and the shame, all the gossip magazines ,what would they print now about her, it was too much for her, she was beginning to feel drowsy as she felt the drugs effect beginning to hit her, that was when she saw the scissors just laying there as if inviting her, all her life men had treated her worthlessly, perhaps that was all she was, a mistake, she reached out for the scissors and tore her clothes off, she couldn't see clearly anymore , perhaps she needs to end this, she pulled out her hand and tried to look at herself in the mirror everything was blurry now, slowly she raised the scissors and slashed her wrist after the blinding pain all she felt was peace. she was finally free now, Lilian smiled as she slumped to the ground, hitting her head on the sink. |
So i honestly have been on away of sorts from this site, i have been catching up with posts as a guest but i have not been active for years , dunno why. writing is my escape, i love writing but Life has a way of throwing spanner in one's works i have been caught up with so many things i literally pushed it back for a while. so i am excited to be finding my way back to my passion. I read a couple of stories here and i was excited , i had been sharing bits and pieces of my work on my blog but it never occurred to me to share here. so i decided to start doing so. I wrote this serial fiction a couple of years back and used to share it every week on my blog but i didn't end it . i will be sharing it here , its absolutely fictional and i write for adults so please kids under 18 you are not welcome to read this story o. please give me your feedback , This is the first and second part in the series you can read more on my blog. © A tale of four women (Lilian's story) Lilian stared aimlessly as the driver drove past the streets of Lagos into Victoria island, she felt a thundering ache in the pit of her belly , her eyes were watery and she bit her lip not to shed tears, she could not believe that ochuko would do this to her, she was dressed in a short animal print gown with red killer heels, she was a woman on a mission. You see Lilian's story was a peculiar one, she was a 24 year old graduate who thought she had hit the jackpot when she started dating an oil tycoon, being the 5th child in a family of 7 kids she was accustomed to struggling all her life, at the age of 13 her good looks had caused her unimaginable pain as she had been gang raped by two of her cousins, after the terrible ordeal she had rushed painfully into the arms of her mothers bosom , she could never forget the look in her fathers eyes when her mum narrated what had happened to her to him, he looked at her with utmost disgust and spat out in his drunken state "why would you do this to us eh??" she stared disbelievingly as her father continued to rain insults on her, "why did you wear shorts into a boy's room?? did you not know you were inviting trouble?" he continued, "i told you this girl will put us in trouble, you wear short things and parade yourself like a cheap prostitute what do you expect?" "look okorie has promised to get me a supervisor's job at the construction site this month so what do you want me to do?, accuse his boys of rape."her father continued, she was speechless, her mum stood transfixed in shock, after her father was through raining insults her mother took her calmly away, washed her up and gave her pills to drink, that was her first brush with real life. all the innocence died with her that day, she felt nothing when she walked by the streets and her cousins openly winked at her, she felt nothing at age 14 when her maths teacher groped her after classes , he would forcefully push his tobacco stained tongue down her throat and graduated to raping her continually for 3 months, she felt nothing at age 15 when her father called her in to tell her a 30 year old clerk from Port harcourt had indicated he wanted to marry her, there was no talk of her education, the deal was done. she stared up on the ceiling of their cramped two bedroom apartment and thought to herself "perhaps it's all for the best" maybe marriage and kids was the answer for her. Two weeks to her wedding she met Nosa and her life changed, she had been coming back from the tailor's place when this cream colored peugeot car literally cut her off on the road, a tall dark complexioned young man rushed out of the drivers seat and accosted her "what is your problem do you want to kill me??" she screamed. "look i am sorry i just could not help myself, the man explained " i have been watching you walk down the street and you have great talent" Lilian rolled her eyes and kept on walking muttering curses under her breath, "look i am an agent i meant modelling talent here is my card , i just want to talk to you," " modelling" she thought to herself, she was 5ft 11 inches and all her life she had always heard she had model features but that had seemed like a fairytale, she never believed it would ever come to anything , she turned and walked back to him , things had never remained the same for her again. she left and followed Nosa to Lagos the next day without telling anybody, nosa was the one who taught her the other side of sex,she had no idea that the body had so many sensual points, she became intrigued with sex and the pleasures it could give, all her life she had been told she would accomplish nothing now at least she had found some kind of talent. with modeling she began to meet people, she began to understand not to hate her sensuality but to embrace it, she became obsessed with the art of love making, she read books, watched porn, in her mind she felt she had been given a beautiful body for one thing alone to use it to the best of her ability, she began to exercise and learnt all about dressing up,with Nosa as her teacher she learnt the power of attracting the right people to her through dressing, speech and demeanor, she discovered that if she kept a man satisfied in bed he would become ultimately hers forever , she knew nothing else but this and in her heart she made up her mind to learn the best way to attract and keep a man ,that she felt was her true calling in life, soon she got bored with Nosa and began to pick her way up the social ladder through having sexual dalliances with rich powerful men in Lagos. She met Ochuko douglas in her third year in college during a large corporations end of year party, she had been contracted to supply beautiful ladies to serve as hostesses for the party, she knew they were going to be a lot of cameras and rich men at this party so she had dressed to kill, wearing a cream colored short one sleeved gown, with gold colored slippers which matched the pair of gold loops earrings that framed her pretty face she could swear that all eyes turned towards her when she walked into the party hall with two of her girls in tow, her ebony colored skin was well oiled to perfection and her long weave was swept neatly to one side of her face falling down the other side of her dress revealing well toned arms, she scanned the room perfunctorily and her gaze settled on a tall light complexioned man in a black dapper suit surrounded by white foreigners, in her line of business the black man whom white men flocked to was definitely the king of cards and she was right, he was Oghenochuko Douglas CEO of a large Oil servicing company and first son of chief Onaife Douglas the owner of the largest glass manufacturing company in Nigeria. Lilian had hit the jackpot.... |

wow when i saw this story the first thing i thought was is this an fggc owerri girl cos thats what people used to call us, congrats to Nona david though, i have memories of my own cultural shock going to a boarding school the first time, its crazy |
I had no idea that people actually hook up on Nairaland, anyway i guess i am stale. people can meet anywhere, anyhow, if it works or not depends on them. |
stupid baseless topic , obviously you took a thief home and your,e blaming it on looks. you should have been more careful and blame yourself for your lack of judgement in character, |
really i think it all depends on knowing your calling, i had difficulty with maths right from my pry days but flowed with english like second nature. while i was reading law pple wld complain abt cases but i breezed through without putting so much effort, didn't really pull all nighters until my 4th year and still enjoyed my university, Law school was interesting too, but as i said it depends, i love reading but i hate solving puzzles, little clues like this help you 2 find your bearing.Law comes natural 2 me and Maths, i had 2 work for it, so discover urself. |
I just want to clear up one major issue, she did not marry him for his wealth. they met when he was serving and he was driving a blue bird(or whatever they call it) and staying in his brother's 3 bedroom apartment. he is her first love and she refused to let him go when he turned into a monster after he started making small money from clearing and forwarding at the port and carrying chicks. he comes from a wealthy home true, but honestly i did not see the effect of this, his father is quite stingy, maybe he gives him some money but honestly apart from the fact that they live in their own Duplex , the so called money does not show. she just fell stupidly in love(i don't really understand this first love nonsense) but if a man treats you like dirt when you are dating he will not change when you get married. i told her this for several years and to her credit she left him at some point, but later he came back and said he wanted to marry her and he was now a changed person, the poor girl actually believed him. so goes her story i don't want to keep on rationalizing her behaviour, i fully appreciate the blogger who said i should involve the Church. that is what i intend to do. maybe ladies can learn from this, the monster you meet when you are dating will not turn to a saint because you are married. |
@bjcole em i'm trying to see how i can put this without being labeled as rude, but you need to understand the meaning of words before you decide to break it down and criticize when you use the phrase nothing but love and respect in a sentence and in the context of which i used it , it means that the person in question has a great ammount of love and respect for you. it a widely accepted lingua that the Americans use a lot, you may ask your peers for better clarification.it doesn't mean that my boyfriend is poor or anything, ok ![]() |
seriously one of the major issues we have in this country is corruption, how do we tackle corruption when the machinery that put our leaders their in the first place is intrinsically corrupt. the shame going on at the Under 17 world cup is just one of the examples. How do you buy second hand machinery for 8.billion, whilst South Africa buys brand new of that same machinery for 6 Billion. at this point i'm tired of all the talk on the ills of Nigeria, things are not getting any better. what do we do, what is the way out that is what i want to hear. action, action, action. |
it really doesn't concern me either way so, she still looks good though. |
@Victor seriously it has nothing to do with her mouth, i don't want to share some other stuff that goes on in that house but i can assure you that what she tolerates few women even pple that have spent all their life in the village will tolerate that. for instance when he comes back home from work at 5 p.m he orders her to bathe the kids and take them to bed and for her to join them while him and his friends take drinks at the pent house. if that is not the mind of a mad man what is. as for the guy that said i am not her friend, you are entitled to your opinion and just so you know, her family was aware of her predicament before me, i only found all this out recently when she ran away from his house and opened up to me. it is easy for us all to criticize but so many people are influenced by so many things in life to form their character. me for instance evryone knows right from when i was a toddler that I would not tolerate any man for any reason whatsoever hitting me but where two people are married, you have to try and be careful on the kind of advise you give out. i told her not to go back but what can i do, it only makes me feel guilty that not much has been done for her, but what can i do? |
Thanks guys , i guess i will tell her to inform her pastor. perhaps he can help in talking to him. i hope she will be able to open up to her pastor, she has been hiding this abuse for so long. |
first off, fine she is at fault for marrying him in the first place cos we all warned her, he used to beat her up while they were still dating. but does that mean I should turn my back on her. she comes from a very very humble home and her father is dead. her mother(like most nigerian women) feel it's better to stay with her husband than become a single mother, besides she doesn't have job,so how can she take care of her 3 kids. she didn't even tell anyone that he still used to hit her until the issue escalated to the point it has become. I cannot go and drag her out of the house,on what basis, i have no evidence and the police will probably not interfere with the guise that it is a domestic issue. her siblings have warned her to leave him, but where will she go. they are not standing on their own two feet as it is. the last job she had, because he used to come and pick her ealier than the closing time, and he would not allow her work on saturdays they sacked her. she believes that maybe if she gets a job and brings money home to the house, things might get better. for now i can only pray for her, but the situation is unfortunate. i cannot turn my back on a friend, but there is only so much one can do, besides if i become too vocal on the issue people might tell me to mind my business. her husband comes from a very wealthy home, one would have thought as enlightened as they are, they would not be so callous and believe me they will do anything to protect their son's reputation. i heard they have centres that can help abused women, if you guys have their contact, perhaps they can help. |
all this Chris brown and Rihanna story seems like child's play compared to what my friend is going through. she is married with three beautiful children but her husband will not stop hitting her. at this point i think he is crazy, now she has become Anaemic and Hypertensive ,the situation is so bad that her breasts cannot produce milk to breastfeed her barely 2 month old baby. at one point she ran away from the house, and i tried to see if we could get her a job at least to take care of her baby, but her mum convinced her to go back because of the kids. at this point i'm scared for her life. if he doesn't stop she might die. i cannot advise her to leave him and i cannot go to his people for help because she says in his family it is a normal thing, they all hit their wives.at this point i do not know what to do, and she stays far away from me so i cannot be checking up on her regularly. what would you guys do?i feel guilty not doing anything about it. |
interesting view points from some and unfortunate comments from others, but at the end of the day i'm glad this post got some people thinking. hopefully everybody will learn one or two from the mature posts here. especially the post from a guy who said he was very proud of his wife, she had nothing when she met him and now she is very rich but she is still the same person. for some people who say women think like this because they are single and cannot get a man, FYI i am in a very happy relationship wiith a man who has nothing but love and respect for me. i just like 2 share opinions. this life is a journey that we will all enjoy when you find that person that can encourage you to be better in life. don't try and kill anyone's dream because of jealousy, regardless of the sex of a person, anybody can be God's vessel to bless a family. |
@Megadeals true talk jare ![]() |
nawa o some of you are showing your true colours, very interesting. as for the person asking me the experiences i have had to warrant this generalization, you don't need someone with a masters degree in Electrical Engineering to tell you when you have a power problem. for the guy who says it is my attitude that is stopping me from getting married, thank you for your advice given in ignorance, thankfully i don't need it. for the person asking me why Genevieve Nnaji is not married, Omotola and Stella Damascus are happily married and the marriage issues in Hollywood have nothing to do with this topic and everything to do with their lifestyle in Nollywood, (that one is for another topic) at the end of the day i have met some great guys who are not intimidated by anything, and have great women by their sides . together they are achieving wonderful feats. but i have met A LOT of lilly livered men who have turned their wives and children to punching bags out of frustration because they are intimidated of their spouses success, and worse still some men like Bjcole or whatever he calls himself that believe women cannot be equal with men in the work place , and if women are progressing there must be something else that meets the eye. some responses are so ridiculous it's laughable but there is freedom of exprssion abi so write on. |
@Bjcole you are exactly the kind of men this post is referring to, your statements show what kind of person you are. so you dated a rich woman just to fool her huh did you get an award , and what was this post all about (Ask men to be themselves and keep their things in their trousers, and see how many successful women we can count) are you saying that women cannot m ove up the corporate ladder without spreading their legs! iand there are other ways of proving a man is the head of the home than attempting to dominate the woman like a master with his slave. i feel sorry for you, you're the kind of backward person that will not let us move forward as a nation. i know this post is a bit judgemental, that is why i tried to chip in one or two exceptions , but deep down i expected to be proved wrong. good to know they are some guys that are standing at the right path, understanding that relationships are 50/50 and interested in knowing the real person, not intimidated by position or power. for the few who are still thinking like Cave men, wake up and realize that a Bad woman is a bad woman, irrespective of if she has some form of success or not, that hard working, intelligent woman might make the difference when the recession h its you hard. |
Successful is relative to the particular category of persons and couples involved in a relationship and i agree that the idea of being successful to one person might be different to another. the term might be relative but the effect is more or less the same. i agree as i wrote that some women allow their successes and their money get to their heads but i;m not referring to that scenario. take this scenario for instance which is actually a true experience from a friend, two people have been dating from school, the guy is reading a 5yr course, so girlfriend graduates before him.soon after gets a job in a new generation Job, soon after gets promoted buys a car, rents a place ,boyfriend finishes service and gets a job. by that time girlfriend has moved up in her organisation, soon enough boyfriend begins to accuse girlfriend of sleeping around to get promoted, of being ashamed to introduce him to her colleagues(that one i know was not true cos we met them several times). demands to be the one driving her car as it was the Manly thing to do ,at the end of the day the fighting becomes so much that engagement is called off. Scenario 2 equally very very true, couple are born again christians and have been married for 20 sthing years. one is a Lecturer, the other is a Director in an institute. Wife is Brilliant and continues to shine at her Job. eventually is made a professor, given a house by her University amongst other benefits.Husband becomes extremely jealous and accuses her of having an affair with her blood cousin(no eveidence to support this simply because she went to pick him from the airport when he came to naija) packs out of her house. both Scenarios real, both women i know, humble, prayerful and respectful, terms of successful different in both. same effect. my own case is not even relevant,ol boy had his own issues apart from complex and yes, there is nothing wrong with going to your mother for advise, but allowing your mother to dictate the terms of your relationship? abeg grow some balls. |
@cantell you are exactly the Class of men i am talking about. what do you even understand by the term Successful? or are you with the class of Men that believe all women should be house wives. what makes you feel that a woman who makes enough money cannot be taken care of? haven't you heard of splitting the bill 50/50. it's men like you that give your Sex a bad name or did you not read Obama's Biography and understand that at some point earlier in their relationship Michelle was making more money than he was. did it make her Arrogant, bossy or full of herself. haba. |
Afraid,Frightened,Terrified all the same i know exactly what word i used. ok would you rather i used Intimidated is that a better Adjective to use. the meaning is still clear, i had a boyfriend once who was so Intimidated by me after a while that we would have never ending arguments over everything. at the end of the day he ran to mummy for advise and she wrecked everything,I can understand a man's need to dominate (sometimes) and i can even tolerate it and some times appreciate it, but how do you want to do one thing and run to your mummy a woman for advise. Men should understand that when you are a couple , the success of one is the Success of another and not the Castration of another gosh. |
did you not see when i wrote Except for a few, stop writting fibs jare that is what you all say, you guys should stop saying one thing and doing another. you guys can talk the talk but when the chips are down most of you act like your woman's success has affected your balls. |
iI used to think that this view was Myopic, and Educated and Enlightened men don't fall into this category. but over time it sadens me to say Nigerian Men are afraid of Successful Women. (with the exception of a few men), even where they met this women, when they were not successful, once the accolades start coming in, they become paranoid, suffer from complex and at the end of the day lash out. I know some Women don't help matters, flaunting their money and success in front of this men and treating them like second class citizens. but majority of the women i know, friends, peers and family do not have attitude, but are the same down to earth chicks they were before but the changes come from their men and boy friends, and for most the relationships break down.who cares if the woman earns more than you do,it's all about mutual respect and Love abi. for some the men are too afraid to even approach them, the ones that approach them are usually Gold diggers coming to dupe them out of their money and the few good ones that come around, come with the intention of sub duing this women.Know your place and keep your education outside this house, here i am King. the issue makes me curious Men why are you afraid of successful women does it make your balls shrink? na wa o |
nawa o you guys really have strong opinions on the matter. i'll just add that i don't think any human being is born gay it's a choice i don't care what science says. but i won't stone them to death. they are human beings just like you and me. |
i'm serious jare ,please Nairalanders help out a sister abeg, i've already found one or two hotels but i want to expand their options. |
i agree that homosexuality is unnatural but what of the people that commit this acts how do you look at them, do you consider talking to them a taboo that's what i am after here not the act itself. Obama's open support for this homosexuals what does it foretell for America and Liberalism on the whole. are supporters of homosexuality equally comitting this sin as well. |
hi guys, please i need your help. i have some close friends coming back this christmas and they have asked me to help them get information on good and classy hotels or guest houses in Ikoyi, V/Island and Lekki. please share any information you might have , with their addresses and contact emails or phone numbers if you have any. thank you very much guys. |
Nuhu Ribadu should be careful about playing this his heroes song, if not he might draw more attention to his past melodies and raise questions on who wrote his music during the OBJ era, you grab? |
@jodeci let me be quite honest with you, at the rate your brother is going it is better he lives sepeartely from you, if you have a nice boysquarters that would be ideal for him , for now but if you don't try and put your foot down in the house. it is quite obvious he has no respect for you and your wife and his quest to make money fast might lead him into dangerous company. and now that you have little kids involved you need to be conscious of security. you can call them both in and ask what the problem is, he will obviously not have any any tangible escuse to give(if your explanation is a true reflection of the situation), caution him on how to politely talk to your wife and caution your wife softly on raising her voice to him. but try and get him a very good job, maybe if he finds himself occupied he will not get into trouble with your wife. |
@chrisd haba look for someone around you who is bringing bad luck ? oh well @ poster don't fret, days like that will come.it would seem like everything your'e comes crashing down, the first thing to do is not to attempt to fix the problems yourself immediately. take a deep breath ,relax and talk to God for direction, he might be wanting to tell you something, i'm sure you'll receive positive directions from that. keep your head up it's not the end of the world. |
haba isn't that a bit extreme, they are human beings like you and I? just that they have been influenced by who knows what, |
