butterflyl1on:We are talking about its contemporary meaning. The document you posted clearly says it's meaning has changed. You don't want to accept it. To indoctrinate the contemporay sense simply means to brainwash. |
butterflyl1on:This remains your own lies and spin. So when I learn about the human digestive system I am imbued with a usually partisan or sectarian opinion, point of view, or principle, abi? Well done. |
NPComplete:He should carry his mentally ill dishonest brain and go. He knows very well the context used when someone says that people are indoctrinated into their various religions but he dishonestly wants to claim that the Latin origin which means to teach is what it really mean. |
butterflyl1on:Nobody is talking about its Latin source. Even the document you posted says clearly that it's meaning has changed since the 19th century. It's contemporary meaning is what we are talking about not it's Latin origin. |
butterflyl1on:You clearly read where I said the main definition says to brainwash. |
butterflyl1on:Hurry up and leave! If you want to debate honestly then do so. If you want to engage in dishonesty then pack your kaya and get the hell out. Nobody wants your dishonest noise. |
budaatum:He gave a dictionary definition that defines it as brainwash yet he is still shouting to teach. ![]() |
butterflyl1on:But this one defines it as brainwash, so where does that leave you na? |
butterflyl1on:You did not respond to anything. Even the document you posted clearly said that was the OLD definition of indoctrination. It Cleary said that from the 19th century the definition of the word had changed. |
When you begin by dishonestly defining words, then you shouldn't expect anybody to take you seriously. butterflyl1on:To teach what? There is no dictionary anywhere that defines indoctrination only as meaning to teach. Indoctrination does not mean only to teach as you are trying to claim. I will give you a dictionary definition of indoctrination. indoctrination ɪnˌdɒktrɪˈneɪʃ(ə)n/ noun 1. the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. "I would never subject children to religious indoctrination". 2 :to imbue with a usually partisan or sectarian opinion, point of view, or principle. Indoctrination is not a religious thing but indoctrination is found in ALL AREAS OF life including atheism. Just as I started off saying, indoctrination simply means TO TEACHFalse, indoctrination does not mean to teach. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines indoctrination as: "To imbue with a usually partisan or sectarian opinion, point of view, or principle." This is very different as simply saying to teach. |
KingEbukasBlog:I will love to participate in this debate. We can make it a two way thing you and butterflylion against me and JackBizzle. Drop your points I drop mine and the we counter each other's point's. No insult just simple dropping of points and countering of the points dropped. |
Your first points are too simple, but let me follow the debate and see how it goes. |
JackBizzle:He won't take it. He'll prefer some topic that is about evolution or creationism so that he can go and plagiarize from creationist websites . |
India. |

JackBizzle:Of course he knows for a fact that he has been indoctrinated. How else will he have become a christian? Christianity isn't natural. You have to be systematically indoctrinated for it to make sense to you. And it gets worse for him, because christianity isn't a single set of universal belief system. It is various belief systems all hiding and masquerading under the umbrella called christianity. It's not even enough to be indoctrinated into christianity, you'll also have to be indoctrinated into the right sect of christianity. |
butterflyl1on:Most of the world became Christian through conquest. Once christianity became the sole religion of the Roman empire they forced all their subjects to practice the religion. Christianity was forced on most of our ancestors systematically. Seems you are pained that you were indoctrinated and made to accept the religion of the white man as such you want to force others to also feel like you, because they invited a single white man to speak at their convention. The funny part of your religion has its alleged detailed history in its story book called the bible, all over it your ancestry gets NO mention anywhere. The God does not even know anything about your ancestors, it doesn't mention their names, their cities, the type of food they eat, their culture and language or anything that matters to them. But here you are promoting that religion of the ancient Jews. Mumu African. You think you've achieved anything because you've been indoctrinated to accept ancient Jewish mythology and folklore abi? Well done. |
butterflyl1on:You belong to a very divided and confusing religion that has uncountable sects each constantly fighting each other over doctrinal issues yet you are here yapping nonsense. Christians are yet to agree on very basic things about their religion. Even the basic nature of Jesus is YET to be agreed by christians. Is Jesus God himself or a separate and distinct entity from God is yet to be agreed by christians. How salvation is to achieved is still a very big issue and is also yet to be agreed by christians. Confusion everywhere. What about the doctrines of the religion? Na there big wahala dey. It all depends on which sect you belong to because the doctrines are at polar opposites. Most times they diffrence is so much that it qualifies as different religions. But then, all of them always lay claim to this elusive holy spirit as the entity that is giving them inspiration to continue wallowing in their endless confusion and schism. Nothing shows that this is man made like the endless confusion and squabbles amongst the many different sects. Today it is the young earth creationist vs the Old earth creationist, tomorrow it will be the tithers vs the non tithers, day after tomorrow it will be the trinitarians vs the non trinitarians another day it wil be catholics vs non catholics and on and on. Wuna mumu no go ever do seriously. |
butterflyl1on:Your mental illness will never allow you to reason properly. Those going to churches are adults who are already indoctrinated and made to reason along a particular line together with kids that also go to church to get indoctrinated about the particular sect of christianity. It's not as if there is ONLY one sect or one universal christian body that believe in one thing or have a universal doctrine. There are many different beliefs among the christian religion each competiting for superiority and claiming to be the true position among many other competing christian beliefs but that is another topic for another day. Christianity is NOT natural. People are born with an empty mind, before learning everything they will eventually learn over the course of a life time. If a person is born in a place completely isolated from other cultures, would he develop a belief in Christianity, for example? The answer is NO. Christianity doesn't come naturally to anybody at all. Being a Christian or any other religion type belief requires a person to be inserted inside that kind of culture by some way and made to accept and believe it over a period of time by constant and systematically indoctrinating the person. This prove Christianity is made up by men because without men and theit constant indoctrination nobody will be a christian. YOU are a christian ONLY because you were born into the religion and indoctrinated with it. If you were born into a Shia Family in Tehran you'll be a Shia muslims today, If you were born into a Hindu family living in Bangalore in India you'll be a Hindu. If you were born into a Roman Catholic Family in Enugu you'll be a Catholic. The idea that a God who created the universe will require you to read a book or have someone read it for you, so you can learn about the important message of Jesus to be saved is just a completely crazy idea. A real God that exist in reality would find better ways to communicate with men in a clear way and be impossible to be doubted. If Christianityis true then nobody will need to be indoctrinated to believe it's stories. It will be natural to all humans. Everybody will be born with the natural knowledge of christianity, not just christianity but the right sect of christianity because right now it's not even being a christian that matters, many christians will tell you that you need to belong to the right sect of christianity. Example many christian here are very happy to tell the world that the over 1.2 billion catholics are not christians and belong to the wrong sect of christianity. So being a Christian is not even enough. You have to be indoctrinated into the right sect of christianity. Wuna mumu no dey ever do sincerely speaking. |
NPComplete:Obviously not a joke to Ken Ham. |
OLAADEGBU:Shut up! Name the 52 countries that have banned the bible. |
felixomor:Felixmoron! So the bible wasn't invented abi? It came out of your smelly anus abi? Felixomoron. |
felixomor:He called you a dummy and a fraudster. Go and hug the nearest transformer. |
felixomor:He called you a dummy and a fraudster. |
felixomor:Felixmoron! You have shown many times that you have comprehension problems. How does pointing out something equals to me finding it relevant? I simply pointed out that the bible never told anybody to pay money as tithe how that equats to finding it relevant remains your own making. Someone just told you that circumcision according to the bible is unimportant and you were asking him why he is disobeying the injunction. When will you even get sense and start understanding things Mr parody is a music video? |
OLAADEGBU:Google says you are a liar |
OLAADEGBU:The ÒP is a lie. |
Goshen360:You've already pointed out the tithe scam to him but he deliberately doesn't wants to understand what you are saying. There is no where in the bible where people are told to pay money as tithe. It's that simple as you've shown him. |
OLAADEGBU:Stop speaking English. Name the 52 countries that have banned the bible in your lie lie OP. |
OLAADEGBU:Shut up you liar. Name the 52 countries. |
OLAADEGBU:Keep believing in the ideas and mythological narratives of the ancient Jews. |
Creationist Ken Ham calls to end space program because aliens are going to hell anyway "Creationist Ken Ham has said that the U.S. space program is a waste of money because any alien life that scientists found would be damned to hell. “I’m shocked at the countless hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent over the years in the desperate and fruitless search for extraterrestrial life,” Ham wrote in a Sunday column on his Answers in Genesis website. Ham argued that “secularists are desperate to find life in outer space” as a part of their “rebellion against God in a desperate attempt to supposedly prove evolution.” “Life did not evolve but was specially created by God, as Genesis clearly teaches. Christians certainly shouldn’t expect alien life to be cropping up across the universe,” he continued. “Now the Bible doesn’t say whether there is or is not animal or plant life in outer space. I certainly suspect not.” http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/07/2...pmYAg.facebook |
