Finally!!!!!!! Yea.. am the first to post my testimony this new month of march.. Just received a mail now from CIC, I was shaking at first, but when I opened the mail, lo and behold it's my APPROVAL MAIL! I submitted my app Jan.8(paper route, 1st app in history), called for medicals Jan.28, did medicals Feb. 2, approval mail Mar.1. Heading to University of Regina undergraduate studies, computer science. This thread have helped me a lot with the posts and experience shared here and I pray everybody waiting to get their trv too be approved in Jesus name!! #PACKINGTHINGSACTIVATED

Today received a mail that my application has been approved


Please house my class starts September 2016
Can I be able to travel to Canada next month if I wish to?

I would like to know how much one should set aside to successfully complete a Ph.d programme (Accounting) in Canada. An estimate would be just fine.

How easy is it to acquire PR while running a Ph.d program?

Would I be allowed to bring my family along?

Can my spouse work during the period?

Okay. You can do it at force headquarters Alagbon, Ikoyi. From ikeja find your way to obalende. From obalende take a tricycle to alagbon. You will need ur international passport, passport photographs and like 4k. I think that's all. Cheers

Please i will like to ask this concern question.
I have heard and read Canada and US share immigration data information of immigrant applicants.
How do they check this? Does it mean when you details or biometric information is enter into their system, your details in US data pops up or until they do a cross check of your details in US database.
I am asking because i made a mistake in my details in visa application i did to US embassy, i will like to correct it in Canada visa application, but i have scared of any contradictions of information.

Pls house i will appreciate good and experience response to this

TRV Approval: August 4

Just picked up my passport today....

I actually even booked for my flight before getting the visa, just immediately I got called for medicals and I started reading about the delays after medicals....

Our fellow Nigerians are the ones closing the door on genuine students and this really pains.


The rate at which Nigerians with study visa defer admission to January just to work some more is alarming and colleges have called attention of CIC to it.

Personally I fully support the removal of work permit for students while they study if that will lessen their strong stance in issuing study visa.

But I fully support the postgraduate work permit program which I feel should be upheld.
A student that have studied fully has the right to stay back and work to either get experience or make some money.

I studied Architecture in undergrad and currently work as an architect and a construction project manager and I got admitted to a one year course in construction project management at conestoga college. How on earth can you explain a refusal for purpose of visit and proposed length of stay? Even after i attached my portfolio (architectural designs & construction projects) to my application. Dumbas*s Visa officer.

im taking a break to finish my film project (hobby). Would reapply when I'm done
