AN OPEN LETTER TO THE GOVERNOR OF IMO STATE, OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA

Sir, from my heart and that of every good student of the imo state university, i write you this short letter and hope it gets to your honorable desk before the strike get worse and also give you a little knowledge about the pains we are going through as students whom their passions to study are been delayed.
This strike is causing more harm than good to your imo stars... its seriously depleting and withering our burning passion and zeal to get educated by our alma mater

we were very happy when the 2015/2016 session started in November and was going smoothly as planned.
The old students were ready to continue from where they stopped while the new students were eager to join the academic session.
Even when the non-indigens school fees saga came up, the students didn't loose focus.. They kept on studying frantically to make themselves and their parents proud.
our joy shut down uncontrollably the moment we heard about the strike and because nobody expected it to be this long... students stayed back in school even after hearing the news of the strike, especially the year one students who are yet to write their exams, with the hope that the strike won't last,believing in the might and capability of OWELLE NDI IGBO.. But, you choose to murder our hope and trust in you.

This is now approximately six weeks we have been waiting patiently for this indefinite strike and eight weeks since we went on a short break.
Oga governor, abeg listen to the cry of the striking workers, they obviously have families too.
And if truth be told, will lecturers teach their students with profound joy and zeal to instill knowledge when they remember that they have not been paid for the services rendered...

Sir, we beg you, listen to the wailings of the students and their parents as they pray for the strike to end.
we hope to see this lugubrious strike end within a twinkle of an eye. FROM A CONCERNED AND SADDENED HEART

So I decided to share 10 tips on how to become a successful entrepreneur.

1) Entrepreneurs need to work 24/7 during the start up phrase: as a fresher, you need to work all the time to be able to build your business and get a good foundation.

2) An entrepreneur should surround his/herself with good advisors: this simply means an entrepreneur should get good advisors who are also good and successful entrepreneurs.

3) Mistakes and failure are necessary: in a class the best student is the one who has a good result all through but in the business world, it is the other way round.

4) Face your mistakes and learn from it: inside every mistake, their is a gem of wisdom, so don't just get over your mistakes, learn from them too and apply what you learnt wisely.

5) Never despise the days of the little beginning: Dangote didn't become african richest man in a day, he started from somewhere, he had the days of little beginning, so don't think because its a small business now it won't grow tomorrow, you just need time and hard work.

6) Never give up along the way: Donald trump once said if he knew how hard it was going to be to become successful, he might not have started, so don't think the road would be smooth all through, just don't give up along the road.

7) Only lazy men get conned: a hard working entrepreneur will never get conned or scammed. There's no short cut in business, be patient and work towards your success.

Learn from other entrepreneurs: you will never know what you don't know, so if you want to know, learn from those who know it already.

9) Fraudsters are great teachers, just don't become one of them: a successful entrepreneur tends to meet fraudsters along the road, you can avert them the point 7 but make sure you learn from them too on how to avert others in the future.

10) Blaming employees for your failure is the worst sin of all: it takes courage to face people's mistake but never forget that it is your business that will fall and not that of your employees.

Note: world wealthiest people are not employees, they are all entrepreneurs.
