present @ cappo Phlakkeys. still struggling with my bigi belle and doing long troat up and down. doctor says my baby weighs 4kg already at 35 weeks.I dnt have gestational diabetes ohh.I don't believe him sha.even if the baby is 10kg I go born am no shaking. I have been trying to diet but cannot come and kee maself I have to eat so my baby can see food to eat.I eat healthy though.no junk and no fried food I take plenty of fruits too. my phone hasn't stopped ringing as everyone keeps calling to ask if I hav dropped yet. Ema gbami mom as (help me). Is this what they call heartburn?? It's gotten worse these pasts couple of days. Esp after eating I feel there's still something stuck in my throat and no matter the amount of water I drink it remains the same. Its uncomfortable and I've been taking liquid milk too. Antenatal is weeks away. Did anyone experience this and what remedy?

My pregnancy was the roughest to say the least....after a 12 year break....with an EDD of July 26, I was just counting down and could not wait for all the preggie symptoms to disappear!! My hubby and two daughters aged 14 and 12 were my strongest support ever.

I moved to a new country just last week, resumed June 1 and luckily hubby came along to settle.me down. Only for the second jigijigi to occur throughout this pregnancy to take place two nights ago and low and behold, my waters broke and I poured all night.....I was crying all through and hubby blamed himself all night for initiating

Fast forward to yesterday morning, reported to the hospital that had been recommended to me in my new city of abode, and for the scan to reveal that there was little or no amniotic fluid left o....inmediate management was to bring my baby out ASAP...at 33 weeks plus 2 days o.....via CS as they didn't even want to risk a vaginal delivery to avoid trauma or infection to baby. Despite my being a medical doctor, I cried myself silly and have been worried all night about possible complications of delivery at this stage including the possibility of a NICU stay for baby and my fear of CS as my first two were vaginal at 37+ May I advise at this point not to let too much Google mess up our heads.....I read up the good, bad and ugly and was scared silly . I was given steroid shots to aid baby's lungs and also commenced on prophylactic antibiotics and CS scheduled for 1300 hours today. To God be all the glory my people, following start of surgery, baby was our in roughly 3 minutes and yelled his lungs out. On examination by the receiving paediatrician, we were informed he had a fantastic Apgar score of 9, all was good and there was not the slightest indication for NICU stay for even a second....my people.....I was shedding tears on the surgery table of gratitude to God for His mercies indeed last forever

Baby is sleeping peacefully right now, I am still on an adrenaline high and wide awake....what more can I ask for an early 40th birthday present?

Another bumpy tuesday is upon us yaaaay . So this is us at 34 weeks. Oya Team July coman display ur bumps. No dulling as we are almost meeting our los *dancing* and we have vowed to be active till d d-day.

Who are we that God is mindful of us, that He heard us when we call Him?
Jehovah overdo, we say big twale for keeping us this far.

Its certain that some of us will port to this month and we are glad.
We come against any form of loss e.g. life, blood, etc. and pray delivery shall be complication free IJN, Amen.
We pray that whelther we port or wait till our July, mother will be alive, baby alive and father rejoicing with plenty money.

To reduce pre term contraction, take rest, reduce stress, maintain stable emotions, always empty your bladder, always drink plenty water, don't lie on your back, practice polar bear position. God will see us through. We shall be congratulated.

Teamies, its high time we packed our hospital bag so that we won't miss anything out one's contraction start.
To our working mums, I think its high time we submitted our maternity leave request letter.
Also, I hope we are through with our baby's nursery shopping and arrangement, I pray God will provide for all our needs.
To our Yoruba mums, I hope you've shopped for the naming ceremony and thanksgiving dress, shoes, make-up, photography, etc
Please Teamies, try and mention me as soon as you port and post your BA (Birth Announcement) so that we can update the roll call and let's endeavour to post our BS (Birth Story) early even if its a paragraph.

Had to post today so it won't come after some of us port.

I tried to resist the temptation but it was too strong! Finally, I gave myself sense and dropped it in the freezer.

I'm very sure the sense will disappear in the morning when I open my freezer

I am finally in the second trimester, 14w 1day today and want to thank God for making it this far. I have not had any MS or any weird cravings, apart from the on and off pain I get on my left side as I was diagnosed of fibroid , it's been smooth and sometimes I wonder if everything is ok there lol. I pray it continues this way, find out gender next month, already getting impatient
