this is what would have happened in a typical Nigeria setting

33 Nigeria Miners trapped underground and then got sent a capsule down to rescue them one after the other, but the rescue had to be called off as the trapped miners could not agree amongst themselves on who goes first. Zoning was suggested but they could not agree on which zone will go first. Eventually in a struggle to all board at the same time, the capsule was damaged leading to the call off.
In fact the real problem was that FEC (Federal Executive Council) awarded the capsule contract to Eyebrow and we are still awaiting delivery 3 mths later. There is a probe going on to unravel this and retrieve the award sum before we get to the issue of what formula to adopt for the rescue and which miner comes out first. Meanwhile traditional rulers from the Miner's
towns are paying solidarity visits to the President to thank him for his efforts to rescue the miners.
And the First lady has just invited the wives of the Nigeria miners to Abed for dinner at the Hilton! The first ladies from the 36 states will also be in attendance. All including the wives of the miners will wear the Good luck for President An kara.
CNN reported early this morning that after 10mths underground all the 33 Nigeria miners have died and the Nigeria got has declared 7 days of mourning during which the Nigeria flag will be flown at half mast. The event and memorial centre will cost 2 billion naira only.

18k is to small to get a tokunbo laptop. Unless u intend gettin a desktop and ur budget stil wont cover the purchase of a monitor. It is just enuf for the CPU and other accessories.

Thirty miners rescued,

As much as i respect Globacom for what they have done in revolutionising the telecommunications industry am yet to be convinced that this glomessenger of a thing was well thought out. Whoever sold the idea to them did not do a thorough feasibility and viability of the product. I cannot imagine shelling out N10/sms just to send emails and chat messages when i can do same and even more by subscribing to a data plan of 100mb/month which i cannot exhaust despite doing a myriad of things online.

Glo has disappointed me with this product and its pricing.

A friend of mine mistakenly restored my laptop to factory defaults makin me to lose all my files in my documents and music folders. I have a critical file dat i need (my project dissertation) to recover. I have searched the entire system and stil cant recover my project file.
