I greet the great ife Asundergraduates and Aspirant, I appreciate our doggedness n perseverance towards d snail-like admission Process of the great Obafemi Awolowo University, with utmost humility I'll like to speak on d issue on ground.


First of all, I think another thread was created so as not to make our brethrens who r still expecting their list feel inferior, how? If ASGs(dose who v been admitted start) expressing their Joys, sharing testimonies, gisting bout hw we r gonna roll wen we resume those waiting for the list might start feeling bad n dats y v stopped d countdown here.


Again we don't v to be like other schs like my bro were saying earlier, we shdnt be after d number of pages we've gotten rather we shd b more concerned about fulfilling d purpose of this thread which is to help ourselves by sharing relevant informations n as it stands, ion fink anybody has any info abt d 2nd list which I guess is y d thread is moving at a slow pace(even d other thread is slower dan dis one)

Also how many hours is the exam? Also, do they keep to time? Like if d exam is by 8am, will it really be 8am or at least 30mins late?

sure u r to bring ur calculator n ur calculating materials(for dose dat will b doing calculations)
during our time they allowed scientific but to be on a safer side go along with ur scientific n non scientific calculator

I think medicine is over hyped, I mean u can only work in hospitals buh as an engineer u can specialize in various fields

#flashback; as a kid d future was d least tin on my mind(I didnt even knw wat d future meant)so I just lived life like any other kid without thinking bout anything

Growing up, I wanted to b an engineer (didn't knw there were specifications for engineering), funny enuogh if I see a musician performing I'll change my mind to b a musician, if I see footballers play football, I'll want to b a footballer, if I see gangsters in a movie I'll also wanna become one, so dat was d trend, wanna become anything I saw Lol

wen I finished my JSS n was about to enter d SSS class, I had 3 options(Science, Art or Commercial)so I seek advice from my elder sibling n I was cajoled to go to the art class n probably b.com a lawyer(cos I never lost in an argument or debate trust me u cudnt win me in an argument)naive me jumped into d art class
few weeks in d art class I discovered I wasn't happy there so I went into d science class just like magic I fell in love with physics, chemistry n furthermaths but hated biology(I guess dats y I hate medicine too)
I den discovered I had an exceptional love for electricity in physics
just den I discovered there was a course called Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE),
I made up my mind to study EEE, failed at d first attempt buh nw here I am an EEE student to b in OAU


finally m not studying EEE because of pressure from parents or because of anybody buh because Its wat I love

we are showing love n care wen we ourselves are suffering.
About d educational sector, if the government funds d educational sector do u tink ASUU will go on strike?, do u think schools will increase their sch fees C'mon we all knew back in d days education was free so wah bout now, am sure we don't even have a 21st century university in d country.

we are donating $3.5m n our educational sectors are suffering, we av poor roads, varying electricity n many more problems Nigeria us facing, at least dis money could av solved little of our problems
