PhonesRe: Amazon's Kindle Fire Tablet: Ipad And Galaxy Tab's Possible Rival by damola1: 1:02pm On Oct 03, 2011
texazzpete:
Here's a quick tip: Do not be so eager to air your ignorance out in public.

The Amazon kindle fire is nowhere near the 'best 7 inch table in existence'
it lacks a microphone, bluetooth and camera. It has only 8GB and is not expandable. It has no access to the Android market

There are several 7 inch Honeycomb tablets out there with the full google experience and better hardware specs. Not to even mention the imminent Galaxy Tab 7 with a 1.5Ghz dual core processor.

What the Kindle fire has going for it is its price and its access to Amazon's goodies. But as i said earlier, this is nearly useless to Nigerian customers who will not be able to stream music and video from Amazon Prime.

So I ask you again, apart from the price, what other killer features does it have for the Nigerian customer?

Nobody (and I repeat NOBODY!!) is daft enough to call the Kindle Fire an 'iPad Killer'. It probably will help kill several other Android tablets, though, but the iPad will sit very prettily on the top for a while to come.
And I tell you, Price is the #1 most important factor.
PoliticsRe: Delta State Renovates 10 Schools With N933.5m by damola1: 2:18am On Oct 03, 2011
You can spend: N1b to renovate just 1 school, it depends on what you putting up there and maybe even paying for 10 years maintenance and upgrade of such infrastructure,

I think, the key question is, what are they spending money on?, do they have a prototype of their plan that we can see?, what's the long term plan to manage and maintain it?, what's the plan to upgrade the knowledge of the teachers to utilize such infrastructure,

I think you should try the password retrieval again. That's your only option, or you can call their customer service line and they'll do it for you.
TravelRe: Please Help! I Need A Us Visa Appointment Date Asap! by damola1: 8:32pm On Oct 01, 2011
Don't pay anyone for anything please. They do not have any connection with the US embassy, they are basically going to do what you want to do.
TravelRe: Always Request For The Return Of Your Passport by damola1: 11:18pm On Sep 30, 2011
Vicjustice:
^^^This information is idealy in regard to a regular visa application that usually takes a couple of weeks or so to reach decision, it doesn't necessary represent the situation of such "lengthy" visa application as i explained.
I can't see anywhere there, where it's written relative to time. or a ' time ' clause as it's. I think it'll help if you could easily back up your claim with a written fact of time relativity, or maybe highlight a case of where this has happened.

But from what has been written on UKBA website,, you'll have to cancel the application, and forfeit your fee.

It is not wise to give perception of a situation that you know nothing about, please, refer to what Juzme commented and get the facts right.
I am put off by your comment ' a situation that you know nothing about' , , the little I know I have said, now that little got me into trouble earlier cos, I missed a US appointment cos I had my passport at the British embassy, now, as to all things in life, there' always something added, this is the very first time, I am informed about the possibility of getting your passport back, and as always, ' never say never ',
PhonesRe: did you ever read that User manual ? by damola1: 10:18am On Sep 30, 2011
naijasexy:
I would not call that arrogance. that's a bit too harsh! This is no excuse but sometimes people get overly excited about their new appliance/gadget that they just think they can work the thing on their own without consulting their manuals. Often times, they go back to these manuals which they initially ignored when the appliance has developed a problem of some sort. If they are not able to fix the problem at this point they blame it on the manufacturer.

We really need to imbibe a reading culture in Nigeria as most people are seriously lacking in this area and this no-need-to-read-the-manual norm could be attributed to that.
You got it, It's usually out of excitement, not necessarily arrogance, Come on men!, read manual for a new laptop you have been dreaming for months, or a car!!!, na after you done use am for sometime, u fit siddon, at this time, no way!, make we check am out first!

I thought you could be more reasonable than this, but why did you come here to seek advice if you know all too well?
Now, this explains why you imagine that your "Spouse" is fully employed despite all the odds against the claim
Levos2007 is right on that one, you submit your passport, where the visa will be inserted. Sorry he came out wrongly, but it's a known fact. There's no document to process without your international passport.

Congratulations justwise. I am positive you'll make a good impact here. However, I implore you not to jump to conclusions too fast as you have done in the past, the position of a mod requires a bit more sensitivity when deciding, no body is perfect.

Let me tell you my brother, I was frustrated at first oh,  I had to sit someone on the system, 'catching' wasn't easy like we called it,  at all,  after a few days sef, I got tired,  but we noticed a new date came on board every hour,  But then I also commissioned my brother, and was even about to commission someone from yankee to sit on it for me cos one of my friend told me server was in yankee and if I was going to get the date fastest, I have to try from there,  then my bro just called me one night that he got it!!!, my bro dey ikeja with me oh, ,  this was less than 10 days of trying,  I was extremely elated,  this was after boys had told me to go and bring abt 50k,  the morale is that you have got to be pretty patient oh,  even my brother told me, the system threatened him that this was his last chance to book, then he still went ahead,  so, you've got to be consistently persistent,

We need a business man, a successful business man to run Nigeria.

You cannot tell me because my employees are stealing, I won't lock them up and hire new ones, There are many people looking for opportunity not only to feed but to serve this country, If Mr. Johnathan cannot see that he's got the power to hire and fire, and that when a bad employee goes, a good one will most likely take over, then he's in trouble,

This is my home,  Travel Yes, Tech market, yes,  Computers,  Most definitely,

Computers are for those that love computing, and that's me,  I will make this the very best section of NL. Fortunately, anyone and everyone knows computing these days, so working with other reliable members who love computers will also be a priority, bringing details of latest tech innovations in real time,  from computex to Cebit to CES,  live,  and direct, setting up solution solving content materials, managing posts and situations,  I have been using this Section since 2008,  and I believe it'll be a great opportunity to prove that we can give so many other sections a good run for their money,

Oh also, I work online a lot, and can't remember a day without NL, really, it's dat baaaaaaddddddddd
