These lawmakers are idiots. None addressed the issue of extrajudicial killings of unarmed civilians. Buhari should not sign the hopeless bill, there is nothing 'reformed' about it.

Hopeless Saraki and his fellow idiots.

EFCC have an informant. Else How do they even arrest people for $200 when i'm sure the Victim never contacted them.

That's why I think the best way to run yahoo business is to run it solo without any accomplices or 'friends'. Even your friends in the game could be witnesses and snitches used against you.

When police catches you and your friends as suspects, they put you in different cells, then they'll come to you the next day and say 'you better talk true, your friend Don tell us everything', they'll go to your friend and also tell him 'hmm that your friend Don confess o, you better talk true make we know how we go take help you'. It may even be false and your friend is not saying anything. At the end you guys will give up and start singing like canaries. Snitching on each other.

O boy any crime I cannot commit alone without collaborators, I no do.

Politics / Re: To avoid problem, don’t speak Queen’s English to police officers - ACP Abayomi S by DamolaIbrahim: 5:32pm On Apr 17, 2019
Actually, I only use Queen's English to interact with policemen when flagged down. In fact once I get to any legal or illegal checkpoint and they stop me, I greet them and speak in plain English, so they know they are dealing with someone who is educated enough to put them in trouble. They don't give me troubles.

If every car driver speaks pidgin to police, they'll treat all of us like unlearned Danfo drivers, whom they bully Upandan.

I once approached an illegal checkpoint and was flagged down by the policeman, before he could utter a word I said 'Hello officer, I'm an activist and a journalist', the police guy mellowed, and said 'Ah Oga, you can go, Abeg write well oo'. I drove off and bursted into laughter. grin grin

On my way back, the useless police guys don Japa! grin

But will enough oyinbo be allowed to do business in Igbo land and contribute to its development? Why is it easy for igbos to contribute to progress and become part and parcel of every where else, but difficult for everyone else to become part and parcel of Igbo land?
I have heard of igbos discriminating against other igbos in terms of political and civil service appointments

If you are open minded like the Igbos, you can do business, live, buy houses and lead in Igboland, even as a non-Ibo. Yes it is possible. But only the courageous people with an open mind like Ibos can survive and Succeed in Igboland. Get courageous and open minded. Nobody go dash you leadership anywhere, you'll have to EARN IT.

As civilized as Canada is, Kaycee madu still faced racial discrimination (according to article) , yet he powered on and won. Be like Ibos, be courageous and open-minded, then you can get their loyalty, the way the world becomes loyal to Ibo politicians from US to Poland, Italy and Canada and vote them to lead.

Lie Mohammed, we've heard this before.

The hottest news right now is that ICPC is investigating you for fraudulently signing off our 2.5 billion naira to a little known contractor.
You claimed the money will be taken from TSA but instead went to an account where you kept EFCC returned loots (which is always shrouded in secrecy) and took 2.5 billion naira. Na you and moddibo kawu run the package. grin

But can the reverse also happen? Can a Canadian man win the first oyinbo governor in Nigeria, maybe a south eastern state? Why is it easy for oyinbo you accept foreigners into their political space and we on the other hand don't even accept others from the same country not to talk of from another country?

If there are enough Oyinbo in Igboland, doing business, and contributing to development, they'll have the opportunity to lead. I know Ibo very well. They contribute to progress and become part and parcel of anywhere they settle.

Post Buhari, don't u guys want Biafra anymore.....
Or all the noise from the east is all about occupying Aso rock as presidency....
So what happens to IPOB members, will they also receive same treatment if they continue their agitation....

Besides, I remember Biafra agitation gained momentum after your favourite son GEJ lost out of power.....
I don't think there's anything wrong if southwest agitation follow the same pattern.....
It will only depict everything wrong with our current political system- once u lose out at the centre, u feel disenfranchised....
And this will quickly bring about the disintegration of the unitary system we all detest.....

Think outside the box, don't let hatred of a particular ethnic group cloud your sense of pragmatic judgement.....
Forget about Presidency for once, u guys can only occupy it for max 8 years, what happens after that.....
We both have a common enemy- the retrogressive unitary system which is killing Nigeria....

Now that we Yoruba are closest southern region to federal power we should solve the unitary problems. Why have the cry from regionalism died since Osinbande became VP. Even tinubu was pro-regionalism before APC came to power. He was secretly sponsoring pronaco groups and conventions before APC came to power. Why is he now silent that he has the opportunity to change the unitary system. Make una dey deceive una self.

If Yoruba does not get us that regionalism that they've been shouting about for donkey years now that Yoruba has the chance, we should forget it out after this dispensation.

Politics / Re: PDP Plotting Secret Voting To Take Over 9th National Assembly, APC Senators-elec by DamolaIbrahim: 8:59am On Apr 14, 2019
The senators were all voted in by nigerians by secret balloting system therefore the leadership of the National Assembly will be done by secret balloting.

APC simply wants an open balloting system so that they can victimize APC senators and reps who don't fall in line with oshiomhole and Thiefnuubu's shenanigans and the executive arm by sending EFCC after them. They don't trust their own members even after spending billions to organize a fake endorsement convention for Lawan and Gbajamiala where senators and reps were bribed to come give glowing remarks about the two crooks called Lawan and Gbajabiamila.

Nonsense!

Education / Re: Dr Asking Why MED. LAB. Scientists Use Stethoscope For Induction Pics by DamolaIbrahim: 7:43am On Apr 14, 2019
Jman06:
I think it smacks of insecurity for a medical doctor to be bothered about what other medical professionals use or choose to address themselves as.
The stethoscope is just a physiological instrument, and most students of health-related desciplines take courses in human physiology and are exposed to the use of the stethoscopes and other physiological instruments. Even physiology graduate can use a steth provided he knows what it is used for and how it works. That the nigerian medical doctors chose to use the stethoscope as a badge is solely their problem.
Also, the "Dr" title is not an exclusive preserve of nigerian physicians! Anybody can be a doctor in his field so long as he/she meets the academic requirement.
I'm actually ashamed of some of these guys who are getting all worked up about who uses a steth or who bears the "Dr" title, it shows the level of insecurity of the average nigerian medical doctor, and to me, it exposes how lazy some of them are because the medical profession is large enough for any serious person to carve himself a niche and not go about lamenting what other people do within the legal confines of their professions.

Best response.... I was thoroughly educated.
