Hey guys, this thing just came to my mind. Do u really think that every body in love is really blind? |
There are several ways of breaking up a relationship. It all depend on how you both can curtail it. I had a friend who because of religions difference could not marry his girl friend, he loves her soo much. He called her on his birthday, after the party she organised for him was over, he choose the venue, date and time to tell her how much he loves her and how difficult it is for them to get married. she felt bad initially and later come to terms with it and they are leaving by it. He will soon be married to his new girl. she is aware and supporting him to actualise his dream. So it all depend on individuals. But I advise us to frank with seperation and be steadfast. |
Very often, we tend to compare reality with imagination. How can one imaging that romance can go without finance. Haba, lets be reasonable for a while. If a man want to be romantic, you may wish to take your babe or wife out for ice cream, snacks or a ride round town, how do you do all these without finance? Do you think a lady will look at you as romantic if you can't buy her panties, bra, shirt or shower her with gift, no matter how small it is? I don't think romance can go without finance. Take a look at it logically, have you ever seen a very poor man hugging his wife? Have you ever seen him taking her out for ice cream or buy her card on her birhtday? ever seen him holding hands with her? As a romantic man I should be able to take my babe for a horse ride, picknics, parties and swimming. How do I do these if I don't have the finance(however small). One must not be rich but average to be romantic. This is a fact. take it or you leave it. Just this week- end my girl friend asked my opinion about this topic and I told her thesame. She felt iam very romantic because I call her up every two hours to hear from her, I call her at night before she sleep to tell her I love her and to wish her goodnight and sweet dreams. How do you do all thes sweet things if you are not balance? She call call it quit with my competitor because 'he's not romantic'. I gain entrance to her heart just because 'I am always there for her'. Come over this, please, romance can't hold without finance. |
The issues betwen the NASS and El-Rufai is a non issue as far as iam concerned. Take it or u leave it, to restructure this grate country, we must start from somewere. The Hon. minister is doing a good job in FCT. Even his critics are begining to complement him in the hidden. This figth is personal because these group of people felt they own houses and shop were he is demolishing. It is a fact that me and u (commoners) can not own a centimetre of land in Fct. They acquired this land by fraud, build it with fraud and want to sustain it by fraud. By the special grace of Allah their plans will not see the day light. To succed in this plan, they have begin to treathen Mr president with impeachment. The man self no care for them because he is use to thios style and plan it wont work InshaAllah. It is high time our leaders begin to work for the interest of the poor masses who voted them inn against all odds. Thre is poverty in the land, educational satandard id falling, hungry is killing people dailyand so many things happening to our lives. PLEASE STOP FIGTHING THE MINISTER OF FCT. |
Haba, why on earth shld ur friend complain for cooking for her boyfriend. dont u think u are blowing this thing out of proportion? There are alot of formula to use. she can go over to his house for the weekend, take her time and do proper shooping, cook different kind of his food, put in a freezer, when he comes back home he will definately heat and take his food. May i asked: Is he always calling on her to come and cook for him when he is back from work? How close is there place of residence? Did she actuaaly love him? How come a cultured Nigerian gal is nown afraid to cook? Dont give me the imperation that ur friend is a lazy nigerian gal. |
This is one of the most unimaginable comparison. Rita could be pass for one who is okay by African standard. Pls wake up from ur slumber. What will you do to your fiancee who left for 9 month & reappeared? I once had a girlfriend. We met in one of the Northern schools. We were in the same level and same department. Same religion, but different tribe. She is from "Awolowos", and I am from "Sardaunas". We dated for two years while in school. After graduation, we dated for 3 months and I asked to marry her. After few months, she left me for 9 months and later re-appeared to asked for my forgiveness. I love her so much, but I gave her a condition to fufil before I forgive her: that she must tell me why she left. That was 3 years ago. She has refused to tell me her reasons yet she said I must marry her. The point here is that I am commited to a serious affairs which will comulate into marriage months from now. If you are the one what do you do? |
![]() Hi Trish, Your topic above is very challenging and one of the best I have come across. That is why I am finding time to reply you. To discuss this topic evenly, one must put into consideration the following:
[li]Social status of the family.[/li] [li]Financial status of the family.[/li] [li]Time of marriage.[/li] [li]Educational level.[/li]
The social status of the family is an important issue to be considered. In a contemporary Nigeria where women are looked at as a tool to keeping the house and taking care of the children (rearing children), no man can consider his wife or wives worthy of sharing the same account. It is truism that our culture has place no much respect to the issue of woman contributing to the family. In the 1st place, why do you own a joint account? This is to enable families to spend their monies rightly and prudently in order to train the children, eat well, cloth well, have a good shelter and above all save for future occurences. Who then takes the decision of how these money is to be spent? The Nigerian man would definately want to rule it out. This is because the wife is only a tool. One may begin to think that the writer is woman, no, I am a man and a strong one of that matter. Before a family can think on owning a joint account, the financial status of the family is a strong factor to determine that. For instance, if the income of the family is not up to the required expenditure of the family, can they own a joint account? The issue of joint account will not come up in such a family. It is because some families are financially bouyant that they can even think of ownoing a joint acct. Time of Marriage: Trish, you may agree with me that marriage thar took place within the the 60s and early 70s can not discuss the issues of joint account. Do not get me wrong. I agree some has but then the awareness was not as it is today. I am referring here to Nigerian families. Education Level: With education comes civility and the passion to strive in the word finds its way into our heart. The level of one's education matters also in this case. People with little or no education at all give no importance to this kind of issues. I am not saying or against but trying to caution to look critically into the above mentioned reasons before taking a point or stance. I am of the opinion that husband and wife should share same account nos, prudentlyand jointly take decision on how to spend the monies without resulting to dispute. |
