Going abroad is not all about poverty or seeking greener Pasteur. When Columbus left Europe to "discover" America, Venice, Florence, Rome, Paris, London, Lisbon, Madrid and others were thriving. He could have lived in any of them comfortably.

If Nigeria were like Singapore today, Nigerians would still travel.

Sadly, 9ja does not work on logic. Not in a country where judges are openly given SUVs and mansions as ruling party largesse, instead of being a constitutional package linked to their role and managed independently.

ADC must have got rumours that the court judgement will be rigged. But sure, legal matters should not run on rumours or sentiments in an ideal world. But 9ja is not ideal.

ADC might just have been played like amateurs.

Any investment that cannot let you recoup initial investment (adjusted for inflation) in about 15 years is not worth it.
