DonEd: In actual sense, if sex is transactional, why would a man go further in ensuring the woman's comfort by renting and furnishing an apartment for her? Why can't the woman rent her own place and claim independent?
U people should be using the right contexts in describing situations. You and johnbuck81 get time o. That something tolotolo woman is telling you what ladies won't admit face-to-face. It is the fact that these women easily juggle 5 to 10 men at any one time. That no matter how much you think you provide for a lady, you are only a shareholder. Even a large number of husbands are minority shareholders in their wives, never mind common boyfriend, wey be mega minority shareholder. That's the bitter truth. Men need to wake up. Oh, every guy should do DNA test on their kids. Unless they are happy to run an orphanage in their own household. |

Life is simple, let's stop making it difficult. Sadly, some take you for a fool when you keep helping. Helping and stopping to help when you are being taken for a ride makes you an enemy. Seen it. Don't create dependence. Others will say "empower" those who beg you for money, how do you empower those who are not ready to put in the work needed to succeed? We are all happy to help, but how long can you keep helping entitlement mentality people? |

Hope it stops b4 it escalates into an intercontinental war My brother, by the time this saga ends, Ukraine will have little population left. many girls will seek ever more foreign men to marry and leave. Many of the remaining young men will seek work abroad. Only wounded soldiers will remain. The longer this war takes, the less likely it is that those who fled abroad years ago will return. They will have built new lives abroad. It's a total mess. Western European countries are in political crisis, from Germany to France to UK. Their economies are not any better. Their leaders can't afford the political risk of sending soldiers to fight Russia. They will lose the next election woto woto. |

SixSeven: Process, process, process. Remember how the President wanted to insist that his ADC be promoted even when they told him how this could affect the military. Remember when they told him that Egbetokun's stay means some people will not be promoted? Our leaders prefer people over institutions. Strong men, weak institutions. He didn't know he needed their expertise and experience before he appointed someone else? This is where you have to give it to Baba Iyabo who hunted for the best heads. There will always be politics but Mr Tinubu prefers loyalty, like his predecessor, Buhari. This decision looks like an afterthought and the Presidency is not the type that should not know how to tidy things By the time they are done, Nigeria's appointment process will have changed so much eh My brother, we never serious to move forward. Strong institutions build nations. Strong institutions prevent corruption and hold everyone accountable. They deliberately weaken institutions so that they can play ludo with them. |
Politics › Re: 2027: I Regret Forming APC And Removing Jonathan — Atiku Abubakar by Dancebreaker: 1:36pm On Feb 27 |
seunjungle1: It is too late sir! I use to tell people since from that time that the day Alh Atiku politically shot himself dead was the day he agreed with the coalition to remove President Jonathan. Why I said so?
It was a huge political miscalculation or blunder on him. Atiku should have just rally round Jonathan with all his might and make sure Jonathan secure his second term...this alone could have paved a kind of robust political liberation for him.
It would have earned him more respect from the south. It would have reposition his stand in the PDP. This would have also give him a chance to stand as a consensus PDP candidate because of the wait he threw behind Jonathan second term reelection if had done so.
Atiku is gone politically! Nah! Atiku has always lacked patience and strategy. Also, he's a retired customs officer, paramilitary, not military. Those paramilitary believe more in money than strategy by mentality. Even in his first term as VP, under OBJ, he was ganging up to remove OBJ after 4 years. OBJ had to deploy his military acumen and natural cunning to secure second term. OBJ never forgave and will never forgive Atiku. He had the chance to be patient and have a shot at the presidency after 8 years as VP. But he blew it. Remember, OBJ had the option to pick Umaru Yar'Adua in 1999, but chose Atiku. He only picked Atiku as the leader of PDM that Gen. Musa Yar'Adua left behind. |

I thought DNA testing was supposed to be a standard procedure for peace of mind, so why the heavy backlash? If there's nothing to hide, the 'mob' shouldn't be this triggered by a simple request for accountability. She's like Phew! Close call. If not, why celebrate? The test should be standard before issuing a child's birth cert. If I be the man, I will do another coded test. 9ja too corrupt. |

promami: He's been asking for help since and I didn't have the means. I have the means now. He doesn't have any choice. Anything I set up for him, I trust him to manage it very well. You are a good man, dude. However, don't assume your friend has no choice. You see, your friend may be humble, but many people are humble when they need help. In reality he might be a very proud person inside. He might feel "treated like a child" if you just go ahead and set up a business, which he might feel is beneath him. A few months later, it might collapse. You may hear "it wasn't the business of my choice anyways." I have been there, and it feels bad to see your good and sincere effort basically rubbished. Find out what he's passionate about, affordable and has a decent profit margin. Ask him to understudy someone who is successful in the business. Even if for a few weeks or months. If he refuses or feels too big to understudy, forget about any help. Every business requires certain skills and attitudes to be successful, no matter how simple it looks. |

Sonnobax15: . The way you guys do colorize this Delta state en . Someone who hasn't been here before would be thinking this place is like heaven on earth . Whereas the rate of societal decadence that has befallen us might take decades to be repaired. The fact is that the last two generations before her were/are not better. The parents/grandparents age groups instituted corruption, paid and received bribes, took their kids to magic exam centres, collect bribe at road blocks and in their offices/workplaces. The children were/are watching. Add that to the way older generations worship materialism, hail yahoo boys and flock around corrupt politicians. GenZ kids have not had good moral role models. The decay didn't happen over night. They learned from previous generation. Fact. |

Romance › Re: If You’re Sure He’s The Father, Why Fear The Test? by Dancebreaker: 6:33pm On Feb 16 |
Gbadugbakun: Do you even need to tell her. DNA can be done with a strand of hair from the child or saliva or anything belonging to the child. Just take whatever you need from the child and do it secretly without her knowledge. If the child is yours you would lock up. If the child isn't yours you can confront her with the results. Telling your wife you want a DNA test is childish and dramatic, because 99% of women would play the victim card with that request. In many countries, it's illegal to do it without the mother's consent. Yep. They have totally emasculated men. If you do it and it's negative and you get caught, the gist will now be about your crime, not the woman's fvckabout. But only a capital MUMU will trust any woman when it comes to paternity matter. The test is more important than elaborate wedding. It must be done. Unless the man is happy with his household being an orphanage home. |
