jaybiz007: Its okay. Life in Auburn is as soft as it could get. It all depends on your lifestyle and social inclinations. Pertaining to financial aid, there are some on-campus employment that you could clinch. Your academic strength can also open doors for you as intelligence and diligence is highly appreciated here.
On a lighter note, pack as many quality jeans as you can afford unless you plan to wear bum shorts because that's the only cheap variety of jean available. jaybiz007: Its okay. You think you will see ppl to read it for you? You wait tire, though you might b lucky. Things to do: get diff samples online, choose the one that has good presentation to you, that will give you idea about what to write in each paragraph. Write yours, go and rest, come back after your head has boot, you will see new errors and you should have new ideas to fix in the write up. Write and leave again, you will see another errors, correct and fix in new ideas. The more you leave it and come back to it, the stronger your SOP write up. This should take 2-3days. Finally check for grammars using online grammar checker(naijas have this weakness, even if you know how to blow vocabulary). Use four or five grammar checker, they check punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Then here you go...... Submit! Damilare5882: So sad I haven't gotten anyone to help me proof read my SOP.... The ones that offered are not even replying their pms... I just feel so bad right now |

Thanks for replying, do you suggest i defer my application to fall 2018? Considering wes application and i20. I have submitted my application before i found out. gokuu: Well, we must all take risks.
Typically, programs - especially competitive ones - do not evaluate (review) applications until they have all the required data points. As you know, your application will not only be weighed WRT the minimum standards for the program, but will also be compared to other candidates especially when considering whom to fund. |

Help: Auburn Grad School: As a policy, we do not consider any applicant until we have reviewed all the documentation. Official GRE and TOEFL (for international applicants) scores and transcripts are required by the Graduate School and should be sent directly to them.....
Pls who can help on this? Do they mean they wont review my application at all unless i submit official TOEFL and School transcript.
I dey fear to put in lot of money for this and get a rejection. |

EZEIGBO1OFIMO: this your friend (or you) is a very funny human being aswear, your friend (or you) has not even landed a decent school, and is already thinking of all the freshly minted dollars from his citi checking account . Well, your friend(or you) would most likely not be admitted into a graduate education program, at a reputable university, because your friend(or you) does not have the required prerequisite bachelor credit units, and our Nigerian PGDE isn't considered at all in the admission process. My advice is that your friend( or you) should continue along the part of biochemistry and look towards a funded MSc. First as usual, you friend(or you) is encouraged to write the GRE and ace it, then get very strong recommendation letters and an awesome SOP. (your friend (or you) should check out the GRE thread in the education section). Finally; your friend(or you) should do away with the Nigerian spirit of "Money is the koko", strive to put in excellence in your endeavors, anything worth doing is worth doing well; also learn some programming and statistics, Biochemistry+tech = money minting machine EZEIGBO1OFIMO: this your friend (or you) is a very funny human being aswear, your friend (or you) has not even landed a decent school, and is already thinking of all the freshly minted dollars from his citi checking account .
