Honestly, I feel this issue has become glaring to every Igbo in the north. Nobody is saying you shouldn't invest in the north but invest wisely. Nice piece. What scares me most is the hatred between the Igbo and Yoruba on Nairaland, what's is the origin of such hatred, disaffection and detestation?

Do not spend your time on a futile exercise looking for whom to blow whistle on, rather spend your time and energy on a productive venture. Build your trust and integrity level.

This is disheartening, but then we may not blame the government because that may be a "committed" land.
Be careful how you spend your life's saving on acquiring a land. Ensure you carry out thorough investigation with your surveyor and lawyer, it may cost you more but in the end you'll find rest.
