Business › Re: The Customer Service Name And Shame Thread by Dangello(m): 2:11pm On Aug 23, 2011 |
Vavavoom: Bad Customer Service: There's a lady petrol attendant at Oando, before Bewac Junction Trans Amadi who's in the habit of exploting unsuspecting customers while filling up their tank. Maybe other experience abound, but what I have experienced once and correlated by another buyer is the sleight of hand shortchange pulled off by the attendant. Please when buying pms make sure the read-out metre is on the same side as the hose delivering to your tank. The lady carried over a previous service charge from an okada man and continued therefrom as part of my tank-fill up charge Omo, no do no do 4,500 Naira don enter for tank wey 3750 dey normally full and e neva full, guy man get to shine eyes call station manager for amicable resolution
So make sure to shine your eyez when buying and don't get distracted by small talk around the pump especially when na your turn - FOCUS! Talking about dubious fuel attendants: CONOIL on Lagos Abeokuta expressway, by Ikeja Bus-stop, close to the route that leads to the airport. Almost all the attendants there are dubious beings. U go there and tell them you want to purchase a particular amount and all of a sudden they sell N300 worth claiming that they thought thats what they heard.(the initial N300 worth was just a fluke) and then they sell the difference. Both genders are guilty of these and it has become a norm in that particular gas station. |

ACCESS BANK. They make you feel comfortable from the door. Very courteous Security man opens the door, U meet with an equally polite Protocol officer in the banking hall. The customer service personnel is also superb.
I have been to Ilupeju branch, Apapa branch, Point road(also in Apapa). I concluded from the services of these banks that they are well trained. |
Politics › Re: Nigerian Police Harassment @ Jibowu Railway Track by Dangello(m): 1:29pm On Aug 19, 2011 |
lond07: oohunt,
Where there is no law, there is no crime.
Did you observe if there was any road sign making it UNLAWFUL if you stayed on the track like the yellow line marking as OFF SIDE?
If there were none, then tell me what law have you contravened!!!
If it were simply the 'conscious' awareness for the safety and the authorities concenrned have not provided a barier or at worst a road sign, then who should have been liable?
Even in the US/UK, there is no rail crossing without a barier/road sign. so do not compare these places to Nigeria. I live in the UK and know pretty well what applies here. You have simply fell into the booty trap of the NP who take delight in extorting you.
I was once stopped by the police while making a u-turn under National Stadium bridge (coming from oju elegba). The policeman argued that I was not supposed to turn mean while there was no road sign.
After a long argument/counter argumnet, his boss intervened and allowed me to go . Of course never paid a kobo. I was dead determined to report them and escalate the issue to every quarters and to the press.
Next time nknow your right abnd make good defence Well said LOND, Inasmuch as the poster was wrong by stopping on the railway track, the police men must have been stationed there to GUIDE and not ARREST motorists. I am not sure that there is any road sign there. The barriers (though not existent at that spot) is not really needed for this discussion as there was no train movement at that time. |

Koolking: Insipid news!
I have no doubt the two (Gov Junior and Colonel) had a confrontation, but I doubted the way the news was reported. The reporter did not tell us exactly what happened.
I doubt if the Gov jnr just walked into a Supermart and ordered people out and claimed 'na just me'. Haba! is he god? or anti fellow human? Something must have prompted their confrontation. That's the part i want to hear otherwise, this is another Nollywood new released Part 1. U need to see what some Governor's son did in the past (while there dad was the governor) to know that this is no Nollywood new release. At a point, it became a way of life for them |

favouredjb: Well he didn't get his own Msc frm naija, get your facts right Even if he got it in Naija, it doesnt matter. He is just passing the info, its not compulsory that you should like it. afam4eva: It's unfortunate that Nigerians don't think like the rest of the world. In Nigeria if you don't have a BSC you're considered a failure even when you're doing better than the BSC holders. See this guy bragging with his MSC yet he's doing something totally unconnected with it. How does the rest of the world think? What is wrong in having an MSC, but doing something that is unconnected with it but pays off If you do your findings, you will discover that in people in the rest of the world that have PHD's are in jobs that are absolutely unconnected to there course of study. tollu: ^^^
