I don't use either of the two but 9s should be ideal if your not into the camera aspect. Both device are basically the same except for the camera.

mehn.... Mine flickers with or without dark mode, its just more pronounced on the dark mode stuff, and the new update didn't fix that bug either.

Force restart your phone (hold power button for 10 secs) 2 to 3 times. This could help. My device is now very much okay and this was exactly how I rectified the issue.

Yes, it was or maybe because I wasn't using the dark mode. I only noticed it the moment I decided to have a feel of the dark mode feature on MIUI 12

I first noticed it on my mi music player in dark mode a few days ago, now it seems like it's everywhere, probably hardware..... It's not pronounced, normally you'd have to look really closely to see it, but a person like me, easily notices it all the time, even right now as I type, and whole thing is just slightly upsetting now.

I am also experiencing this and that was after updating to MIUI 12 and decided to try out the dark mode fearure. It's very annoying because you'll get the feeling that your screen has developed fault
I've already turned off the dark mode and everything seems fine.

It's not really that noticeable not until you look closely so I get why some people won't notice. Turn off dark mode, that should fix it for the meantime till xiaomi release a subsequent update.

Good morning all. Pls I've tried all the networks to update my Redmi note 8 to the latest update but to no avail. The last time I updated, it was only possible with school WiFi. Now I wanna ask two questions.

1. I don't have problem with the phone anyway, so am ready to wait till school resume b4 updating the phone, but won't there be any problem if I only tried to update the phone after several updates have been released?

2. I could have tried a friend's phone WiFi, maybe it'll work, but where I am presently I don't have my friends around me. But I still wanna ask that if am able to get someone to share his network with me through his phone WiFi, can it work?

Those are my questions, In case someone has experienced this before. Although someone advised me to update manually but am reluctant cos I don't have any experience with phone tweaking.

Update manually, it's as simple as ABC. Follow Mr Genius guide from few pages back and you'll be safe.

My battery life has not been the same since I used one Samsung 9V Fast Charger like that.. Yes I don't know if its original or fake but it gave me up to 2.5A

Use it for a month, yh my fone was charging extremely fast, but I noticed my battery life was dropping daily.. Till I just stopped using it and went back to my standard 5V/2A charger

But since then my battery life hasn't gone back to normal and now it's getting worse and worse

I'm not trying to discourage anybody from using a super fast mega speed charger ohh.. But for me, m done with that.. Never again

It takes like 30mins to drop from 100% to 90%, and if I just unplug it and don't use it for a few hours, that 100% go use im hand dey drop small small

Phone's fully charged so I wont have a reason to charge. Its resting in a full bag of rice right now.

That's the best method unless you want a completely dead phone on your hands very quickly. If you can get a technician to open the phone and then air dry it, it'll be quicker.

Phone is redmi note 7 and I doubt there's good technicians here that can handle it. Na to follow through with the uncooked rice method

Mistakes People always make. Don't try to use your phone. Turn it off and try to get the water out.

Put it inside uncooked Rice for some days or take it to a technician to open up and clean & dry the phone.

Seems i dont have much option here. Will do that ASAP and make due with my other phone.

My redmi note 7 speaker suddenly began cracking like it's broken. I can't remember the phone slipping from my fingers.

The speaker isn't really good again like it used to be. Is there any solution to this? I'd gladly appreciate a response.
