In fact the society is now becoming more sympathetic to the women than the men today. We blame the men for everything and anything. When he rapes, he deserves to be castrated. If he is raped, he is an slowpoke. When he beats his wife, he is a beast, he should rot in jail. But if his wife stabs him to death, he is the cause, he is a coward, he is a serial womanizer and a pathological liar. There are now many charity organisations supporting women everywhere while men are left to cater for themselves. Now tell me, are we not human? Why won't we be heartless?

You don't need 20 plates in your house, you're not a restaurant. You don't need 10 pots. Keep them minimal and save yourself unecessary maintenance and workload.

When the few get old or outdated, dispose all and get new sets. There are clothes you no longer need. Don't keep 10 bedsheets. This is how to run a home. The more empty spaces you have, the lower your stress level.

The bible is presented to us as the word of God but you also need to understand how to start looking at it as the word of God flowing out from different writers with different personalities. Solomon's advice in the book of Proverbs should not be examined out of context. God used him to warn many who are addicted to drinking alcohol. There are parts of his writings where he would encourage us to drink our favourite wine and go out with the best women we choose because life is short. Paul in the new testerment made reference to drinking alcohol as a remedy to health issue. In other books in the new testerment the same God used prophets like Moses to pass messages to the people about alcohol.

@OP The bible is from and of God but you need to get to the level where you start seeing the bible as a flow of God's pure expression to human spiced up by the personal experience and the personality of the writer. This one of the reasons we have it as compilation of books. Ask yourself why God instructed Samson not to taste alcohol from birth but King David never received such instruction from God. Why did God instruct Hoses to marry prostitute but didn't instruct Samson, Elijah, Moses to do so. All prophets have personal encounter with God and God deals with you according to his covenant with you.

Good morning Nairaland. I have been pondering on this issue for a very long time. It is a common belief by Christians and Muslims that when human die, they go to either hell or heaven to spend their afterlife. Some doctrines even say their soul/spirit goes to purgatory first before moving to hell or heaven. Jehovah witnesses on the other hand believe that once we die, that is all. The body decays and the spirit goes to rest till the day of ressurection for the hope of kingdom of God.

My chief concern here is not about the doctrines but on aspects that I think are not well covered by religion. Where do animals go to when they die? Do they reincanate? Do some also go to hell while others go to heaven? Or will the good animals also ressuracte on the judgement day?

Don't forget that the animal kingdom is closely related to the human kingdom. The have life, they recreate, they communicate and they also hustle to survive. They fight, they show love to one another and some of them are hostile to another. What are your views about this? Let us learn from you. Feel free to back up your points with scriptural verses or quranic references or other relevant sources.

Nice one. This is needed since anybody can just claim to own a cleaning business here in Nigeria. I remember when I moved into my new apartment and I had to clean.
