PoliticsRe: Arrest Order: Dasuki Replies Buhari, Says Panel Never Invited Me by DanielPop(m): 10:16am On Nov 18, 2015
That is one side of the story. Have you heard from Dasuki?
Rawani:
That this man is still making noise despite the heavy revelations against him, underlines the impunity he was accustomed to under the past FG.

N643.8 Billion and $2.1 Billion collected for arms purchases....

Out of 513 arms supply contracts awarded at $8.3 Billion, N2.1 Trillion and E54,000...there were 53 FAILED contracts worth $2.3 Billion and N13.7 Billion respectively.

The ironic and annoying fact is that currency spent on failed contracts was more than double the $1bn loan that the National Assembly approved for borrowing to fight the insurgency in the North East.

...and the final shocker....

Between March 2012 and March 2015, Dasuki awarded fictitious and phantom contracts to the tune of N2.2 Billion, $1.6 Billion and €9.9 million. The contracts which were said to be for the purchase of 4 Alpha Jets, 12 helicopters, bombs and ammunition were not executed and the equipment were never supplied to the Nigerian Air Force, neither are they in its inventory.

Finished? No Wait.

It was discovered that the former NSA directed the Central Bank of Nigeria to transfer the sum of $132 Million and €9.9 Million to the accounts of Societe D’equipmente Internationaux in West Africa, United Kingdom and United States of America for un-ascertained purposes, without any contract documents to explain the transactions.

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/arms-procurement-scam-buhari-orders-arrest-of-dasuki-others/225938/

All this while, hundreds of thousands of innocent Nigerians were being shot, slaughtered, raped, tortured and buried because of THE HEARTLESSNESS AND GREED OF GEJ AND HIS CABAL with Dasuki as the chief strategist and finance mobilizer.

**
Now we know why the fight against BH lacked poiltical will and was sabotaged...

Now we know why a crashed military plane in Sambisa was found filled with dollars....

Now we know why our UN renowned soldiers were running from the terrorists out of frustration...

Yet some elements wanted the FG to gullibly and naively let this terrorist escape, despite him declining invitation to face the arms probe panel.

Congratulations Nigeria, the tentative chief facilitator and financier of Boko Haram has been nabbed.

Which Nigerians? Where did we meet to decide we want to stay together? Chai on top of being a mumudullard, this man na liar too! Na wa o!
Serendip:
Despite the ongoing pro-Biafran protests rocking some parts of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said Nigerians had resolved to remain one.

He said the fact that the country witnessed a lot of internal strife and a civil war since independence and has remained united was a proof of the people’s resolve to remain one.

Buhari spoke during the launch of the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said he was proud to address the gathering in honour of those who he said devoted their lives to the service of the country and the world at large.

The President said, “Today’s occasion reminds us of the need to appreciate the noble contributions of our fallen heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice to maintain national and international peace and security.

“Our nation has recently celebrated 55 years of political independence and continues to remain as one indivisible entity despite several grievous challenges.

“Since independence, Nigeria has witnessed a lot of internal strife, survived a civil war and has remained united.

“This feat achieved by the country is an eloquent testimony to the determination of our citizens to remain as one people.

“The sacrifices of our fallen heroes, heroines, and veterans who rose up to the security challenges cannot go un-noticed.”

While describing the current terrorism challenge as a trying time for Nigeria, Buhari described the theme of this year’s remembrance, “Motivating the Nigerian Armed Forces for Effective Service Delivery” as very apt for the current realities.

He lauded men of the nation’s armed forces for their courage and sacrifices in grappling with the wave of terrorism, oil theft and piracy in some parts of the country, saying they have displayed unalloyed loyalty and commitment to Nigeria.

CareerRe: 4 Big Career Lessons Managers Can Learn From Mourinho And Chelsea Slump by DanielPop(m): 3:42pm On Nov 16, 2015
Waste of prime space!
Don4life:
Is is not supposed to be a guide to failing Managers like Mourinho. It is not even a piece of advice; it’s merely some rant by me, a Barcelona fan, who derives pleasure from seeing Chelsea and Mourinho play badly. For the Chelsea fans who have the privilege (or misfortune) of reading reading this piece; this is my opinion, not Jobberman’s.

With that said, let’s get down to it, shall we?

Career Lesson One

Story:
Chelsea FC have only won ONE Champions league trophy and I remember vividly that after that final, the only set of football fans who ‘had the right’ to speak at viewing centres were Chelsea fans. The rest of us dared not, even though at the time fans of FC Barcelona, Manchester United, FC Bayern, R.Madrid, Juventus and a few others had won (or celebrated winning) that same trophy multiple times. But Chelsea got it once and all hell was let loose; they just wouldn’t let us rest anymore.

Again, Mourinho is famous for repeatedly insisting that Arsene Wenger is a ‘specialist in failure’. The guy sees every pre and post match press conference as an opportunity to rant, complain and insult the person of Arsene; that’s more like his favorite pastime. Well, I bring good news; the dude called Mourinho now wins just one match in every month. Now, who’s the specialist in failure? I can’t laugh abeg.

Lesson:
Enjoy your success, but don’t rub it in the faces of other people.

Career Lesson Two

Story:
Chelsea sacked the only coach to have ever gotten them the Champions league trophy (what Mourinho would never be able to do for them) just a season after. The guy was dismissed like he never did anything good for them — the same idiotic way some bosses dismiss their secretaries/typists after a small typo.

Fast-forward to 2015, Mourinho in his characteristic autocratic manner ‘disciplined and dismissed’ the pretty, affable and reliable team physio, Eva Carneiro over some flimsy and almost irrelevant on-field situation. By the way, the Physio was clearly doing her job by attending to the injured Chelsea player– I think it was Hazard…or err Fabregas; can’t really remember, I hardly watch Chelsea matches — they bore me.

Need I remind everyone that that was the beginning of the slump for Chelsea and Mourinho. Apparently, the lady wasn’t just a Physio, she was very integral to the team, she had some influence and even though her impact might not have been very visible on the surface, they only had to let her go to realize their folly. There are people like that in every team. I like to believe that that event affected the team morale and see where they are on the table today — too low for me to even see.

Lesson:
Don’t Sack Your Eva Carneiro.

Career Lesson Three

Story:
Mourinho has a terrible attitude: he blames everyone but himself when things go awry. Many examples come to mind, but one is fresh. When Chelsea lost to Southampton earlier this season in the premiership, Mourinho cleverly brought in Matic, a defensive midfielder, when he needed to score. Now Mourinho perhaps had seen that that match was a lost cause and wanted to take the media attention away from him. Guess what the ‘special one’ did: baba brought in Matic, waited for Chelsea to concede an inevitable goal and almost immediately removed Matic again.

Now the uninitiated in the mind-games of Mourinho would not easily understand that move, but I will enlighten you. By removing Matic after Chelsea conceded that goal, Mourinho cleverly diverted media attention away from himself, and summarily made the Matic the scape-goat by simply making it appear like Matic was responsible for that goal and he had to be removed. In the end, most people blamed Matic, not Mourinho for the loss.

Lesson:
Prepare for downtime. Things will not always go right and when they eventually go wrong, don’t
push the blame to others, take responsibility and man up.

Career Lesson Four

Story:
Mourinho has a consciousness of self that is unrivaled. The man exhibits the highest form of self-love (or selfishness). When he first came to Chelsea after winning the Champions league with Porto, the guy ceremoniously announced to the English media that he was ‘the special one‘. He had a brilliant spell thereafter. Correct me if I’m wrong, I think he later announced himself as ‘the only one‘ (can’t remember if that was in England, Italy, or Spain).

Frankly, Mourinho is a great coach and winner. But the guy doesn’t just praise his teams as much as one would expect especially as his success is largely tied to the efforts of his players. Mourinho however takes more of the accolades for himself. Mourinho competes with his star players for glory and attention.

Lesson:
It’s okay to give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done, but it’s better when you do
more of same to your team. You might be special, but you equally need a great team to succeed.

Pheww…that’s all folks!

Hello,

I have been dating my boyfriend (call him Yakub) for around 10 months now. When we met, I knew we could never have a future together but I decided to go for it anyway. I am young and i was having fun.

6 Months into the relationship, a very bad incident occurred ( It's related to the reason why we cannot have a future). I couldn't take it. I tried to break up with him but he begged and asked for another chance.I had lost interest in the relationship. I stayed because i was working on a project and he was assisting. I decided that after the project was completed i would break up finally. The project is completed next week.

I met a nice guy 3 months ago and we began casually seeing each other, this weekend. Nothing serious. This weekend Yakub found the texts and was outraged. He broke up with me on the spot. I apologized and told him I understand.

Only for him to call me and beg this evening, saying that he does not mind me seeing other people, he said his life is incomplete without me. He just wants me for me.

I told him NO, but he won't stop. I feel guilty about everything but I also know it wont work out.

And when he sees her he will exhibit some funny characters that even gets me ashamed sometimes in the name of making the girl like him..

Recently there is a girl I introduced to him, he talks about the girl like every where we meet..at the gym, game center, bet center. everybody in the street knows that I am having crush on this girl..

The most touching part of the story was yesterday when I got to the school, I called the girl on phone and the first question she asked me was "DID UR FRIEND COME"..minutes later I called my friend who did not come to school and the first thing he asked me was "DID LOVETH COME"..

I was so confused that I almost had a BP rise..

Buhari once called the Federal government Boko Haram.

People have been massacred by the fulanis under bizzare exigencies, where were the members of this group to strongly condemn such?

And they are being released to go home free of charge? Same men that have murdered, raped, burnt, disemboweled human beings? Or are we saying we do not remember their crimes again? So they should be let go because they feel remorseful? Ok, all the yoruba, igbo and nupe armed robbers in jail and on deathrow are remorseful. Release them all. PoliticsRe: We’ll Shut Down Nigerian Embassy In India-pro-biafra Activists by DanielPop(m): 4:20pm On Oct 27, 2015
You may wish to joke with the protesters but slowly and surely, the agitation is gathering momentum. Soon, it will begin to dominate discourse in international high places. Countries will begin to review their foreign policy with Nigeria with a view towards determining how Biafra or Nigeria fits into into its policy direction. This will determine their support or not for BIafra. The fact that the oil region will likely go with BIafra is food for thought here. Remember, not even a civil war fought 1967 - 1970 has been able to rest the clamour for Biafra. International actors will point to Spain/Catalunya and the United Kingdom referendum and will begin to see the Biafran agitation in that light. Nigeria is one of the remaining two countries coupled together by the British colonialists. All others have collapsed. And as you all know, they have have a right to self determination as long as it takes a peaceful course. However, those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable. Question: Will Oduduwa want to fight alongside Arewa or they will strive for self determination too. I think the latter!

Those who are gloating and seeing this Biafran agitation as a joke should begin to think strategically, if they can. I have been thinking and one strategic decision i have reached is that i prefer to learn Ibo language than any other i.e. apart from mine!

For all i have been able to figure out, Biafrans just want to leave, even if you offer them Aso Rock Presidency. That in itself is cause for concern! Dont forget that it took the death of one man (Ken Saro Wiwa) for international actors to hatch a conspiracy against the Abacha government. I see the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu in that direction. His people wont bail him. They want him to remain there so they can anchor their worldwide protest around him and their quest. And Nnamdi Kanu is comfortable where he is despite the appaling situation. It might be part of the plan.

Buhari has unknowingly, through bad advise, bought into it!
