tola9ja:Mr. Fayose added that “in particular, the emergence of Hon Yakubu Dogara as the House of Representatives Speaker is a lesson of life that what goes round will definitely comes round”. Like Mulikat-Akande, like Femi Gbaja. All na Yoruba lose and Hausa gain x two speakers! (2 zero) |
goodgate:Keep watching events unfold! |
jamael:With that teeth?? |
tonychristopher:100% sold. But not to worry. The South will fight back strongly. Where will Tinubu or the North, who are now sworn enemies, turn to to retain power in 2019? Think about it. |
goodgate:Tinubu is finished. The final nail in his coffin will come from Fayose. First Fayose stopped Tinubu and his sinister Ekiti Assembly men. Now He has been cut to size at the Federal level. Where will he turn to? The South-South? The East? He is hated there. Saraki controls middle belt now so where is Tinubu's resurgence coming from. Any attempt from Tinubu and North will back Fayose to roll him down! You guys are only indulging in pity party! |
lurther:You are right. Not entirely though. Northerners are not smart by any metrics when it comes to politics. They use religion. Simples. It is us in the South who use ideology spiced with big-big grammer to bring our own down. We shot down Jonathan but they kept a dead man (Yar'Adua) in power in the North. They rely on social solidarity while we rely on merit! That is the difference which in saner climes would put us head and shoulder above them. Not in Nigeria anyway where politics is all about primordial sentiments! |
new2020:They will never learn anything. It is in their genes to be betrayers of their brothers. Check it out. 1. Awolowo betrayed Ojukwu. 2. Tinubu and his acolytes betrayed Abiola. 3. Tinubu betrays the south in 2015. It cant be by accident na. Can it? Na their way! Oh the joy i feel now they have been backstabbed. |
AND TRUST DIED! Even amongst thieves there is honour! If both agree to go out and rob a bank then share the spoils 50-50. Let it be so. But when after robbing the bank successfully, one of the thief sees the other as a power that MUST be whittled down thereby denying him his legitimate spoil, you can be rest assured that that alliance is heading fast for the rocks. That is how policemen sometimes apprehend criminals. Not through the intelligence of a smart officer but through intelligence supplied by the aggrieved thief. The major casualty today is not the players whose roles have charted a new course in our democracy. It is trust. Yes, trust is the casualty. Effectively, there's NO MORE TRUST in the APC. I hope you remember that where there's no trust, there's no relationship. It will be interesting after this to see Tinubu, Buhari and others backslap, hug, laugh heartily and hold arms without bitterness in their hearts. Honestly, it is not possible. No man loses investment worth billions to a fraudster yet remain good friends! APC will try to heal their wounds and pull together again but if you have ever played politics, at whatever level before, you will know that the peace in APC will be that of the graveyard! Once egos are bruised, revenge is inevitable. Saraki knows this. Dogara knows this. Tinubu knows this. Today, the PDP succeeded in exposing the underbelly of the state of the APC as regards it's preparedness for power. Close to 80 days after the APC was swept into power on their strange chant of "chanji" there's no sign that they even know what they are doing. Close to 80 days after winning an election, they could not pull through a horse trading deal for who gets what, when and how. They cannot articulate a list of Ministers to serve our fatherland. To cap it all, they went sheepishly to a meeting called at the ICC Abuja without so much as a rear guard watching this closely and giving them feedback. To think that Tinubu et al had to be scrambling for their cars to race back to NASS in shock beats any sane mind. These are supposed to be the people some Nigerians gave the mandate to govern them, yet had NO CLUE of a political coup unfolding under their noses. How can you trust these same people to protect Nigeria in troubled times God forbid! That Buhari travelled to Chad at the same time Osinbajo was in Sudan, when there were NO ELECTED leaders from the Senate or House of Representatives, no SGF nothing! Nigeria was effectively on auto pilot during this period? What!!! And at a time when Boko Haram was wrecking havoc?? Clearly, the APC is simply not ready to govern, perhaps due to its very nature of being a motley collection of the good, the bad and the ugly. Why won't i say so when it took the PDP 16 years to implode but took the APC only TWO WEEKS to press the self-destruct button! And you mock the PDP? Is this the "chanji" that PDP warned you about? If it is, then you are in trouble. Next steps: are we going to see subterranean realignment of political interests from APC to PDP or to a new party or back to ACN or CPC for that matter? Keeping my fingers crossed and enjoying the political delicacy served up by politicians. Note: A young turk in politics is becoming discernible. Give it up for my friend, Abdulmumin Jubril. He somehow picks his fight carefully and HE WINS them. Guy, one gbosa for you! |

U.S Court Indictment: PDP Gives Reps Minority Leader 14 Days Ultimatum To Resign. "The Supreme Court of Georgia had on February 26, 2007 suspended Femi Gbajabiamila from practising law for 36 months. The Reps Minority Leader, who is a member of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and was known as Femi Gbaja then admitted violating Rule 1.15(I) of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct set forth in Bar Rule 4-102(d). He admitted that he accepted payment of $25,000 as settlement of a client’s personal injury claims, deposited those funds in his attorney trust account in January 2003, failed to promptly disburse those funds to his client, withdrew those funds for his own use, closed his practice and moved out of the country. Although he ultimately paid the $25,000 to his client in 2006, three years after he collected the fund, his conduct violated Rule 1.15(I), which punishable by disbarment" http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/u-s-court-indictment-pdp-gives-reps-minority-leader-14-days-ultimatum-to-resign/ The man has admitted he committed the crime. This same man is the one APC leaders want to be the Number 4 citizen of Nigeria....a convicted man! You can see that the Dogara group is right that "Our Party (APC) Leaders Are Fraudulent, Shameful And Dishonest" IF YOU DEFEND FEMI GBAJABIAMILA WHO HAS AGREED HE COMMITTED A CRIME AND WAS PUNISHED FOR IT, TO BE OUR SPEAKER, IT MEANS YOU ARE "Fraudulent, Shameful And Dishonest" ![]() |

Aero has the best safety records in the aviation industry in Nigeria. They always control mid air issues and land comfortably! My prefered any day. Except for that history of flight delays but as I'd always say, better a delayed flight than not arriving permanently! |
A KEY REASON WHY SOME FORMER PRESIDENTS MOVED AGAINST JONATHAN IN 2015....and worked for Buhari's emergence: 180m HALLIBURTON SCANDAL: Two ex-Heads of State battle Jonathan on october 30, 2012. BY KINGSLEY OMONOBI ABUJA — Following the directive by President Goodluck Jonathan that the investigative report into the $180 million Halliburton bribery scandal be re-opened and the major culprits re-arrested, Vanguard gathered that this has resulted in a fall out between two former heads of state and President Jonathan. The two former heads of state (names withheld) were said to have been found in the investigative report to have benefitted from the sharing of the Halliburton bribe money using fronts who have already confessed that they were only fronting for their principals. Incidentally, when the investigation team took off from Abuja sometime in 2010 and landed in Ibadan on their way to the home of one of the indicted persons, Bodunde Adeyanju, to recover documents relating to how the Halliburton bribe money was collected and disbursed, the team was sent back to Abuja from the Ibadan airport. Jonathan determined to prosecute suspect.. It was gathered that President Jonathan is determined to prosecute those found wanting in the bribery scandal to demonstrate not only to Nigerians who feel he is a toothless bulldog when it comes to fighting corruption, but also to show the international community that corrupt people, no matter their status in the society, can be brought to book in Nigeria. And as part of this determination, it was gathered that an approval has been secured by the five-man inter-agency panel headed by the Inspector General of Police, including EFCC, SSS, and ICPC, to travel to France, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Spain to confirm the foreign leg of the investigations which mostly involves wiring of the funds, the amounts and the account holders. It will be recalled that this aspect of the investigation was to be carried out in 2010, as the visas had been acquired and about N50million meant for the trip and investigation expenses made available but the trip was called off following pressure said to have been mounted on the office of the Attorney General of the federation by a former head of state. Already, Vanguard gathered that the US government has sent a letter to the Federal Government warning that it may apply certain amount of sanctions in line with international anti-corruption protocols if the culprits are not prosecuted and if the $26.5 million paid by Julius Berger as Plea Bargain is not located and given to the Police. Meanwhile, the Police authorities are said to be working round the clock to unravel the mystery surrounding whereabouts of the Julius Berger plea bargain money with the Inspector General of Police vowing that the money must be found. It was gathered that as part of investigation on the matter, all the receipts of plea bargain money returned by other suspects during investigation, and whose amounts were lodged in such government accounts with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Ministry of Finance, Accountant General’s office and the office of the Accountant General of the federation have been recalled and the monies located except that returned by Julius Berger. It will be recalled that President Jonathan had directed the Police to resuscitate the investigative report of the $180million Halliburton scam following America ’s insistence that the culprits in the bribery scandal must be brought to book before the $130million in US coffers can be returned to Nigeria . America also insisted that the $26.5million plea bargain money returned by Construction giant, Julius Berger, must be located and made available to Police following suspicion that the money has developed legs and ended up in some person’s pocket. Since the directive there has been confusion over the whereabouts of the huge amount of money and this according to sources has angered President Jonathan who has subsequently charged the Attorney General of the federation, Mr. Mohammed Adoke to fish out the money and make it available to the Police by end of this week. The decision to task the Attorney General with the assignment according to sources followed conflicting statements by both Julius Berger, office of the Accountant General of the federation and the Police investigators about the true position of the funds. One account said the money was in the possession of the Accountant General of the federation. Another account said the money was being kept in the office of the AGF while the Police said they are at a loss of the money’s whereabouts. Julius Berger one of the companies indicted in the Halliburton $180 million bribery scandal had opted for a plea bargain in order to be speared the prosecution process following the conclusion of the 5 man inter-agency investigation panel. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/10/180m-halliburton-scandal-two-ex-heads-of-state-battle-jonathan/ End. MY TWO CENTS: These same leaders that fought Jonathan worked for Buhari's emergence knowing that if Jonathan wins a second term, they'd face the music. However, they didn't expect that "I belong to no one" speech from their Buhari! NOW THIS... Buhari reopens $182m bribery case 3 ex-leaders (all closet APC members who helped install buhari as president), others may face trial. http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/content/buhari-reopens-182m-bribery-case Hehehehehehehehehe!!!!!! They put a bull in a China shop! Soon all hell will break loose, i.e. if Buhari has the courage to attack those who made him President! APC may collapse sooner than we expect! Watching intensely! |
