Ok to understand that the price was inflated I wanted to buy the materials myself and pay workers, and they supervise. Again someone is asking for 4 million to just supervise, is it government Olympic swimming pool??

They practically look inside everyday and it’s so uncomfortable. Please do you have any suggestions as to what can be done to block their views? He was thinking of doing heavy metal poles and putting Gerard roof to cover like a billboard sort of but it’s too expensive. Thanks

We did offer to get the materials, and the contractor was demanding 3million for labor and supervision. The block setting does not cost 100 per block. Or is pool block setting different? From block setting that cost #30/40,But to be clear I could still opt for a 13*11 size but com on 10 million?? It didn’t even cost us that much to build the Guest house including hall. 10 million that’s unrealistic.

I have someone who can give you that Job for a reasonable cost! Let's say around 50k or so if interested I will send his number across

There is no Where in Nigeria you will get HDF for N13500.

HDF Block board is Sold for N16,000 - N17,000.

Quality HDF Straight Board is sold for N18500 to N21000

MDF Board For N13,500 to N14,500

Why Marine Board goes for around N13,000. Here in Lagos

This Price changes always due to Dollar Rise, Availability of some Certain Colors or scarcity.

Doing a Quality Door cost over 2 Boards, let's say 3 Boards which you will have like 20 - 30% offcut from the 3rd Board

You will buy Think Edge Tape, Glue, Evostic Gum, Nails, Inges and Locks.

Cutting and leaping per Board is between N2000 to N3000 depending on the Machine or Company you are using to Cut, Transport etc.

How much do you think is left from the stated amount.

A good Quality door is Expensive. Your advice is Only welcomed to Customers who can differentiate between the different types of Board and who can Supervise the whole process of building and installing the Doors to avoid settling for Less!!

I once Handled a Project at Lekki where the Furniture Job was given to other person's and I saw how the Furniture guy mixed both HDF and MDF for the Door's. This is Lagos I had to Mind what took me to the Site. Less than a Month when I later Visited the Site 2 Door's were already Fallen out from the inges. Why Because they Screwed the inges on the MDF Board. Those Door's were taken out and had to do another one.


My point is this Quality Differs so as to being Pro at what you do!
