And so, I was just thinking!
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore: 3:36pm On Dec 19, 2013
Thanks Emeka55, Yes the copy is original there, letter headed and colored. I would do as you have said though I would just have to still wait Monday when they said I would be getting my semester papers, add them all together and schedule for my appointment at the embassy. Don't know if they use DHL cos, they never mentioned something like that. So now, do I have to write the embassy first before they give me an appointment or whats the procedure please? Still thinking if I would have to tell them its the original or I would just have to tell them the simple truth about it cos even on the admission letter, it reads 'this notification is generated automatically and its valid without signature and seal' with many German law quotes added, etc. so, what u think Boss?
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore: 12:17pm On Dec 19, 2013
@ Emeka55, thanks again. I understand your explanations. Actually, it should be diff schools with diff procedures I suppose but nevertheless, I would follow what they have said and see how it goes but this is my last(temporary though) question now- The admission letter they sent was via my account on the school portal which I was instructed to download so, can I use that or I would have to wait for them to send me the original via post? Thanks again
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore: 8:31pm On Dec 18, 2013
Thanks @ Aroyem4u for your contribution but here is it, the school made me make my semester contribution from here as they stated in their email that, I MUST have to make my semester contribution (298.50 Euros) before they can send me the semester documents needed for my visa application hence, I had to ask my wife to help me pay that from France which they recently confirmed. So now, I asked for my semester documents and the admission officer said, she would send them in by Monday via email or if I want, via post of which I am waiting for by that Monday to receive them cos, I told her to send via email and then also post. Please, can I use the documents sent via email to apply for visa or I would have to wait to receive the originals from Germany first before I would do my visa application?
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore: 2:40pm On Dec 17, 2013
Ok then @ Emeka55, thanks so much. I know they have given the admission already but on the letter , it states conditional letter of admission though you know. I think, your right with the registration stuff next because, that was what they said of which at the end, they would provide me with the semester papers and also student ID card. Sent the semester contribution via my wife in France and got there on time also. Was just thinking if I would have to still wait for the docs or use the admission letter already given hence, this question.. School's HAW, Hamburg. Thanks so far anyway.

@ Emeka 55, Thanks for your response.
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore: 9:52am On Dec 17, 2013
Ok Guys, I would love to ask if one can use 'conditional admission letter' alongside other relevant documents(needed by the embassy), to apply for Visa or it should only be an 'unconditional admission letter' that could be use for this purpose?
Asking because, my school has sent me only conditional admission letter and yet to send admission papers + student ID card as they have stated.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore: 9:19pm On Nov 26, 2013
@ Godson201333, not funny tho cos, that's what the school wrote on their 'admission checklist' sent to me and also, I think any school differs from another too. Thanks
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore: 8:18pm On Nov 26, 2013
grin nice to know that so, i'm gonna enjoy my studies there..lol.. how you doing this evening Kelo? was asked to book my accommodation now so I did that today and by tomorrow, I would be sending all required documents to the school as they have requested again so they could get me my student ID card and other documents needed for Visa application thereafter. Just praying everything gets perfect IJN, amen.. So, are you working and how many hours do you wok and how far is your place from work? What does accommodation (private) cost like per month there in Berlin and could it be relative to the prices of same in Hamburg?
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore: 4:22am On Nov 26, 2013
Thanks @ Kelo314. of cos I know understanding the language would be of great importance. So, how about Hamburg which is Northern Germany, is it also cool like Berlin?
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore: 8:59pm On Nov 25, 2013
@Kelo314, thanks and now understood though mine is about 18months ( 3 semesters @ 6months each ) whatsup and hope a student could get a job that could pay his rent and send some little home for them to enjoy oh, lol? Do they speak English in Germany at all? Just generally, how is Germany?
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore:
@ Ogbeche. thanks but no I cant apply for a visa until I get the instruction from them. its gonna be step by step bro. Yes I have gotten the admission.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore:
@ Kelo314,do you really mean 2nd year M.Sc or B.Sc? How many years is the M.Sc of that your course please? ! Ogbeche77. i'm sorry for replying late. Actually was busy kinda. Yes I already got admission for the summer beginning 11th March as stated on the admission letter sent to me. The admission letter is 3 pages and on the 3rd page is a form for confirmation of admission if I would accept or not then I would have to sign and return alongside with other documents to the school via post, not later than 13th Dec for them to receive ALL the docs and then, they would send me my student ID and other documents quickly again which they have said I am gonna use for my VISA application, etc..

Note: The admission process for the summer course actually ended since July 15th and the school portal was closed. After 3months, they emailed me to check on the portal to download my admission letter directly from there (using my student profile information they gave to me for regular check of this) but within this long period, I was always writing and calling them asking them series of questions until finally I got the letter.

Thanks @kelo314. 9ce response from you. now, do you know of this German insurance I mentioned about ( Bermer Gek)?.

Just hoping everything works together for my good at the last because, I would be paying the semester contribution by tomorrow and sending all required documents to the school via the post tomorrow morning so I could met up the deadline they said which is 13th Dec for them to receive all the documents including my payment slip for the semester contribution.
TravelRe: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by DANNIEmore: 12:19pm On Nov 24, 2013
@Kelo314, huge thanks. I am less than 30 years and already have a contract with one German insurance called Bermer GEK and would commence operation/my payment to them from only March next year when I must have arrived there. Please, how much does mutual benefit charge for this 3 months stuff? Still waiting for an answer to my question that could be asked by the German consulate- Why Germany and also, what do you intend to do after studies? Please, I need response on this. Thanks and God Bless Y'all.

Hello Nlanders, Please a question from a German consulate like- why Germany? what do you think would be the best answer to such?
Also, the German school I got admission into said I should get a German based insurance and that 9ja own wouldn't be accepted there now, does this mean that, one wouldn't have to do the 9ja own that I hear lots of us say the embassy called them and requested them to get 3 months insurance here to submit in order to get their study visa? Please, I need expertise advice(s). Huge thanks.

huge thanks and God bless u. Actually fell in love with Germany when I read lot of their students simple rules. Thanks so much as I would find schools and sure let everybody know once I get any free or little tuition schools thereafter. You also shouldn't hesitate to let us know here should in case you find any too. Stay great.
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by DANNIEmore:
thanks so much. Engineering sells everywhere especially in Germany and UK unlike medical field in Germany is no profit area when compared. Its pretty expensive though. the UK gave me the their offer as pay 3000Pounds before CAS is given and then 2300 again on/b4 Jan at enrollment in the school and then the other balance 3800, not stated date of payment. All together- 9100 Pounds but Germany says you pay the 2400 plus the semester contribution of 298.50 Euros every semester. Now, my fear is this,UK student law is too strict unlike Germany and they have given ample time to make the payments . UK wouldn't allow me to give them stories when its time due for the fee payment . That's another thing or do you think they will ?

Thanks for the info. I actually didn't find any school for MPH-Public Health that is free tuition in Germany or do you have any referral(s) for me please? Thanks again.
