nevilbot: I used nipost registered mail with a tracking n0 for BTW 500 and 1k depending on d weight of d letter and it takes 10 working days. Its tested and trusted. I used it over 10 times from different towns in Nigeria ( ondo, akure, owerri) and it din't fail me once. Nipost is now very ok

emeka55: I see a lot of sugar coating here. Other people contributed to Kunlelikeme's question and I did not quote them. Why I quoted Honorableseyi was because he gave a very wrong advice or suggestion like he said that could cause visa rejection for that guy.
I simply said "Pls don't give advice without experience" before he came all ghetto on me.
U guys think there is glory attached to being famous on a thread where people don't even know u outside of.
I am not bothered about Honourableseyi because he's the least of my problems and I've gone too far in life to take ink and keypad seriously.

The thing be say, i have completed my enrollment, paid my semester fee and done my health insurance ( my sister helped me with d bank details) from Bramer Gek and they have sent the certificate to me, is it possible for me to present that at the embassy wen i want to collect my visa or is it a MUST that it will be nigerian health insurance. Nevertheless,i'm ashmed to say I went late(45mins late) for my interview last week and was not admitted into the premises by our man at the gate.lol.(Lagos hold-up don tire me join say I get family o,lol).
Was down but thats life,(what can I do,fight to enter? Lol)
Had to re-apply same day and was re-scheduled for another date just within 30mins interval. I think/know i'm very lucky on that so,please help me thank God.

However, If you don't want Either of the above, get to banks that serve as RIA agents. Ask to do a RIA transfer. They will tell you that they can only receive money. Tell them that the rules have changed and that they should cross check. There is a new rule granting RIA rights to send money from NIGERIA! I heard the advert on the radio in abuja just before I travelled. Don't allow the cashiers or CS agents to deceive you. Insist that you heard the advert sponsored by the CBN.

I spent about #1.93mill to fund my account using the blackmarket system when I could have used RIA to deliver straight to my Deustebank account directly.

How do i differentiate which from which? Was your own specific? How do i know public insurance givers from Private insurance givers? Is ur own private or public?

And since you've sent an email to Bermer Gek already, patiently wait their response as you get to ask whatever from them, whichever way you would like to.

@ Ebele, you can check for the official websites of either of Mawista,AOK and Bermer Gek, they are good German health insurance for students. Read carefully via their terms and conditions and see which would suit you then,contact them via their email(s). They would be glad and fast in sending you a certificate even without paying a dime yet till you would either arrive Germany and/or till your agreed date of commencement of business with them.. Im using the Bermer Gek anyway.. They sent me a certificate same day after I contacted them here via email since my school asked me for a copy of it to do my registration from Nigeria, to become fully enrolled in my course. They only asked me few questions/documents to send them for that purpose. This should be same with others I guess so,kindly check through and make a choice from any..

Tell them,often timesyou had travelled around(maybe), your big sister had always taken care of them therefore,no problem about leavin them behind with her and moreover,its only studies your going there for and so,you would definitely come to visit them and when your done, you would return finally. I believe it also stand as a tie to your home country you know.

Eke40seven: @damsamty, am glad that finally your desires have come to pass. Your journey to Germany shall be smooth, I understand the pressure you must have gone through. Since you have somebody at I solo, its better you move from there because getting a hotel near the embassy can be very expensive. However, Isolo is a considerably far, so, leave as early as 6:00 am from I solo or even before in order to beat traffic at the 3rd mainland bridge and other traffic bottlenecks even around Isolo.

Please, did anybody wait more than 2-3 days to get a reply from the embassy for appointment using a sponsor?

As @ d time(Feb 2014) I used d sponsorship letter to book for my appointment,I got a response like 30mins later from the embassy. Now,I applied using blocked account,it was still same. Don't think there's any sentiment about all that. Don't know though!

Ndyoo: From my understanding of your denial, the VO couldn't ascertain properly why you're going for this course. You might have true intentions but when you don't clearly state them during your interview then the odds are not your side.

After the interview with the Germany embassy I will be having anoda with USA for a seminar, but I bliv success in the formal will help boost my chance with the USA.

This your post above makes you look desperate, I hope you didn't exhibit that during your interview. I urge you to relax, try get a genuine reason then or find better ways to express yourself with the reason you have. I sense you have a degree that is not related to the music you're going for...

You're correct Geemana. Hd even sent dem an email 2 ds effect suc that, when they reply,I would be 'more' sure of wat 2 post here as wen I tried it,it kept showing d 1550Euros stuff.
Normally, getting a one way ticket is more expensive than even getting a return ticket using most of these 'big/renowned airlines' cos they tend to discourage flyers from getting d former;it could also happen even in smaller airlines..
Same promo was sent 2 me by airfrance of wch when I tried booking also,it kept on giving me similar cost as that of KLM.
I know KLM/AIRFRANCE are same cos often times when we booked for either of them,when one is filled up for that particular date of choice of traveling,they just put you into another as the case maybe(vice-versa).

Therefore,I would agree with you cos,twas same thing I got (1550Euros) when I tried to book earlier yesterday after reading that info.Its only for going but coming back,was very expensive.they know what they're doing jare.one-way with all these prominent airlines and even some of the so-called cheap airlines too, are usually very expensive as they tend to discourage flyers from getting one-way (as ealier said). Only a few would go cheap(so-called cheap airlines) and dnt care if your're getting one way or not.eg, Royal air maroc which we've also used severally, etc.

iluminati: Please does anybody knows the appeal process if you are refused student visa at the German Embassy in Lagos. I want to appeal for my brother somebody should please give me guidance.

Write an appeal letter,sign with biro and then attach in pdf ONLY to send the embassy via their email.(Attach any more supporting documets that you think could help).
Include d visa application # in d application letter,dont forget!

I received my visa today at the German embassy along with two other really cool guys who fortunately for the three of Us, happen to be travelling to the same German State.

Isn't that amazing ?

We were busy laughing at our errors during the interview some weeks back.

Seriously, as a student, 1. You should know your COURSE STRUCTURE 2. Study the Numbers- especially the Dates on your documents, CV and payments made.
3. Outsmart yourself, not the embassy. It is their country and they decide who Enters not just by your Efforts.
