Will you stop trivializing the issue at hand.
Must you attack peoples right to complain.
Borrowing is not a crime, in fact borrowing is healthy for the economy.
What Dangote alone owes can buy all the loan apps in Nigeria times 10.

Somebody made a complaint and you are here attacking him
You are not getting me sir. What I am saying is that the government can't do anything about it because the government is also a debtor to the Chinese. All these loan companies that are also owned by the Chinese.

I work with an online loan company.
The reason why we call debtors contacts,is because they are the ones close to the debtors, since the debtor is ignoring our calls...they know how to talk to the debtor so that he/she can pay up and avoid unnecessary messages or calls.

It now depends on how the Loan Collecting Officer addresses you...... because not everyone who knows how to relate good with others.

When someone's loan is 19 days overdue,I do call and speak politely their contacts to help me reach to the debtor..... within 3 days, the money gets paid.

Since you believe they are close to the debtors, why can't you call them and ask for credit worthiness of the debtors before granting the loan?

One funny thing is that most of these loan companies are owned by Chinese people. And they employ Nigerians to embarrass their fellow citizens.

Just yesterday I got two calls from different numbers claiming that two of my colleagues took a loan and had refused to pay. And those people are not like that o. Maybe one things could've let to them been unable to pay on the due date, they started damaging the person's image.

All Nigerians are owing Chinese
Business / Re: Help! Embarrassing Calls From Loan Companies by danniyal(m): 8:52pm On Oct 05, 2021
Op is calling on the government to help against Chinese loan apps when the government is equally hugely indebted to the Chinese. We are all Chinese slaves at the moment. This is second wave of colonialism happening right before our eyes

Avoid there thieves if you value your life. They will make your life miserable and creat so many problems for you. If you default for a single day, they will send messages to all your contacts that you are a thief and that you use their numbers as collateral to get the loan
Your inlaws, colleagues, friends, church/mosgue, fiance/fiancee. Imagine the embarrassment on top small amount coupled with crazy interest. AVOID THESE LOAN SHARKS WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH

The best advice is to avoid them completely. They are criminals just like drug cartels and arm robbers. They are out to destroy people's lives and they don't care. Ask your self this question, why don't they have a physical location? Why are they hiding?. The authorities will tell you they don't regulate them because they don't exist. I pity Nigerians working for them because of poverty
If you must take loan from them, ensure you DELETE ALL YOUR CONTACTS and replace them with dummy numbers and you are done with the fraudsters

The trick is simple guys. NEVER give these online criminals called loan sharks your real contacts. They will spread lies against you to tarnish your image.
Ensure you backup and delete all your contacts and then replace them with dummy numbers. Backup and delete whatapp and gallery before requesting for the loan. If you can payback its fine, if you run into problems you are safe. Many have committed suicide because of these criminals, people have lost jobs, relationships destroyed, imagine tarnished
DELETE YOUR CONTACTS BEFORE APPLYING

The new demons now after sokoloan is CYCLE CASH and I won't even advice my enemy to request a loan from them. So sometime three weeks back I requested a loan from them and I paid back fully twice and on the third payment of 14k with an outrageous interest rate I could not meet up because I had not received my salary for the month and when the loan was due they called and started threatening me that they will disgrace me and I pleaded with the guy that I had not received my salary and he should give me some time that month will soon end and I will pay but the idiot ended the call and the next thing I knew I started receiving messages from my contacts that I stole money from a company and the worst of it was that they sent the messages to my boss at work of which landed me in a deep mess at work and a day later the idiot called me that if he doesn't receive the money before the day runs out I will surely see his next step of action and I tried talking to him again but this insisted I must pay the money that day of which I could not come up with only for him to send another message to my contacts that I was dead and he even included my father's number in the message that people should send my father condolence message because I was dead and the same message got to my boss again and I got fired the day before yesterday because my boss said I am ruining my reputation and that of his company and he couldn't work with me anymore. This is the number of the cycle cash idiot who keeps sending bad messages to people's contact and made me loose my job:07042084984 and his name is JOHN. Please stay away from this demonic loan apps or else they will ruin you to the extent of commiting suicide.

Sorry guy,it is not the end of the world. Nemesis will catch up with them. Since the government is not doing anything about it, we need to show these Chinese criminals a lesson they will never forget

ChizzyBuna:
Sokoloan contacted my contacts that I'm a fraudster that ran away with company funds.
But to my surprise, I already made part payment.

They sent that message to all my contact including one guy that I helped in the past during lockdown. I haven't spoken to this contact since lockdown.

He called me and said what's going on
I explained what happened
He said he lost my contact and was looking for how to contact me and thank me for what I did for him.
I was still angry and he told me not to be worried that infact he will send me 370k and I should clear whatever that issue was.
Omo!!!!!!!!! I shock.
This guy i help him when he was homeless during lockdown.
The guy don blow now i didn't believe him until I received the alert.
Till now it feels like I'm dreaming.
So I decided not pay Sokoloan for the humiliation they caused me.
I even screenshot my bank balance and told them I'm not paying a dime for destroying my image.
Thank you Sokoloan, your embarrassment was a blessing in disguise.
I have withdrawn the money from bank
grin
Make I no hear say Dem auto debit.
I will advise you to pay them their money and let it be, if not, they will continue to disturb your contacts and its not a good thing
I will advice anyone taking loan from them to delete all his/her contacts and replace them with dummy numbers preferably foreign contacts and that is it. Don't have any remorse because they are fraudsters, evil, liars, criminals

Every financial institution is registered with CBC
Sokoloan is not a financial institution. They are fraudsters. Have you seen people complaining so much about branch, carbon and the rest? The reason is that they operate under regulations with favourable duration and rates which makes it possible for people to easily payback. Defaulting against Branch and the rest can affect your credit score negatively

Your problem is when downloading apps and filling forms, you don't read terms and conditions, you just keep punching accept, accept and accept, once its installed and you get what you want that's all not minding to read what you are accepting... I don't have time for people who argue blindly, when people were authorizing soko loan to access their contacts they did not know...
If you cannot post screenshot, don't quote me again pls
