Why always soko loan cos they are passionate about thier hard earned money they brought from outside Nigeria to come and invest in Nigeria

But unfortunately they are watching it go down the drain in millions, nobody dey pay back loan for this Nigeria. Do you know how many yahoo boys recruit people to download loan apps just to apply and get the money

Go and ask all the Nigerian banks the history of bad debts and go to all Nigerian courts and ask how many court cases involving Nigerians and bank loans

Someone logged out of his ZenithMobile app and he didn’t see loan option and had to log into your own app to get a loan

Why you no ask them what happened to their bank account and why can’t they apply for a loan there

Go and ask zenith bank what happened when it started easy loan option *966# last year and how millions of people started opening zenith bank account for free so they can use the code to apply for a loan and leave the account overdrawn like that without paying

Due diligence and common sense is key in doing business in Nigeria

I like your reasoning. Due diligence like proper KYC and operating under the framework of the law. Do you you know all of them are not licensed by the CBN, not active on CAC portal and hence they don't pay tax?. They want to make quick money and it's not going to work

You have not experienced this people ways of doing business.
What on earth would make you see a loan that is less than 24hours overdue a bad one to the extent of blackmailing the person involved.
I am talking from my experience, those people are not doing the right thing. Blackmailing people for not paying a loan on time would not make you recover the money .
My loan was due on the 25th and they have been calling and sending text to me since the early hours of that day. They told me to pay up before 2pm which I told the lady to relax that I am working on getting the loan paid. They called again some minutes to 2 pm which I missed because of my busy schedule in the office. I then paid the money at about 2: 23 pm. It wasn't up to 10 minutes I paid that a friend called me that someone reported me to him that I was owing them some money and that I have not been responding to them ever since. I was so mad at them for divulging my financial dealings with a third party that wasn't aware of the deal.
Because of that, I decided not to pay the other loan from the same company that was overdue the same day demanding an explanation from them for their act over the one I just paid. I sent one of the customer care officer a text about my experience hoping he would just apologize and let it slide, the next thing I heard was insults and curses from him.
What I got the next day was a shocker. They sent messages to virtually all my contracts that I am a Thief and that i ran away with a company's money.
How on earth could they label me a thief for a loan I defaulted for less than 24 hours? Because of what they did, I decided not to pay that money until they apologised to me and retract those malicious message they used in blackmailing me.
Can you imagine? some people are still supporting this evil. It shall never be well with these Chinese people below and one Mr Kehinde Ijilade

If you don't use iron hands on Nigerians, they will take you for granted.

that's why I don't blame those aggressive loan companies, why take what you can't pay back in the first place?

it's obvious Nigerians take pride in running people's business down.
Is it by force to give out loans? Is lending the only business in Nigeria?. How can you give out loans to people you don't know and without collateral then you begin to disturb people who don't know anything about the transaction in the first place. Is that not madness? Can a Nigerian try this nonsense in China?

So what lead to him seeking a loan in the first instance?

You can't leave the cause and start tackling the effects..

The economic condition of the country, lead to him seeking a loan from loan sharks..

If he had been gainfully employed, would there be any need for a loan?

From Sherlocks?
I quite agree with you. We are in a deep mess, only God can help us now

This message was sent by 9CREDIT to all the contacts of a debtor. Is this not enough to cause suicide?

The best way to deal with their wickedness is to mobilize lots of people that can collect loans with fake contacts and that will teach them a lesson. Let's keep spreading the method. They can't do anything since they are not registered

Will you stop trivializing the issue at hand.
Must you attack peoples right to complain.
Borrowing is not a crime, in fact borrowing is healthy for the economy.
What Dangote alone owes can buy all the loan apps in Nigeria times 10.

Somebody made a complaint and you are here attacking him
You are not getting me sir. What I am saying is that the government can't do anything about it because the government is also a debtor to the Chinese. All these loan companies that are also owned by the Chinese.

I work with an online loan company.
The reason why we call debtors contacts,is because they are the ones close to the debtors, since the debtor is ignoring our calls...they know how to talk to the debtor so that he/she can pay up and avoid unnecessary messages or calls.

It now depends on how the Loan Collecting Officer addresses you...... because not everyone who knows how to relate good with others.

When someone's loan is 19 days overdue,I do call and speak politely their contacts to help me reach to the debtor..... within 3 days, the money gets paid.

Since you believe they are close to the debtors, why can't you call them and ask for credit worthiness of the debtors before granting the loan?

One funny thing is that most of these loan companies are owned by Chinese people. And they employ Nigerians to embarrass their fellow citizens.

Just yesterday I got two calls from different numbers claiming that two of my colleagues took a loan and had refused to pay. And those people are not like that o. Maybe one things could've let to them been unable to pay on the due date, they started damaging the person's image.

All Nigerians are owing Chinese

Op is calling on the government to help against Chinese loan apps when the government is equally hugely indebted to the Chinese. We are all Chinese slaves at the moment. This is second wave of colonialism happening right before our eyes
