Morning Everyone, I am seeking some clarification.

Does the Code 6135 for care workers, include support workers, child support workers, residential support workers, or only those doing adult social care ?


I just want to know guys, because I work in a secure children home as an assistant practitioner in the care team, what is my eligible code? Will I qualify for health insurance exemption or refund?

Sad to read. It seems this would be the rising trend among many masters students especially those in non-healthcare roles.
Aside seeking sponsorship roles that meet the salary threshold, you can seek out roles in sectors that are exempt e.g the NHS. Also gather the prison service offer sponsorship. If you can't, then paying your PSW fee might be the only way to get 2 further years of stay, garner experience, income and keep pushing.
Also worth looking at the Canada healthcare draws. I have stumbled upon a few who have applied for their healthcare draw successfully the basis of being a carer or HCA so I'm guessing your role in youth residential care might count if you've achieved required hours. Hopefully, others would shed more light. Good luck as you navigate this

Guys just rounded my masters in community development and Youth Studies. Seeking a role that sponsor me. Currently with a county council that have told me, it won't sponsor me.

My background is in the non profit sector back home, child protection, sexual and gender based violence. But currently in youth residential care. Based in Nottingham but open to move, as long as the role can sponsor.

Have you got any advise or something for me?

I am appalled with paying 8400 for IHS and visa application fee for me, my wife and son, for the post Study Visa in January. I don't even have it. I have justed finished paying 14k for my program. Is there anything you can suggest to me ?

Which agency can help me sort out my bill with OVO energy. They are trying to rip me off . I use to submit my meter reading monthly but they claimed I didn't submit my feb-April reading so they gave me outrageous estimated billing. They agreed that I submitted January , may and June. I asked them the estimated amount should be the difference between January and May reading divided by Feb March and April but they chose to give outrageous estimated billing. I have be listed as debtor and recovery agent is asking me to pay. Please which agency or body can help me to resolve this issue. Note I have been to citizens advisory bureau but not much came out.

All of us cannot work for NHS. Assuming it's just a care role, and I am transitioning from Student Visa to Skilled work visa, so I am a new entrant to the skilled work visa, 70% of 38,700 is enough to add a dependant.

I think if danny34 would also clarify if the role would be a full time role by the time he's rounding up his masters, it could give better context and if you can shed more light on that instance.
I'm also on a part time role with a LA and I know with the calculations above, the part time porated annual salary doesn't qualify for sponsorship.

By October 1, I am transitioning to a full time role.

So, I am asking based on the full time role. I am only able to do 20 hours now because of my visa requirement.

So since the role in the health and care sector, can I be sponsored on the threshold 24 - 27k? Can at least wify join as dependant?

This is a girl I signed for tailoring work, her attitude towards me this year changed drastically because of hard times am going through. I have seen her at the far end of my street standing with boys of same age with her holding her anyhow in the waist and every time I caution her that she's no longer a small girl but a woman.

I thought maybe she will grow up, but since on Sunday afternoon she left for her mother's place, she was supposed to come back in the evening, I waited till on Monday morning I couldn't call her because the last time I bought phone for her, she lied she lost it, I later found out that she gave it to one guy who is a Yahoo boy, it nearly caused a big issue that the community chairman had to be involved to settle the whole matter and the money of the phone was paid back to me.

I had to go to her mother place only to see my daughter there and she wasn't in sight. Though her mom was trying to hide it from me but I know what's going on, this isn't the first time she's done something like this

I Just left there this evening, all her mother was saying is I should take it easy.

I didn't beat her

We didn't quarrel, she just left on Sunday afternoon to drop my 3 year daughter at her mothers place.

I'm ashamed of the whole thing, everyone in my compound keeps asking me of her whereabouts, til it has gotten to the far end of our street.

I can't even come out in peace, if I do they must be one person to ask me what happened just to find my mouth, and the shame of explaining everything to them of her she dumped my daughter since on sunday is not easy.

Note: please those Ladies thinking I toke advantage of her, I didn't.
I'm a very educated individual, I did introductions with her parents before she came to live with me.
Then her dowry was paid.
It was my choice, every man dreams to get married to a tear rubber. If I want to remake that choice I probably do it again, this was never to discourage those who wants a young wife.
