flyca: If Nigerians know how inflated these projects are, they will weep for our lost future
Hello. Please I need ideas on how I can reach your state governor.
My company here in China can build wind turbine generators 75m high generate 50MW of Electricity with just N2bn (non inflated, not in dollars, in naira) through renewable wind energy. It is also costumizable to suit individual needs.
Renewable Energy is reliable, green, clean, does not require fueling and zero-emmission. And if you don't understand 50MW can power Anambra and Enugu States, 247! I'm serious.
At the moment, we have projects in India, Spain, South America etc. And I will like to take some projects home too.
I'm a Nigerian, not affliated to any government or political party. I am tired of the way things are done! No body send me o, I'm just doing my part, in building the nation. let's talk |

This is what a Hausa/Fulani man posted on a facebook group "Nigeria Civil Right Movement "Nigerian security operatives shouldn't take this threat as a joke. In 2011, many Christian's lost their lives because of this.
DSS and Sultan of Sokoto will pretend as if they did not see this....
http://www.weeklypostng.org/2017/01/if-buhari-dies-we-will-start-civil-war.html First and fore mostly, for the poster of that comment North isn't for Hausa/Fulani alone, and he should also understand that death is a destination everyone will depart to, its only if Baba is killed intentionally I won't have nothing to say, and I have always had reservations on why Baba travels abroad for treatment and most especially alone he doesn't want the happenings of 1985 reoccur hence he protect himself from the already corrupted doctors and believe me that's what we the youths need at this moment for Baba to continue to rid Naija of corruption and when we no longer believe in his style, we shall all be wise enough to take up power through Young Democratic Party YDP. Jeus: In a quick response to fans calling him corrupt for collecting money for campaigns, Olamide has joined the protest crew, and vows to march with his fellow people on the 5th of February 2017
He posted this picture with the caption:
Olamide Akinsete: FIRST MASSIVE NATIONWIDE PROTESTS ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY, 2017.
A call for good governance. A call for urgent explanation into the reckless economic downturn nationwide. A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary... You have all failed us. We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day.
Where are the recovered looted funds? Why do we still have the executive arms and legislatures still enjoying their salaries and allowances while we hear there's no money to pay workers? Why do we still see ceaseless power failures with no explanation and hope of getting out of it unlike before? Why do we keep seeing peace talks in Niger Delta, fulani heardsmen and ipob without any solutions being reached, while the strategies keeps aggravating the people involved as political leaders stage forums to extort funds in the name of addressing their subjects? Why did we have petrol price rise to 145 for the sake of global oil price crash and removal of subsidy but such price is still being maintained despite significant re-awakening of the oil price from $30/barrel to $56/barrel? Who is to be held accountable for the sudden and continuous hike in price of commodities in the market, where for the first time in history, Nigeria is suddenly selling kerosene at 400 naira per litre as against 50 naira per litre, diesel at 300 naira per litre as against 100 naira per litre and petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira? Yet maintaining the same systems, environment and maybe a lesser money spending government.

Education › Re: Katsina University Religious Regulation: An Illegality Taken Too Far by dantori(m): 6:03pm On Jan 22, 2017 |
A7: The authorities of the Umaru Yar’Ádua University, Katsina, have denied discriminating against Christian students in the approval granted a students religious association to operate on its campus.
The Acting Dean of Student Affairs of the University, Sulaiman Kankara, had in January 17 memo informed students of a new guideline for the registration of clubs and associations in the institution. In the circular, Dr. Kankara indicated that participation in clubs and associations, including departmental ones, were strictly optional and that no student should be compelled to pay dues. He also outlawed the formation of tribal and local government associations in the university. But the controversial part of the memo which made the document to go viral was the dean’s pronouncement that the “Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) is the only religious association allowed to operate on campus.”
After the memo was shared on social media, the university came under ferocious attacks from many Nigerians, with some commentators saying the guideline was part of government’s plot to Islamise Nigeria. But when contacted on Sunday morning, Dr. Kankara said that aspect of the guideline was actually targeted at Islamic groups which were beginning to mushroom on campus, creating division among students of the same faith.
The dean said, “Actually there is one misconception in the memo. But the fact of the matter is that in Umaru Yar’Ádua University, there is no association known as Christian Students Association.
“There is one religious association and subsidiary Islamic students associations like the Tijjanniya Students Movement in Nigeria, Academic Forum of Islamic Movement in Nigeria and many associations like that.
“They are Islamic students association. So what we want is to have a single union which will be the mouthpiece of muslim students and that is the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria.[/b
[b]“It has nothing to do with any Christian group because up till now, I have not received any application requesting registration of Christian Students Society. “And once they do that, we are ready to register them.
Even as at last week, we said the two religious group to be recognised by the university will be the Muslim one and one from Christian side.
“Up till now we are to receive any application for the registration of any Christian association in the university from any group.”

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why We Collect N40k From Nigeria Peace Corps Applicants - National Commandant by dantori(m): 12:43pm On Jan 22, 2017 |
owukpa: The N40, 000 the Nigerian Peace Corps is taking from mostly unemployed youth who seek job placement in the organisation covers the running cost and provision of materials, its National Commandant said on Thursday. Dickson Akor said during a press briefing in Abuja that the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission had investigated the movement as far back as 2004 and cleared it of any wrongdoing. “The ICPC has investigated us in 2004 and established that the money is going towards training materials and we’re not extorting money from the youth,” Mr. Akor said. He added that the Peace Corps also pay instructors to train its members at its training facilities across the country. “We have been holding workshops and training our members and we buy them training materials and also pay honorarium to their lecturers,” Mr. Akor said. “We also pay our existing staff and not a single one of them is earning less than N40, 000 per month even though we’re not getting any support from the government right now.” The comments came hours after the Nigerian Senate and the House of Representatives harmonised the Nigerian Peace Corps Bill to give the group, which had operated as a volunteer organisation for 18 years, government backing. The bill is expected to be forwarded to President Muhammadu Buhari for his assent. Mr. Akor said the organisation would stop charging for services once the bill is signed into law. “Immediately the president assents to this bill, nobody will pay a dime to be trained,” Mr. Akor said. “Nobody will pay any money for registration.” Mr. Akor said the Peace Corps will create employment for the Nigerian youth to “promote the culture of peace” by providing community service and neighbourhood watch for nation building. He said the services are currently not being rendered by the police, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps or any other existing security agencies.

Esseite: Good point, but you are only being a politician.
Railway contracts have always been awarded to non Nigerian companies since time.
Whatever party wins, am only concerned about how fast and well it affects the grassroots.. this same rail project has always been in our budgets since God know when. Would we not see better and faster results when better and wider roads cuts across everywhere while we await the rail project we have always been promised off?
Lets not put the cart before the horse.. When we are satisfied to a reasonble level with our roads we can embark on rail projects
Lagos - ibadan is a wonderful project going on. I travelled to the east for a project, was amazed the at the good road from ore to ebonyi. Does it not serve better in the short run than a 10year rail project which might not eventually come.
Am only reasoning in line with Nigerian dirty politics so as wise and future seeing as you are you didn't read the part where they said paucity of funds has caused it not to progress over time and another part where they said the FG has made its own funds available. To God I hate pessimists. |

zaza999: My wife's attitude is becoming unbearable (not what i can list here)that most time we do have misunderstanding. Agreed that most marriages do have misunderstanding, but there are also some that are devoid of such incessant misunderstanding and are always peaceful and that's what i dream of.
In view of this I have called her severally and talked with her about such an attitude and stubbornness and the need to turn a new leaf, but all to no avail which keep on generating quarrel. This has lead to the point that anytime we had misunderstanding i will stay on my own, and same to her without playing or talking to her, everybody will stay on his or her own and i made up my mind not to have sex with her.
However, no thanks to my high sexual drive that hardly can few days passed that i will break the rule and come back to her and start touching demanding for sex from her. My body has a higher sexual urge, no matter how i control it and she too is so sexy that when i made up my mind not to touch her, after some days, the urge will be too much that even when i leave her in bedroom and went to sleep in another room, I will still come back and fall to her.The urge will be too much that atimes i will be having sleepless night moving up and down to control it, but none.
I intended choosing masturbating instead of making love with her, but on remembering the negative effects of masturbating, i got scared.
She is now using the advantage of my high sexual drive, that no matter how we quarrel and not talking to her, that it wont last long as she is very sure that i cant hold myself but MUST surely come to her for sex, which once done, the misunderstanding automatically resolves itself through the bed.
For me, I don't like it as she doesn't feel remorseful anymore over her attitude.
Please what should i do, or should divorce be the solution? you self must u quarrel wii her buh anyway next time no sleep house go sleep at your friends or hotel and put off phone next morning come home happy and smiling. thank me later |

Curiosity got hold of me and I asked him, how? He said he started masturbation since he was four years old. "My mum has always been dressing up naked before me, I am used to seeing her unclothedness. I am not moved to have sex with her but I always long to see mature ladies naked just the way I see my mum dressing up naked before me. I still remember seeing her unclothedness regularly till I was eight years and my dad do shout on her, 'send this boy out before you dress', but my mum would always reply by saying, 'will my son sleep with me? Stop planting evil thought in his heart'. Anytime I see my mum's naked body, I long to see ladies' naked body. I then went into sex at age 10 and till now I am not free from sex and heavy pornography & masturbation...'
