To begin with how many of the people who applied for are even on this forum? So we can not use the numbers here as a basis for analysis. Anyway. I want to make a suggestion to those of us that are still around. We have NIMC email address, we can all send them emails suggesting/requesting that they publish a list of those called for induction henceforth, it will ease a lot of tension both us and them, they may respond and they may not but at least we would know we have tried.

y dont u guys submit ur name list so dat someone can be compiling them. it will be easier for anyone I mean anybody to help you guys check your name on the list. am 70% sure dat more than 900 have bee called for apl documentation/induction... the last set was dat was just concluded comprised mostly d managers n supervisors. I was in d training hall wen they were having d last slide on d Nimc mandate n NIMS components. after which their documentation started around 3:30pm... while some oda batches are having their induction at d Vines hotel... add those figures together. u can deduce something from that. so state ur names here someone will compile dem together n take to those dat will check it for..fyi another set of induction is coming up next week but it will be for the current staff members who had been working with Nimc ryt from inception. dont ask me wer I got this cos I wont say anything on dat. may God help us all. am also awaiting my deployment letter but am bk home. for nos

Talk Is Cheap: Bros,dey just said dat so dat we can go n give dem time to face the recent induction/training. Cos if dey tell us to resume,dey won't be able to organise and schedule us properly cos of limited hands on deck. What @olakunle said is true. The buses r good to go now,so by monday or so we will be given the latest info. In d process,dey can correct d deployment letter while we r working.

u might b wrong wt dat assertion. if there is no specific call to resume due to issues on d deployment letter I think its better to ask very well. mind u u r d ones waiting for d buses n madam to actually tell u d buses r ready. but you may still check in on monday to confirm the situation of things

Talk Is Cheap: So bottomline,if u want to stay in HQ u can check monday??. My probs is dat,we posted to HQM were given deployment letter and still told to wait. But I guess its becos dey r busy with documentation. So I will advise all dose dat were deployed to HQM and want to start work to show on monday. Becos as for me..na HQ get me on monday oo!!

those guys given HQM r not starting work until de enrollment vans r ready but dey r told to wait for dat. dats wat I think...but who knws for how long dis will be

I was der today but one of dos dat documented us said until d current documentation ends our case cant b treated. n more so dey expect us all to av travelled. the man said monday ia not sure as someone speculated earlier on. the man even said dat madam has told dem to call those who r interested in d HQ to resume while dey deal wt d rest to b deployed. the truth of d matter is we were not deployed in d first plc everyone just thought dat d HQ is our bus stop for now. dats d latest o. if u want resume at d HQ if u dont want u fit travel o.....but wat am thinking is dat if madam didn't broadcast dis information its still speculative n inconclusive. wat next dan to travel.

Gooder234: @Danly & Shiloh, this redeployment stuff don worry me oh, but i had no option, that was why i left abj last week. I am now @ home waiting 4 nimc. If they call us, i will go back but i can‘t be waiting in abj without knowing the exact day they will call us. It‘s nt easy @ all my guys. Good mrng

it will be paid but u knw NIMC is full of surprises dey may pay everything after mar next yr. but it shouldnt b dat long at least november so dat cn favor us all especially dos posted to HQ

y dont u resort to using one of dis ORM frameworks its safer n faster..... one of such is oracle toplink n hibernate or better still go for apache derby db cos packaging mysql wt ur apl might give u problems even if it works....

sojiformular: Are u a NIMC staff? I hav a friend dat got an offer as a primary school teacher (university edu degree) in d federal civil service with salary of 49k written an her APL. After 3 months, she received a total pay of 265k meanin 88k per month after all deductions. As far as 57k is written on d APL, then the package will be close to 90k or more. Make ur findings and stop discouraging others. I have abt 3 colleagues that we met in training dat resigned frm d banking sector to "HUG NIMC OFFER" . I am sure they are not all foolish to take such decision.

110k sef....ppl will never learn to look beyond the physical until dey lose der portion due to shortsightedness...

sojiformular: bro, dat amt is d basic pay. when allowance join it, it will be beta. if u hav visited Nimc hq, u will see loads of cars. small and big. 57k per month cannot buy such cars. Anoda thing is at u are sure of promotion in 12 to 18 months tym, u are sure to close work by 5pm, no saturday or sunday wrk, no one encroaches on ur public holidays or annual leave. Hav u ever guess why so many pple reduce their age to remain in service? This is a lifetym opportunity, I will advise u grab it wit two hands and kneel in appreciation to God. its my opinion as a well wisher

but I dont think what she said is conclusive to make any decision with.....more so I think they are contemplating on redeploying some of us probably that might be the issue which I think should be sorted out by this weekend.. but I wont advice anyone to travel at this point in tine until its confirmed dat it will a great deal of tine before they decide on a course of action.

guy dont walk by sight there is more to that salary than what you are seeing. I wont go beyond that but I believe a word is enough.....

before going into mobile development it'd better you think of knowing the basics of the programming lang. u intend using. to your first question, you have to compile your slice codes into byte codes bfore running the program. after setting your class path properly u only use "java YourClassFile". you do not need to append d file extension like .class to the classfile.... have you installed jdk? is so go to yr installation directory and go to jdk1.5&*>bin. copy the url location of d bin folder n append ir to ur path environmental settings on the cpanel>systems>advanced settings>click environmental variable settings>select system e. variables and edit d 'paths' environmental variable.

Rexxygreen: I want to clearly state here that 57k for a basic salary is a gud pay. Because by the time ur allowances are added u should be getting above 100k. There is no way an employee precisely in a government parrastatal will be working without allowances. A friend of mine's basic isn't up to 57k but with other allawances goes home with a hundred and Ten k monthly. So guys cheer up until u get ur pay slip, I assure u, u shall be amazed at the sight of ur Slip............Peace

deasy: Are had this particular challenge too...just google "hotspot shield" and download the free trial on your system and make you are using window 7 or vista because this apps will not work on window XP. Hotspot shield will enable you to use foreign IP's and you will be able to create a gig as if you are having a Nigerian IP. No
