MR UNN: I went to National library yesterday for ISBN of one of my books. I was told to pay 3,500 for ISBN and 2,000 for processing fee making it a total of 5,500. Is this right? I need your advice

the last time I got mine it was 3750 (3500 for the isbn & 250 for processing) in march 2012 precisely, things might have changed bt u may order for it online it will be cheap for like 3200/ one isbn if u order for a pack of 10. u dont knw if u might need them later on.

braimahjak: what did you create the executable with?

I used exe4j to create the executable. meanwhile I added the jar file, the third-,party jar files in a lib folder and my derby database folder in the executable.
I hv tried to edit the persistence.xml dburl element bt it didn't worked but am thinking it might something to do with my class path. I used ${base.dir} to be my root working directory where the database resides bt its still the same story.

I used toplink framework for a Q&A software, I used. network version of d java derby database but right now I need to package it wt d executable bt the database is not visible to the executable pls wat may likely cause this though I used da jdbc url in my persistence.xml- jdbc:derby://localhost:1527/JmbDb;create=true; n I included d database in my class path. ds actually worked for another payroll software I did bt has not worked with this Q&A software n this wont allow the software to run on another system hw cn I resolve this inconsistency?

Jeffahead: What version of Derby are you using? Earlier versions of Derby like 10.0 contain bug that sound like what you are experiencing. I believe it was fixed in version 10.2.1.6

it cant b like dat brother. if u r using jdbc transactions statements u should use APP.login_table if login table is ur database table u r 'selecting' from. remove dos quotes. n btw u hvnt posted ur codes here for ppl to c wer u got it wrong n for ur information if u get it ryt, n u r using netbeans it might still not retrieve anything into d resultset object but it will later on as u try it. I hv experienced dis many times but it works eventually.

its very cool guys keep it up. I once did a desktop version of this initiative with java & ORM frameworks Oracle toplinks to be specific and swing though I used derby as my back end it will be outstanding if you keep it with those features but am not well versed in python but its all cool.

in your query string where you have 'Information' dats where I cn spot a problem. change.your query statement to d ff:

String query="INSERT into mytable values"+"('insert d values with comma');
I will suggest u use prepareStatement interface instead of Statement cos Statement 'interface is not as dynamic as prepareStatement at run time so also u cn specify your values dynamically at run time with prepareStatement objects.

so also a quote is missing as oyewale mentioned above.

there could be a lot of reasons for that but in your own case I will ask you the following just answer them so as to knw where you got it missing.
1. are u developing a desktop gui app or a web application.
2. why did u choosing mysql though there is no stable embedded mysql database wrapper you cn use to create embedded mysql db but there are better alternatives which are java derby, SQLITE, n a host of odas.
3. what source code hv u tried which is not working though I doubt it if u have any.
4. ClassNotFoundException is indicative of d fact dat d external library dat contains ur mysql driver is missing from the class path n its has not been included in d project properties... so answer those questions when you r free.... I might as well suggest u use ORM frameworks like Oracle toplinks but u might b ready for that but your answers to the above questions will go along way.

what are the likely symptoms you see if you have staph, and does it mean watery sperm cant impregnate irrespective of whether the sperm count is normal wt good motility or not.
