If every residence in Lagos in uniquely identifiable does this not greatly address many many challenges faced? will this not benefit many many sectors such as postal delivery and the many opportunities it presents (online shopping, cash on delivery, etc), banking, etc. Does it not mean you can confidently give someone just your address and be sure they will find you. Does this not mean that in future, on registering for anything when u put down your address, it can be easily verified that this indeed is a genuine address...does this not have implications for crime control? Does this not mean that instead of LASTMA or the police or whoever stopping you on the road to ask you for bribes, they know where u live and instead send a ticket to ur house.And if you dont respond you can easily be traced I could go on for pages on pages on the possible advantages of this scheme. Yet some of you are complaining about the billions that will be spent on this worthwhile project. Billions that woulnt have reached your side nevertheless.
How can you people be against progress for the sake of maintaining status quo? Yet we are quick to complain about the dearth of infrastructure in this country.

Any sensible leaders would of made sure that there was a specialized prison set up on one of those thousands of deserted, well isolated islands located in the heart of the Niger Delta basin somewhere for them, and these guys placed under JTF 24/7 Guantanamo Bay style security watch. They should of been subjected to constant, daily interrogation by SSS agents.

There wont be any drones touching ground in Nigeria. The average Drone has an ability to fly over 400 miles to a target, stay in the sky over that target for over 16 hours, and then fly the 400 miles back to base. This means the they have more than enough fuel to be flow off of an American ship stationed in the Gulf go deep into Northern Nigerian territory and stay out there for hours, hit a target and return back to the ship with no problem.

Not possible. The US does not share such information. The CIA at current definitely has agents and informants crawling, and satellites scanning all over Nigeria gathering information, they send that information to CIA headquarters where it is organized and put together to achieve an objective, once things are in line the information is sent to the American NSA who intern looks over it, and if seen as satisfactory, he then turns the information over to the American president who then makes the decision to act or not on the information.

Once an affirmed presidential decision is established, orders are given to the appropriate armed forces branch and or agency, who in turn execute the action. Very rarely does the US gov. alert a nation as to their plans on when they'll be striking a target in their nation, they just do it.

In the case of Nigeria; knowing how compromised its security networks and gov. has become, there is no way in hell that the US will give them any iota of a clue as to what they know about the whereabouts of certain individuals and when they plan on killing them.
