Battle Rapping is a very popular creation of the Black-American youth culture, in which has spread the world over and grown astronomically round the world in popularity. So in the spirit of this Black History month. I'd like to demonstrate how this art form is done. Now one thing you all must remember is that this art is a spin off of another famous Black-American youth art form known as "The Dozens" in which involves dissing on each other all in the name of fun and entertainment, and is not to be taken personal, the only difference is that battling is done in lyrical form. I believe the figures and acts given, but I have to agree with the point you've made about wanting to see actual footage of the raid. You can go on to youtube or LiveLeak and see footage of nearly every single battle American and British soldiers were in in Iraq and Afghanistan, and many of the police and FBI raids taken place here in the US and many other places.

It's very common practice now for at least one soldier or officer involved in a heavy raid or battle of some sort, to film parts of the events, and most certainly to obtain aftermath footage, to present to the public. It'll be nice if some Nigerian soldiers and Police officers would begin to take it upon themselves to film thes incidents with there Cell Phones or other small devices and post them online, or at least present them to the New Agencies to air.

Nah, I've been to Africa several times and have mingled very broadly within the African community here in the US, and I know for a fact that MOST here in the US and the VAST, VAST majority back in Africa, see us as little more than another "Yankee" who they can possibly get some money off of, or some other favor. Beyond that, they feel little kin to us, and like most other immigrant groups here in this nation, they love many of our cultural influences like, music, dress, lingo and general "swag" or "style" as many call it, but they generally, as a whole, do really like us as a people, and that's just the way it is.

It's kinda odd. To most of them we are Mutts, half breeds, cultureless, they want no indepth connection to us slave descendants, and this is fine with me, and thus this the reason for the proposal I presented. Why attempt to force people to see things your way? No need to be desperate with insistence when you could simply be cordial with compromise.

It's sad to see good product go to waste.

Hey, I'm only going with the flow presented to me by the Africans I've encountered on here and other forums, and in person, who've pointedly made it clear that we (AA) and they (Africans) are not brothers, but rather simply two totally different people whom "just so happen to share the same color skin and extended lineage, and that's fine with me.

Thus I deal as I've been dealt. Funny thing is, many an African have personally told me that they even had a problem with we "Black Americans" addressing ourselves as African-Americans, in regard to we not being "Real Africans", to them we were just Black-Americans or simply Americans. 

That is fine with me as well. So I'm addressing the issue from the angle of me being an American of some significant West African descent, whom is brainstorming on the most applicable way in which we "Black Americans" could access a nation in west or Central African in the honor of reclamation via our past ancestors. 

I'm not interest in mixing or mingling with Africans beyond formal trade between their nations and that in which would be established on the continent by the "Black American" returnees. I don't see how this thought process can be seen as condescending. God bless the child that has his own, my African friend. Sorry, but most BA would not wont to go to Africa to live under the rule of Africans, but rather instead to go and form their own separate nation independent from any African group. This was attempted in the creation of Liberia and succeeded for a while, but do to poor prior planing, it eventually lead to civil disorder of the Natives toward the ruling BA's, and the rest is history.

Now in saying this, I'm not stating that all of the native whom preside within the assigned lands given over to the BA must leave the area, but rather that those that stay acknowledge that by staying they are in turn stating that they are willfully agreeing to living under total and unchallangable Federal rule of the BA population, though of course,  unlike the Liberian case, their rights short of government leadership will be constitutionally secured equivocally to that of their BA counterparts. 

Humm, in exchange for living in what would become the fastest developing, most stable, prosperous and wealthiest nation on the African continent by far,  I don't think such an agreement would be problem for most of them. I mean imagine going from living in this:

If you look in any African American neighborhood in US you will notice that the economy is usually around the following types of services - gas station and corner store, laundromat, cash checking place, bill payments and payday loans, fast tax filing and returns, hair, nail and saloon, barber shop, hotels and motels, pawn shops, restaurant and churches. 

Out of all these it is only the churches, restaurants, the hair sallon and the barbaer shop that is owned by the black people.  The gas station and corner store, laundromat, cash checking, bill payment, pay day loan, tax filing, hair and nail shop as well pawn shops are wholly owned and controlled by foreigners.  This is today!  It wasnt like that at all in the 60s.  Blacks controlled most of the economy in their hoods. . . except a few in the hands of Jews.  When the Jews started to leave they sold ownerships to the Indians and Pakistanis.  In fact blacks businesses started going bankrupt and they sold out their control to the new comers.  The damage had a lot to do with narcotic drugs and crime into the hood.

Now, take that concept and overlay it into Africa.  You get the exact same outcome!  Our drug is not narcotics. . . . we are addicted to corruption and self interest.  We kicked colonial masters out and they were replaced by well educated and meaningful leaders with great vision. . . but we killed them off one at atime until there is nothing left to guide us and in that state of vulnerability and loss. . . a new master stepped in and filled the gap.  Now we have new colonialists.   So your picture of Indian, Chinese, Koreans controlling our continent is accurate. 

What I mean by vulnerable is to say that you cannot operate a mini America within Africa, you will kill of your designated zone if you do that.  You must by nature of preservation interact and partner with rest of Africa for viability.  Africans today fight 100yrs old wars on disputed territorial ownership.  So to get a safeguard against a claim on your land. . . . there has to be a protectorate that all parties signing the trearty agree to.   This will have to be done at an institutionalized level to succeed.  The authority responsible to carry that out is addicted to the corruption fed by chinese and korea and america and eruurope. . . . Africa is high on its own crack! 

Approaching this question in the alternate path of individual sponsorship and adoption removes the risks of that communal vulnerability and reduces it to individual level.  The damage, if any, is far smaller and the gains are far greater.

Right now today Chinese, American and European companies practically own swaths of African territory the size of Whole American states, with the sole intent of stripping it of its resources and leaving the aftermath mess for the locals to deal with, and little to nothing is done about that, and yet you think it'll be an issue for say a group of 2Mill AA to take procession of a chunk of land of equivalent size as a territory to simply form a new nation upon? I highly doubt it'll take as much effort as you seem to believe it will.

I believe that there ought to be a cultural adoption programme in Africa for re-absorbing African Americans interested in relocating and re-integrating back into their motherland.  Unfortunately, Africa is drugged. . . she is on crack!  So an institutionalized remedy can best be forgotten. There is an alternative.

Private and individual persons may exist who would love to adopt an African American as their child or relative and invite you to come to the motherland and live with them.  There is big sacrifice on both ends and it will take patience and time before such partnership begin to yield fruit for both.  The conveniences in America is absent in Africa. . . . the settler will be impacted most and would be the one transformed by default into the host family and community customs.

I and most other AA would not take part in any plan in which seeks to have a mass of AA integrate into an African nation; it's been attempted before and didn't work out, primarily do to personality clash. Let's face it, we AA are no longer Africans, but rather simply a new breed of Negro, and thus our return should be granted with a new Nation all our own.

It'll be nice if an West and or West-Central African nation would carve out a feasible chunk of territory, say equivalent in size to that of the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey combined, and grant it the the AA community as a territory in which to structure a new nation upon. That is what's needed. Anything less would only be minimally successful.

Well even though I've already shared my ancestry on this site many times over, I don't mind doing it again. Well humm, I'm a Black-American of primarily Igbo descent going all the way back to about 1619 in this nation, I'm a 15th generation descendant of an Igbo man and woman brought to the Virginia Colony, via the Jamestown Settlement.

They came as indentured servants, and from that point on my family has maintained a pretty steady Igbo descendant lineage in regard to our African based blood line. Now also have Cherokee, German and Scottish lineage as well. Well this is the watered down version, the more in depth version is much too long to discuss on here for the umpteenth time.

They should of gotten Angela Basset to play the role. Her look and style of acting actually fits the role.
