I'm Black-American, a descendant of Slaves and immigrants, and it seems as though I can trace my ancestry back further than most of you Africans. ![]() |

Why is it that Nigeria has a National force, instead of individual State and City forces? Having one force in which answers to the Central government is ridiculously ineffective and wasteful, as has beef proven thus far. While the gov. is making its way into decentralizing the nation, perhaps they should consider eliminating the subsidy on the Policing of the nation, by decentralizing it, and allowing each state to form their own Police forces, as well as allowing the nation's cities to form their own if they can afford to. The Central gov. can then use the the funds it spends on the NPF, to fund the creation of a much needed policing body similar to that of the FBI in which will handle only Federal criminal cases, much like that in which groups like Boka Haram present. In the US, BH would be investigated, tracked down and eliminated by the well funded, trained and experienced agents of the FBI, in which even has authority over the State and city based police agencies, and can prosecute them if they are not performing appropriately. The problem with a Federal based police network, is that there is little room for checks and balance in the security network of a nation with it, and this leads to grave openings for mass corruption and pore performance. |
LOL that's disgraceful, you African's nations are despicable excuses for nations. That building will be bugged to the gills. |
emmke:Even if the area that is attacked a Muslim/Northern ethnic area, and most of those killed Muslim/Northern ethnics? Remember that most of those killed in Kano were Northerners and Muslim. |
phrankar:Announcing the number in which they've killed will not make a difference to groups like this, because in their ideology, just one killed is considered reason enough to go Ape and do more carnage. |
diluminati:What exactly are you expecting him to do, beyond that in which he's already done? He is the president not god, all he can do is insure that proper police coverage is placed in areas where sound intelligence reports state that BH elements are most likely to be and or will most likely to target. The best and most sound way to target groups like this is to be informed of and counter their moves, before they execute them, and you can only due this if you are able to effectively infiltrate their outfit and closes contacts with informants. The President, has seen to it that American and Israeli intelligence specialist were brought to the nation to aid in the retraining and guidance of the SSS and Police, so to better prepare them for the task. The more they work together the better the Nigerian intelligence networks will become, but it does take time. Their is only so much a president can do, it takes the professional efforts of every man and women in a place of social, political and security authority to bring this threat under control. Yes, JEG has made some mistakes in the early run, in containing this group, but so has his past two predecessors, so it's not really right to place the blame of how out of control BH has become solely on his lap. To do so is the equivalent of placing the blame of the US's massive debt, financial waste in Iraq and Afghanistan, and slumped economy Solely on Obama's lap, when in reality much of the problems before him were handed to him by his predecessors to be resolves by him. |
amaham:Nope, it doesn't work like that, it's a package deal, either you take it all, or you get nothing. |
I'll have the SSS investigate those Mullas or chiefs or whatever they call themselves. They sound mighty suspicious to me. |
Many of you are wishing upon stars here, in your desires to have salaries payed back and all that other stuff, what's done is done, and what you should be wishing and protesting out on the streets for now, is that the dilapidated structures in which allowed these clowns to do what they had done in the first place will be torn down and reconstructed in a more secure fashion, so to disallow and or make it much more difficult to happen again. Don't live in the doom of yesteryear, strive for the creation of a better new year and beyond. This is a wonderful starting point. |
PAGAN 9JA: You're a damn fool, continue on entertaining me with your words of wisdom, my servant. |
diluminati:I think any person willing to give in to terror and bribes is not leadership material, and thus you are not leadership material, as you've shown clearly that you will easily fold when things get tough. That is what I think and what I know for a fact, Darling. |
diluminati: Yeah ok, why don't you leave the thinking to the competent folks, sweetheart? |
nakedwire:Now that's one sorry azz trifling mentality right there. |

ode remo:Exactly, and that is the thing that really gets to me. Why must other people always bring you crap when you can make the crap yourself and distribute it to your people? This is the big difference between an African mindset and an Asian and or Western mindset; Africans like to find ways to skate around a problem, while most Asian and western people seek to eliminate it and profit from it, and this is how they've become so successful in history. |
MsDarkSkin:Humm, I guess you were attempting to say that I'm the one who's a Curry goat. Humm, well how original of you, Jamakata girl. By the way, your father must of had some very strong genes, because you look a lot like your average AA girl, and not much like most Jamaican females I've seen. |
No one's going to comment? |
chas0x01:LOL @ this Jokester, talking pure gibberish. Show your proof of this tail, because I've got mountains of credible proof in which clearly shows that we AA are most significantly of Igbo, Senegambian and Some significant Angolan ethnic group's descent. Yoruba ranks VERY, VERY low in our genetic make up, and this can clearly be seen in our general features. LOADS of us look a lot like Igbo and other related SE Nigerian groups as well as well as various Angolan and Senegambian ethnics, while you'd be hard pressed to find an AA who looks much like your average Yoruba. |
Exactly. Here in the US, the pump prices rise and fall with no notice every other day with no problem. |
Ignorance. |
MsDarkSkin:Whoa, keep my name out your mouth, you curry goat. I don't think I've even touched this topic, yet. ![]() |
goldng:Who is "They"? I hope you're not talking about the gov., because they aren't going to be building anything. It's the private inc. in which will flock in now, due to the deregulation of the market, that'll build them. |
cycober:You people are as Thick as a Redwood, and mindless as one too. No wonder you'all "cant get right". I just explained to you'all for the THIRD DAMN TIME, why ish doesn't work like that, and how in fact it actually does work. What the hell is wrong with you people? ![]() |
