First, congratulations on getting your visa!!!

I know Qatar is a fave for most people but the most expensive as well. You’ll only have a stopover at Doha. I’ll let the gurus in the house answer the other questions as I don’t know much myself.

Please I’ll like to ask you some questions regarding your application, you can drop your email if you don’t mind. Thanks a lot.

Ollarh:
Visa alert!!!!
God alone be praise forever .
Have been a silent reader here even way before I got my visa but now I thank God Almighty that I’ll finally be an Australian immigrant .
Pls guys I’ll be needing y’all support to make an easy transition to my dream country.
So here are my few questions to those that just recently went that route :

1. Pls what is the best airline to travel with no more than two stops cause am trying to avoid long waiting period at the stop overs so as to ease the journey because I am pregnant?

2. Pls are there any documents or papers I’ll need to take with me to probably show at different boarders or airports to avoid one delay or the other?

3. Pls guys what are the allowed food items that I can take to avoid unnecessary and excessive load.

4. Pls how can I easily get a good accommodation near my campus as my school is Deakin university burhood campus Melbourne Australia?

My intake is this trimester 2, which started already on Monday and so I’ll be traveling first week of August by the special grace of God. So pls if you’d be in my school this trimester or know someone already there, pls kindly link us up for easier settlement cause I wouldn’t mind a shared apartment.

Thank y’all so much for always helping on this great platform, pls if you have valid answers for any of my questions pls and pls be kind enough to help out a lone pregnant traveler biko as this will go a long way in easing me of lots of stress while on the very long journey.

DreamlandAgency:
Hi Darida,

1. Your sister and/or mum can be your sponsor. You can also be part of the sponsors.

2. Yes, if the document is in your name or husband.

Thank you dreamlandagency
Will the document be enough to serve as GTE for both myself and husband? Or what else can we add?

Hello dear nairalanders, please I need help.
I am a married woman with no kids yet and I intend to apply for a masters program in Australia. I also plan to travel with my husband.
My husband is a dentist while I am doing business at the moment.
So I have the following questions.
1. Is it advisable for my sister or mum to be the sponsor or it’s better for the POF to be lodged directly into my account since I am going with my spouse?

2. Can document of transfer of property serve as ties to home country?

Thank you

But not to worry, slowly but surely, we are almost there. 9 months journey is too small compared to the forever we get to spend with our babies, so hang in there, it will soon be over. And be strong. God is our strength.

How's third trimester going?
I hope we are taking our drugs, even if it's not daily
I hope we are already doing our baby shopping? especially the hospital list, please let's try and start now before we become too strong to do it. Now that we still have strength.

I hope we are eating healthy too, I won't even lie, I detest fruits now, but I dey try, maybe once in a week or two weeks sef atimes

What about the TT injection and anti malaria drugs? Shey we are following up? Checking our pcv and blood pressure? And attending our antenatal .

Please do exercise as much as you can, take a walk in the evening , it will make you feel better, and about the heat, shower as much as you can, naked yourself in your house for fresh air grin

We are almost almost through, we are almost there, be strong comrades. We shall all smile at the end of this journey.
The lord will see us through ijn, there shall be no still birth ijn. We shall all be strong this month, no complications for us and for our LO's ijn. And I cover us all with the blood of Jesus.

And finally, let's be prayerful, wake up at night and can't sleep again? Pray. Say positive things and affirmations to your LO's future.

UyaiIncomparabl:

Why not try "Comfort" laundry wash? It's not a detergent, though. Smells heavenly too.

Okay, is it the same they refer to as Fabric conditioner?

I don't think there's any specially made Detergents for baby clothes in Naija. Sunlight, Omo and Ariel are good options and you can decide to iron you baby's clothes after drying them if you don't trust the effects of those chemicals on the outfits...

Thanks for the suggestion mama, grateful.
