charlesemeka85: Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Joseph Oluwabusola has paid the price for committing his international future to Nigeria after he was released by Premier League club Bournemouth.
The 2003-born glovesman has been listed as a player of Bournemouth by the Nigeria Football Federation at the ongoing U17 World Cup in Brazil but in reality he has not been on the books of the Cherries since July 2019.
Bournemouth opted not to offer Oluwabusola a scholarship because they could not properly assess him due to his frequent trips to Abuja to train with the Golden Eaglets since 2018.
The 16-year-old was in Abuja for several weeks training with the Nigeria U17s before traveling with the team to Niger for the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers for the Africa U17 Cup of Nations and was also absent from Bournemouth during the U17 AFCON in Tanzania.
Oluwabusola finally made his competitive debut for Nigeria in the Golden Eaglets 2-1 loss to Australia on Friday and gave a good account of himself despite conceding two goals.
Some Premier League clubs including Watford are understood to be mulling over a move to sign the free agent Maybe he isn't good enough? |

charlesemeka85: U20 abi 3lions? U re saying this out of so much pain hahahahahahahaha.
Even if he get capped at u21 level we can still have him. Today lookman is on the verge of playing for Nigeria in the nearest future after playing for the English u20 and 21 team. Uduokhai and Ehizibue are also interested as well.
If Eze doesn't turn out for us it won't bring the world to an end but since he is yet to feature for the 3 lions in an official game we can still get him. So enough of the negativity abeg Wow, the small talk wey I talk na im enter your body wey you con quote me twice Chill bro, we move on without him |

He will make his decision at the end of the day and I forsee him turning out for England. We better prepare our minds for this |

See how difficult it was for the almighty Lakers to get back to glory, not to talk of one small team from San Francisco that just managed to win some titles. Lol. It could take decades before they win another trophy, let alone be relevant. You're really a biased person. I used to think you are unbiased and objective but this has exposed you. Kai |

asunmoGGMU: The way we run the university system in Nigeria won't allow for development. I understand they are somewhat autonomous and they know how to perfect their dirty paths provided government is sending in an audit team or something. They cannot be caught off-guard. Most of our universities are just useless and unproductive glorified secondary schools. Yes, I graduated from one. But truth must be told. And I think this should be done in an impromptu manner. And I am sure these auditors will be bribed as well |

PoliticalWitch: Poor electiricity is due to the fact that we aren't paying enough in revenue to sustain 24/7 light supply
So the DISCOS and GENCOS don't have enough cash to supply power. (And they now supply areas where people pay regularly better than other areas. Someone high up in the DISCO hierachy told a relative of mine that DISCOS allegedly now supply 'priority areas')
On the water and other supply issues, the truth is, we are not paying enough in bills to have decent water supply.
And then we turn around and expect government to do all these things from a budget (before looting) of 22billion pounds (just to show how scanty that budget is, the UK police spends 12billion pounds annually)..when in relaity, we need a budget of 100billion pounds.
And we keep on eelcting governments whose agenda is simply to share money. Not to make polices that would increase the amount of money we have, or to agressively fight corruption.
It is a good thing that these students are protesting. But at the same time, many of them won;t accept a fee increase, won't accept something like council taxes of N40000 and above, won't accept increase in power charges, as well as deregulation of the oil downstream sector...which would lead to investment in power supply indirectly and more revenue for the government.
They want things to be like it was when our gradparents went to school...back when the number of students in university was far far less than it is now. In 1975, students had better welfare than they do now...and their number was less than 40000 nationwide. Now we have about 3-5 million students, and the budget is decreasing. Oga, that's a lie. For those being charged based on estimated billing, tthey pay through their noses. Imagine paying 10,000 monthly for a mini-flat and not seeing up to 6 hrs electricity per day. Recently, massive corruption was uncovered in the power sector where over 30 individuals which include senior civil servants, contractors and past governors were said to have looted amounts running into billions of dollars. Contractors get paid and don't complete their work or they do nothing at all. I guess, that is also the fault of hardworking Nigerians right? |

Renhuub: Tribalism and Nepotism has destroyed my great alma mater. These days electricity is now a luxury. Every darn thing attracts fees these days. The last great VC was Oshodin every other person after him was a bloody criminal. As for Oramwense how he's not under arrest still baffles me. That man ran the school like his business venture I think the problem is everything starts and ends here on social media. If anybody has hard evidence against the man with facts and figures and they submit or table same to EFCC, they will gladly swing into action. Until then, the thieves will continue to loot (I am sorry to say) |

Bbbwings: I knew it It-is-not-peculiar-to-Nigeria crew member Scandinavian countries susidize education for their citizens I agree with you bro.Especially at your last statement We are more blessed with Natural and Mineral Resources than most of these Scandinavian countries if not all of them (yea, you heard me right, all of them). We have not been harnessing these resources. And from the crude oil industry, what we see is massive theft and corruption. The other day (last week thereabouts) the EFCC uncovered massive looting in the power industry where one individual cornered over 2 billion Naira (or even 20 billion) to himself after collecting the money, he didn't honour the contract he was paid to do. Now, why would power failure not be persistent? |

KarnBarlow: Billy Joe has been ducking people left and right at middleweight. Cherry picked and went up to super middleweight and got himself an easy belt. Ask him why he didnt fight callum smith not canelo especially since the fight can be made more easily. Look at canelos resume, hes never backed away from a challenge. His last fight was a title fight about daniel jacobs who is no easy task and he handled him. Billy Joe stands no chance! Okay, I am beginning to see your point now but Callum is another monster ooo |

KarnBarlow: Canelo Kovalev and UFC 244 this weekend. This is friggin dope!
My predictions
Canelo def Kovalev by UD
Garcia def Duno by UD
UFC 244 Masvidal def. Diaz by UD Gastellum def. Till by TKO Luque def. Wonderboy by UD Lewis def. Ivanov by KO Gillespie def. Lee by UD Walker def Anderson by KO (Hardest to predict cause Walker hasn't faced top opposition but i will just jump on the hype train, though anderson may try to dry hump him to a win) Canelo is a damn cunning opportunist He knows kovalev is way older and well past his prime. Slower too (obvious in his last bout vs ward). If canelo really wanted to prove himself as P4P king, why not fight Callum Smith or Billy Joe Saunders. Now, these guys would have been a real competition |
