Whenever someone mentions morals, some people assume na who no dey thief dey morally sound. Immorality is vast This is not entirely true. While I agree with you that immorality is the order of the day in Nigeria, I know of upright people that ate living quietly and are comfortable. The problem with many Nigerians is greed. Few are content with what they are able to acquire legally and through honest means |

komekn: I don't like making unsubstantiated allegations. But from my personal experience of football in the UK l find it intrinsically corrupt.
The amount of agreement and players transfers that are more concerned with " What's in it for me" exceeds the deals done strictly on players perfomances by a large margin.
I find neatly all football managers have preferred agents sometimes those agents are thier children and or brothers or very close friends. Essentially without those agents you are not getting in.
The only manager that l can personally vouch for that has a zero tolerance for deals is Chris Houghton. That doesn't mean there are any but he's the only one l know and l know a few.
Now if l transfer that deduction to Nigeria your allegations can not be ignored even if they can't be proven.
Now this is not an upstanding media outlet in my opinion. But this is a manager very quick to forgive a very senior coach caught red handed in bribery for positions in the SE. Add to that l know the NFF and my guy Amaju.
So l really believe there are a lot of unanswered questions, like they say " No smoke without Fire "

charlesemeka85: Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Joseph Oluwabusola has paid the price for committing his international future to Nigeria after he was released by Premier League club Bournemouth.
The 2003-born glovesman has been listed as a player of Bournemouth by the Nigeria Football Federation at the ongoing U17 World Cup in Brazil but in reality he has not been on the books of the Cherries since July 2019.
Bournemouth opted not to offer Oluwabusola a scholarship because they could not properly assess him due to his frequent trips to Abuja to train with the Golden Eaglets since 2018.
The 16-year-old was in Abuja for several weeks training with the Nigeria U17s before traveling with the team to Niger for the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers for the Africa U17 Cup of Nations and was also absent from Bournemouth during the U17 AFCON in Tanzania.
Oluwabusola finally made his competitive debut for Nigeria in the Golden Eaglets 2-1 loss to Australia on Friday and gave a good account of himself despite conceding two goals.
Some Premier League clubs including Watford are understood to be mulling over a move to sign the free agent Maybe he isn't good enough? |

Even if he get capped at u21 level we can still have him. Today lookman is on the verge of playing for Nigeria in the nearest future after playing for the English u20 and 21 team. Uduokhai and Ehizibue are also interested as well.
If Eze doesn't turn out for us it won't bring the world to an end but since he is yet to feature for the 3 lions in an official game we can still get him. So enough of the negativity abeg Wow, the small talk wey I talk na im enter your body wey you con quote me twice Chill bro, we move on without him |

asunmoGGMU: The way we run the university system in Nigeria won't allow for development. I understand they are somewhat autonomous and they know how to perfect their dirty paths provided government is sending in an audit team or something. They cannot be caught off-guard. PoliticalWitch: Poor electiricity is due to the fact that we aren't paying enough in revenue to sustain 24/7 light supply
So the DISCOS and GENCOS don't have enough cash to supply power. (And they now supply areas where people pay regularly better than other areas. Someone high up in the DISCO hierachy told a relative of mine that DISCOS allegedly now supply 'priority areas')
On the water and other supply issues, the truth is, we are not paying enough in bills to have decent water supply.
And then we turn around and expect government to do all these things from a budget (before looting) of 22billion pounds (just to show how scanty that budget is, the UK police spends 12billion pounds annually)..when in relaity, we need a budget of 100billion pounds.
And we keep on eelcting governments whose agenda is simply to share money. Not to make polices that would increase the amount of money we have, or to agressively fight corruption.
It is a good thing that these students are protesting. But at the same time, many of them won;t accept a fee increase, won't accept something like council taxes of N40000 and above, won't accept increase in power charges, as well as deregulation of the oil downstream sector...which would lead to investment in power supply indirectly and more revenue for the government.
They want things to be like it was when our gradparents went to school...back when the number of students in university was far far less than it is now. In 1975, students had better welfare than they do now...and their number was less than 40000 nationwide. Now we have about 3-5 million students, and the budget is decreasing. Oga, that's a lie. For those being charged based on estimated billing, tthey pay through their noses. Imagine paying 10,000 monthly for a mini-flat and not seeing up to 6 hrs electricity per day. Recently, massive corruption was uncovered in the power sector where over 30 individuals which include senior civil servants, contractors and past governors were said to have looted amounts running into billions of dollars. Contractors get paid and don't complete their work or they do nothing at all. I guess, that is also the fault of hardworking Nigerians right? |

Renhuub: Tribalism and Nepotism has destroyed my great alma mater. These days electricity is now a luxury. Every darn thing attracts fees these days. The last great VC was Oshodin every other person after him was a bloody criminal. As for Oramwense how he's not under arrest still baffles me. That man ran the school like his business venture I think the problem is everything starts and ends here on social media. If anybody has hard evidence against the man with facts and figures and they submit or table same to EFCC, they will gladly swing into action. Until then, the thieves will continue to loot (I am sorry to say) |

We have not been harnessing these resources. And from the crude oil industry, what we see is massive theft and corruption. The other day (last week thereabouts) the EFCC uncovered massive looting in the power industry where one individual cornered over 2 billion Naira (or even 20 billion) to himself after collecting the money, he didn't honour the contract he was paid to do. Now, why would power failure not be persistent? |
