Good question. The day we will hear this charlatan visited a hospital to receive treatment, that is when it'll be confirmed that there's nothing like a prophet anywhere. If your god has anything to tell someone, what is stopping him/her from communicating directly? Bunch of fraudsters parading as god of men. Scientists will predict catastrophes and make serious plans to subvert it. These conscienless idiots will predict doom only to bask in the inner happiness of purported impending disaster and use same to gain points from their gullible followers. I don't know why the mountebank isn't behind bars already for the collapse of that building. Shameless liar. |

"Did America achieved greatness by emphasising on vocational trainings on how to make shoe polish, bake cake, produce detergents, event decorations , frying akara and establishment of football viewing centres? Did Britain get it right by teaching her youth how to start a beer palour and salon businesses or by ensuring technological dynamism? I wondered if it is mere phone repair training was what brought China among world's mobile phone producers. Over and over again, I see entrepreneurship and vocational education as a scam."
Interesting. I thought i was the only one tired of all that celebration of entrepreneurship. I don't know how everyone has failed to see that this trend only signals a terrible failure on the part of government. Come to think of it, has the government even provided those conditions favorable to job creation? Why must everybody be an employer? How is self-employment generally doing in Nigeria? When everyone learns to Bake chin chin. Make paint and beads. Sew clothes. Drive a cab. Etc. Who will patronize who? How is the government supporting the already existing small businesses? Does Our Buhari shown himself to understand the concept of free market? |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Use Of Fasting, when God still Answer prayers with Full Stomach? by DarkHenrie(m): 6:57am On Jan 18, 2016 |
Seriously, what kind of God requires you to starve for 21 or even 50days before answering your prayers? Is that a Good God? Will you starve your child for this long before giving them what they ask of you? People need to start using their brains. Ulcer is real! Raymondenyi: Hello house; I'm here again...
Before I go on to my story; I want all to understand what fasting truly entails(for those that might not know)...
According to the scriptures ; Psalm 35:13 - "but as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I fast to humble my Soul and my prayers kept returning to my bossom "
What fasting does is to starve your soul of any earthly pleasure (Food, drinks, television, sleep), so ur spirit can concentrate on God and draw closer, you pray passionately...
Well as for your's truly here; anytime I fast (starve of food) ; Both my spirit and my soul gets conquered; I can't even lift a finger, talkless of pray...
Moreso; from my beloveth scriptures, When we pray in his name in truth and in faith (We musn't fast) God hears us
My church happens to be on a 21days fasting program, and everyone is suppose to fast; but because of what my bible says, and my knowledge that God hears my prayer Whether fasting or full, I usually eat very well and join them in prayers...
So My question is; What is the use of fasting When God still anwers our prayers even on a full stomach?? As some only get strong for spiritual warfare when they eat? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Shocking Details I Found About The Porn Industry -abylyty by DarkHenrie(m): 6:49am On Jan 18, 2016 |
Oga, have you heard of sex therapy? Don't you know there are couples who can't meet property without a bit of pornography? And apart from your self-righteous religious sermon against pornography, can you provide medical evidence of how watching pornography harms anybody? Abylyty: Okay! I realised that pornography is one of the major anti social vices we have in the world today. Now straight to the point.
After doing a careful research (on both male and female porn stars), I discovered that most people who engage in pornography do it for the money and not because they enjoy doing it, hence many people have had to quit the industry in droves.
Listening to their( Those who quitted) confessions and experiences, I noticed all of them said the same things about the industry of which I'll highlight below.
1) the people who came to draw them to the industry coaxed and deceived them by telling them they were going to be rich and famous like their favorite celebrity.
2) EVERY porn star is alcoholic and DRUG ADDICTED, and Almost all scenes were shot under the influence of drugs, so that's why they can engage in very gross, brutal and unatural sex acts. Most often than not, they are subjected to very harsh and cruel sexual activities they never wanted to engage in.
3) many porn stars enter into the industry under aged. At this point they are a good prey because they are still naive and unexposed.
4) they are lied to that they were going to be protected from diseases and infections, but it was a blatant lie after all, and a lot of them ended up having HIV which ruined them.
5) Almost all of them grew up In dysfunctional homes, some did not experience love while growing, some were severally and cruelly abused, others had parents in that line of work, and almost all of them lacked parental care and guidance
6) they all agree that pornography is bad and EVIL, and anyone watching it is in support of prostitution and dehumanization of people especially women who are the worst affected by it. They also agree that porn adversely affects not only those engaging in the sexual acts, but also those watching it.
7) they all confessed that all the while they were in the industry doing all those things, they felt a huge depth of emptiness lurking in and around their lives. Many have been attacked and brutally raped, some died on set while filming fetish scenes, and some murdered in cold blood.
lastly, another thing that is common to all their stories, accounts, and confessions is that they are happy to be free and they became free when they found love in JESUS.
There are some of you reading this right now that may be slaves to porn probably not as actors, but as watchers. If this already written off people found their life I Christ, what are you waiting for?
It's time to get up from the ashes, dust yourself up and do the right thing. If JESUS saved them, he can save you too.
For those people who think the message of JESUS is a drivel thereby mocking beleivers, I want to tell you that the world will be a better place if we all could be like him. I sometimes wished he was like our celebrities who don't care what anyone says about them for the very fact that they don't even know and care if those people even exist, but JESUS is not so. He still loves you even though you speak bad about him and hate on him however you want.
Let's say NO to pornography and YES to the message of JESUS |

Magic without a magician? Which atheist told you they believed in Magic? KingEbukasBlog: Actually most atheists and Christians dont even know that God is eternal - no beginning and no end - so its illogical to ask who created God . He is the Supreme Being .
We are in the last days and my advice to you all is that our heavenly race is an individual race not your church's pastor , or choir master , or any one . You have your bible with you , ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to understand His word and seek to grow in God's word .
Christ is coming back to rapture a church - the body of Christ , the believers and not a denomination or members of a particular church .
Atheists believe magic happens without a magician - a thought not salubrious but pernicious to a sound mind . They are the uselessly irrational and deluded ones and are not worthy to be paid any attention |

You're an idiot. Simple. Degis: Obviously, this writer lost the plot with this is meaningless missive when he tries to con his readers by appealing to sentiments.
He said Adeboye prophesied that Boko Haram and ISIS will be considerably weakened, this can be verified easily by studying the modu operandi of these guys, which an independent verifier will agree. Does Boko Haram and ISIS still hold as much territories like before?. No.
He ranted about Adeboye's fuel less driving, this shouldn't elicit any controversy because all through history, God has shown Himself in diverse ways and means by doing anything at anytime for whosoever He wished.
I guess he should be asking Adeboye how a boy from the backwaters of Ifewara could become one of the most influential persons in the Universe
On the fund raising debacle, I still wonder, how he had expected Adeboye to have raised the funds, when he gave opportunity to everyone to come in at his or her level. Adeboye called from 1 billion to 100 Naira but because this fellow cocooned in his 2 by 2 studio flat in middle of a nowhere borough in the UK could not imagine that there are people in Nigeria that can give millions of Naira to God's work without battling an eyelid
