Livebygrace: Good! U mean Ilorin only allows science education students to offer just half of science courses? That simply means those guys will only stop at attending lectures at the end of 200L in science Dept's, and u claim common sense is free? How on earth will a university issue a B.Sc. Ed. Cert to someone who is not well groomed? Anyway, I will advise u go back to your university and seek help from your lecturers. I am sure they will offer free deliverance for you from your ignorance. I am telling u what I studied and what is obtainable with it but u are here arguing blindly just because u're too proud to learn. Maybe when u go for ur second degree and u see people in ur class who are graduates of science education, the scales on ur eyes will fall then. But till then, I leave u to your ignorance to have free ride on you. At this juncture, I rest my pen. . You still haven't provided an answer to my question. How will a Bsc(Ed). finish the coursework of his Bsc. counterparts without exceeding the maximum units provided by the school, given that both of them have the same 4 years to complete their coursework. |

Livebygrace: Two things are affecting you: 1) the curriculum of the SCHL u graduated from 2)Continuous self deceit. By the way, where did u graduate from that students of Science/Education only offer half of science courses? Which university is that? In some schls science education students offer all science courses with education courses, and in some others students offer most courses from science Dept's with education courses. And if there is any science course they won't offer, that will be elective in 400L which may not be more than one or two. It is evident that u're not from any of the universities I mentioned earlier because that would have purged u of ur ignorance. Kindly help by letting me know ur university where science education students offer only half of science courses. At least, I did my BSc. Ed in UNN and I did enough Maths and stats courses sufficient enough to earn me MSc. Maths admission in UI and I just finished my course work exam two weeks ago. So, I need to knw the name of where u graduated from b4 I continue with u. Here you go again,in a session, there is a maximum number of credits allowed to be registered. And most departments nearly exhaust the maximum credit. Now,tell me how someone will take enough education courses and also enough science courses without exhausting the maximum allowed credit. And both the Bsc. student and the Bsc.(Ed) students have the same 4 years to finish up their coursework. Reason, common sense is free. And by the way as per my university, its Unilorin. |

Livebygrace: Just imagine itself. How do u sound to yourself when u read what u're posting here? Fulfilled or self-deceitful? U speak reality without fact or practicality? I'm just trying not to give more details than what I have done earlier until u provide the basis for your so-called reality. I used myself as an example and u're saying otherwise. Abeg, stop being befuddled by your hatred for those who studied BSc. Edu. and go elsewhere to exude your pseudo-reality. Who in his right senses says a person who did half of the courses in a department is equal and better than someone who did everything thing in that department. It beats normal logic. |

Livebygrace: Indeed, u're misinformed. I studied Maths Edu (B.Sc. Ed.) in my first degree b4 I decided to go for M.Sc. Maths in UI for that matter. U're just ignorantly been deceitful here. I would want you to deliver yourself from lies b4 u conclude on fallacy. Go and ask, many guys are industries through graduate trainee with their BSc. Ed. Anyway, if you have chosen to continue this way, I won't bother to reply u again. To others who have B. Sc. Ed., don't allow this kind of being to derail you on ur career path. As a B.Sc. Ed. Holder, u can further ur MSc on either the core or the education. I am sure UI, Unilag, Uniben, UNN and ABU will take you if u pass their interbiews. I am living witness. anything that pleases you,na you know. Make yourself happy. I speak of reality(bitter truth). |

Livebygrace: U're the one deceiving urslf. Someone with B.Sc. (Ed.) Is at an advantage over the one with only B. Sc. as the former can opt for M. Ed. or M.Sc. if so desired. Though the former also can be preferred in education environment. So, don't discourage others. Intact, there are many B.Sc. Ed holders in industries who entered through graduate trainees program. Stop lying, tell the truth, and stop writing stuffs just to make yourself feel better. In Physics Education for example, the kind of courses they offer are tailored at being taught in the secondary school level, they don't do cutting edge courses in Physics that has to do with research. |

Let's clear the air on this.
IN NIGERIA, Bsc(Ed), BA(Ed) is in fact an education degree. It's just taking a major subject in a specified faculty and specializing on training teachers on that subject, for them to teach at the secondary school level. |

and lastly,as someone hoping to go into electronics in the future, which of them fits better for electronics.
Please, answer according to the criteria above and please dont mind my grammars. No insult please to be frank with you, none of these field is closely related to electronics like that, but i will personally suggest health physics, then geophysics. Good luck. Where are u studying. |
Politics › Re: Lagos Launches First Online Platform To Interact With Citizens by darkhorizon: 11:08am On Jan 28, 2017 |
metroparrot: The Lagos State Government on Thursday launched a mobile app to facilitate interaction and provision of services between government and the citizens from the comfort of their homes and offices without necessarily paying a visit to government establishments where such services are being provided.
The mobile app, otherwise known as Citizens Gate under the Citizens Relations Management (CRM) initiative, is the first of its kind in Nigeria, and would avail residents of the State the opportunity to make enquiry and suggestions on government services and getting faster responses.
Addressing a joint press briefing at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa, the State’s Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr. Olufemi Odubiyi, said the launch of the web platform was another initiative of the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration aimed at bringing government closer to the people.
Odubiyi, who addressed the briefing alongside the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde and the Director General of Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation, Mr. Toba Otusanya, described the Citizens Gate as an intuitive-based technology innovation designed to manage relationship between the citizens and government.
He said: “The Citizens Gate is an integrated web and mobile-based platform through which Lagos State’s citizens can lodge feedback to the State Government on various services provided, receive quick responses on services as well as interact with government officials via web and mobile phone.
“The platform is designed to promote communication and connectivity between citizens and government while it will also enable citizens to inform the government on problems and issues occurring in their areas, communities and beyond.”
The Commissioner added that the platform would also afford citizens the opportunity to enquire about government services while also providing an avenue to make suggestions on government services for better confidence and trust in the present administration led by Governor Ambode.
According to Odubiyi, the platform can be accessed via citizensgate.lagosstate.gov.ng and a downloadable mobile app from Google play store and Apple store both on Android and iOS, while the platform would enable government to acknowledge problems and issues which would be investigated, worked on and resolved efficiently and timely.
He said apart from the fact that the development would improve the State budget thus making planning a lot easier and preventing waste and encouraging savings that will aid in provision of more services and development, the platform would further help government to determine which programme of the State is working and whether to replace or improve on any programme for efficient and effective service delivery to the people.
In his remarks, Otusanya said the platform has been designed initially to accommodate 22 MDAs of government and same will be scaled up to cover all MDAs in the near future.
He said government officials have been trained to be in charge of the platform in all the initial MDAs, while citizens with no access to internet can call the Command Centre on 767 and a ticket will be issued instantly on their behalf.

Explorer lalasticlala should help a brother . The reason is glaring, and simple... the armed forces (military) fall into the line of command of only the C in C ,Defence minister, chief of staffs,downwards... the VP and SP have no authority whatsoever over the military...they only receive orders from C in C,Defence minister, downwards. The VP,SP,governors only have authority over nonmilitary security bodies. And don't be fooled,if governors are CSO,they are equivalent to Brigadier generals,no civilian, I repeat no civilian is equivalent to a military personnel,is that clear?? |

dejt4u: studying education physics does not limit you to education line alone.. You can explore all areas physics (medical, exploration, atmospheric, geophysics, solid state, nuclear and atomic physics etc). In fact, you can getting higher degrees in physics major with a BSc.Ed physics..
That is, your career prospect in line with those that study pure physics.
Again, you need to get a very good CGPA. Physics education in OAU is not child's play.. You will get double honour so be prepared for double stress.. Get your facts right sir, physics education is a department in another department:science education. In which its primary aim is to produce teachers who can teach Science subjects(Physics in this case) at secondary school level. Cheers. |

Explorers: For instance, when we talk about cars every country has her own make, brand, model spec, and most times giving the same functions.
Some are more expensive than the others.
Now to weapons, when we mention F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35, Humvee, Chinook, Apache, Blackhawk and stuffs like that belongs the United States Military (US origin).
Russians and other Europe countries have their sophisticated fighter jets, Armoured vehicles, destroyers, aircraft carriers but the United States spends more on theirs. $601 Billion in 2015.
The attached image is High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle(HMMWV) commonly known as the Humvee(Armoured) produced by US AM general motors.
Its primarily used by the US military, cost $220,000 per unit. Used to like your posts, but when I noticed you are more US inclined, even though u choose to turn a blind eye/shun other countries.
