Hello house. Someone did a transaction in my office some months ago and because her bank app wasn't opening she dropped her phone till she could pay. The money was approved amid the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Echono said the meeting of all beneficiary institutions will be held by next week to interact further and brief on the proposed reforms that have been approved for implementation.

He assured the vice chancellors of TeFund’s commitment to sustain the ongoing reforms in the sector, with increased emphasis on the content of its interventions particularly in the areas of research, ICT and in the areas of encouraging a reading culture in our society through publication of books.

“We are confident that once this is accomplished it will not only provide open learning resources for researchers and students who want to access previous works done in their respective areas of research but also promote a culture of academic excellence,” he said.

Echono said the meeting of all beneficiary institutions will be held by next week to interact further and brief on the proposed reforms that have been approved for implementation.

Echono noted that one of the problems of Nigeria’s education is the quality of graduates, particularly the quality of thesis, saying, “Many students plagiarize peoples work”.

“We believe in anti-plagiarism device as you have developed will go a long way in dictating this and ensuring compliance. Indeed, we have adopted a policy in TETFund that going forward, all proposals coming to us must go through your system and receive certification that it has passed a minimum standard that is required and for all publishers and authors before it can benefit from our support.”

He also lamented the amount of resources being spent in sending children abroad for studies, urging universities, especially private ones to create a niche and compete with foreign universities that are attracting students in order to save cost.

Earlier, the chairman of the CVC, Prof Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo, said the CVCNU is working closely with the TetFund to deploy the thesis digitisation for Nigerian tertiary institutions.

The CVCNU further called for a review of the funding support to beneficiary institutions to access tier one journals and repositories to improve the research capabilities of staff and students and to also help build the capacity of academic staff for generating content, especially video and 3-Dimensional images, to support teaching.

I am ..... from..... state but moved to kwara for my undergraduate studies. I am a student of unilorin, a potential 300level student(promoted to 300level before the ASUU STRIKE). I was scammed by someone that we both agreed to run a business together(without any legal term though) . I gave him all my lifetime savings to help me buy red palm oil(epo pupa) when it's cheaper and help me resell when the price is high. Last month i sent him 1,145 400(altogether) last month. To my suprise he messaged me yesterday that he didn't purchase any palm oil and that he had diverted all the money to farming that by December he w give my money in which that was not our agreement. And that he had travelled to jos for farming. I am finished � because if school should resume there's is no assurance of continuity , my tenancy is going to expire this month. I have nothing left again but sorrow. Our world is wicked�

Hi everyone,

My father happened to be the first son of my grandfather who automatically inherit his lands and other properties.

My father just died and since I'm the first son of my father. Which means I'm automatically inherit and in charge of those inheritance.

Now my uncles are all ganging up against me. These guys not allowing me to do the burial of my father who passed away for a while now.

They keep giving different excuses on why the burial will not hold.

They gang up and cancel the burial i fixed previously and I lost everything. All what I spent for the burial arrangements was wasted.

I really want to charge them for this.

They are using the influence that if they are not in support the burial will not hold.

These uncles has really fustrate me and I keep spending money and wasting my precious time traveling back to the village for series of meetings just to please them.

Yet they're not approving my burying my father. Not like they are giving me any money for the burial. I'm the one handling it yet they no gree.

They said i cannot inherit the grandfather and my father's properties..so I cannot do my father burial. And these are for their own selfish motives.

The Kingsman and the king supports me and has cautious the uncles to desease from such. But yet they still persist.

I have tried to make peace and peace with them as family concern but yet they are all still ganging up. And wow to fustrate me.

Now my patience has ruined out. I'm in mood for actions now.

I want to take matter higher than the community level with them now.

I'm thinking taking them to court now. But I don't know the process.

I opened a business for my wife,to the glory of God, the business is doing good.

All of a sudden, money start missing. All efforts to balance the account at the close of business were all abortive. We thought our workers were the one stealing but they are innocent. My wife has been crying after the recent one which was 110k. A friend who had experience same, advise her to put a piece of charcoal in the vault where she keeps money.
