Hello EndWeakerection, yes, there are differences. Caregiver/Care Worker/Carer is mostly care home/home care based. On the other hand, Health Care Support Worker/Health Care Assistant/Nursing Auxiliary is usually hospital based. The ONS SOC for the former is 6145 while that for the latter is 6141.
The implication of this is that though the former is eligible for both HACW and SW visas, it's on the Shortage Occupations list for only SW visa (which attracts IHS), while the latter is on the Shortage Occupations list for HACW visa (exempt from IHS).

I just paid for for PCC online. I didn’t get any confirmation/Instruction but I have my receipt. Please, what is the next thing to do.

You're right . They are many on social media advertising COS for fees . Some employers have started cancelling/ terminating COS of people already working for them and ask them to go back home .

Like I said earlier it’s 15 modules. You can’t proceed to next module until you have pass the 15 test questions which you must get 12/15.

Please is this normal. I booked for IELTS exam last week Tuesday. My status has remained awaiting approval. I however got a mail acknowledging my payment was received.

For people that want to get Care Certificate. You can go online and google CPD online College. Buy the care certificate package. It’s £20 but £24 with vat.

Most of the Care Certificate package online are certified by CPD so why not go them directly.

The Care Certificate have 15 Modules. Which covers almost everything care.

Because we are in Nigeria, you will experience challenge paying for the package because of the cbn restriction on Nigeria bank card. Talk to family or friend abroad to help you pay then you reimburse naira equivalents. (Please, don’t disturb anybody abroad to help you pay for it for free).

You will not want them to block you because of £24

Happened to a friend. When she got there on the for example may 4th they say they cannot attend to her that her booking is may 17. I told her don't go anywhere. Ask to speak to the manager and show her that booking email that showed 4th. If there is a glitch in the system how is it the candidate fault. When she showed the email of 4th they relaxed and said yes it their system fault and allowed her do the TB... this was last month , lagos branch

Just print out the email confirming may 4th go there and dont leave until someone agrees ..lol. you might end up doing it late but u can get it done that day if you insist

Where are all the people always talking about TB appointments? Go to the website this minute and see available dates with convenient times of the day, starting from as early as May 4th. Don't say I did not tell you people ooo. I'm even talking about Lagos, not to speak of Abuja.

Na this your advise put me for issue like this. I already locked May 17th. I cancel the 17th to book 4th. Now I don’t have any active booking because the may 4th Dey show error since
