The 5th car you have own, yet you are on rental.

After years of education and work nothing to show for it, you here with me doing Uber driving and still on rental.

Just as I have said, Uber is my stepping stone, the future is very bright.

Been a good elder is not by age, I honestly cannot look up to you as someone that will inspire me, you fall in the category of Gentlelife50, that frustration have hit hard.

I drive my own car boy... Get your fact before you start typing. Also, I never pray for someone like you to look up to me.

I advice/counsel many that needs my help on this thread and they are happy.

Retired labourer said I wanted to sell dead civic for 400. Lol

Let me help you. It was Honda Baby boy that I sold for 480k that year and my Civic will be the 5th car that I have own.

But as for you. You have never own a bicycle spoke not to talk of Pan in your years of experience as a labourer.

So there is not point engaging you but just to put you where you belong. We No be mate!

I repeat it will take you 5-10 years to achieve what many of us have achieved.

You need to get yourself a jamb form first or do you wish to drive all your life?

It will take you 4-5 years to get a B.Sc alone not to talk of NYSC.

So you are see it will take you atleast 5years to achieve what many of us have achieve.

If truly you are 22years. When Elders are talking. Shut up and learn.

In your village 22years old don't go to school? Until they turn 30.

In your village 22 still suck their mama breast.

The guy darmilolah claim wat he has achieved, I won't achieve it in 10 years.

Then checking his history I see he want to sell a dead civic for 400k, and was actually on rental.

I will ignore you henceforth.

Pikin wey go loss, Go loss

When I say a lot of drivers have overstayed in the business, I know what I'm saying.

Hahahaha dead civic indeed.. Yes, I am on rental. We drive for same partner.

Continue running your mouth....

In my own standard, this isn't a wonderful week.

Seized this opportunity to hail my man dru23.

My brother he will call you lazy o. Grossing 20k weekly is an achievement for a graduate labourer.

I eat in mama put, one plate of food is 300naira
I save 20k weekly.

Private driver earn 30k monthly, company driver that I know of that driver to kano, gombe, kogi and Eastern part of Nigeria on weekly basis earn 50k monthly, I was even advising the guy to come join Uber.

Most of you have aged in this job without achieving anything, that's why the laziness and greediness comes in play.

Ok.. I understand.
Let me just say this to you.

It will take you 5-10years to achieve what most of us have achieve.

If you're a driver, you will enjoy driving around Lagos, while meeting new people.

If you have a job of 100k a month doing fraction job, quit driving Uber and focus on that job.

Uber is not the best job in the world, and is not the worst job either, but for me at moment, is the best job so far, I have experience in my life.

I didn't invest a dime, just my little energy and I'm making money, God bless Uber.

I am happy for the turn around in your life. Pls May I know how much you spend on food daily/weekly?

I am trying to do some calculation as a newbie.

Sebi from that 20k I can you don't spend more that 2k on feedifeeding in a week and the remaining goes to your savings?

Riders no longer call. It's annoying. Yesterday evening I was at home and playing with app around 5:30pm. Some request entered my phone. I accepted all the request. I patiently wait to hear My Phone ring but that didn't happen.

I end up calling 3 of them. La bang, la cancel.

After 7mins got another one and I decided not to call. Rider too didn't call even after I swipe my arrive now.

You won't believe rider did not call till i cancel the request this morning around 7am.

How did we get here. What is the solution?

Before anytime I'm around ogba,Ikeja, opebi and GRA I will face airport immediately to get request, I can turn round and round till I get request. But since the day I saw airport tout/sec put iron rod in uber car's tire in traffic , as in no movement. I realized it's a battle. So it's better I stay away and position anywhere else

If you must go to airport. You must enter the car park. Then patiently wait for request. So now that you are in car park, no other destination apart from the island make business sense. When you get request, call your rider to left he or she know you are in car park and they must walk to you in car park. You can walk to them too to help them with their luggage if you feel like.

I still have my car park in Ikeja before 4pm. Atimes, I get request even before I turn off my engine

Manual cars consume less fuel and cheaper to maintain.

The only disadvantage is problem to sell. You will have to drop the price to get buyer.

Good morning guys. Please is there anyone in the house using or have used a manual transmission car for uber/taxify?

Can you share experience? Does using a manual drive for uber/taxify makes the job A LOT more difficult?

I've driven a manual before some some 8 years ago. But someone told me I dare not try using if for uber/taxify. That I may not be able to cope. Asking because manual drive is significantly cheaper for same model of car

My brother... I will encourage you to go ahead if that's what you can afford. Newer model Manual transmission is easy to drive. Infact you won't feel it.

I started Ehailing with manual transmission 2012 Corolla that year. I drove the said car for almost a year. That was even the era of crazy traffic on lekki-epe exp. I had no issue. I started having pains on my right leg and back pain the week I switch to auto.

New generation MT cars are not bad. I love it and I will love to go back to it.

Till tomorrow Ogunvic still drive Manual PJ

Some riders can act cowardly. If you want to cancel, why not tell the driver?

That's how one directed me to the front of his house using my credit. After I parked, he cancelled. Called him to check if it was a mistake but he never picked the call again

I don't know if he was trying to show someone how the app works because the difference between the time he directed me and when he cancelled was less than two minutes

It's like some derive joy from doing that

Abeg make una help me. my car Honda civic 2006 has been behaving funny lately. Car becomes very very heavy on the ground and sluggish when ac is on and the fans are working but lightens up as soon as thermostat stops the fan and becomes heavy again as soon as fans starts working again. This issue gets worse in slow moving traffic and I hv to match down the throttle very well most times for the speed to increase. My mechanic has checked plugs and coil and fuel pump serviced but it persists.
Rpm flunctuates and when it goes below 500 the car will want to off when idle or in traffic.

Hello Taxity/Uber drivers.

Presently working on a project and your input is needed.

Working on a Fuel credit card for uber and Taxify drivers.

This card will allow you buy fuel on credit from specified stations. For a start, all drivers will have access to N5,000 fuel credit on their card. This amount is increased as the driver pays back.

My question"

1) As a driver, will you want to use the card?
2) If repayment for a N5000 fuel is N5,350 for a 7days repayment, will you use the card?
3) If there is a promo rewarding you with a N750 call card for using N20k fuel in a week, will you want to use the card?

Your input will be appreciated.
Thanks

I am new in this part of business. I intend getting a 2004 Corolla soon:
1. How easy will it be to find a competent/reliable driver at this place point, and how do I go about getting one

2. What should I be targeting in terms of weekly returns

3. Would this venture still be viable for me, or did I come in a little bit late.

Kindly assist with this questions, and pardon the fact that it might be redundant.

Thanks

Put your money in another business sir.
