@ OP, below are some more disadvantages that need to be added to your list: More "desert ninjas" (those nigerians that travel to europe via the sahara desert). More tribalists (ask nairaland or other nigerian fora) More fantasy tales emanating from the so called village "empires" of nigerian dungeon that all capitulated at the mere sight of dane-gun-wielding white men. More groups with ethnic identity crises. More fictional tales by ijaw with respect to their population, which in reality is not more than a mere 3M. More/perpetual darkness as there can never be 24/7 electricy. More clowns to try out their bullet proof charm,,,,ask the OPC guy who is now 6ft below the sea level. More people to brand themselves as "politically shofishticated", even if such tag is arrived at via treachery. More ewusa/fulani pigs clinging onto "born to rule" mentality. More Igbo fools who will keep investing outside their region, thus endagering their lives and those of their family. More foolish Igbo parents who have abdicated their responsiblity of telling their children about the events of 1966-1970, thereby making them vulnerable to future dangers. More Igbo fools (male and female) who keep getting involved in a bound-to-be suicidal intertribal marriage/relationship specifically with the sworn enemies of Biafra. Above all, the greatest disadvantage of them all is the difficulty in stemming the growing tide of "efulefuism" in Igboland
ahhhhhhhhhhh, what is ur problem with Igbos? |
Polio in 5 states worries FG On September 25, 2011 · In News By Daniel Idonor & Victoria Ojeme The Federal Government, yesterday, condemned the polio status in the country, noting that Nigeria, in August 2011, recorded 26 cases of polio in six states in contrast to six during the corresponding period in 2010. The affected states are Borno, Kebbi, Jigawa, Kano, Zamfara, Sokoto and Yobe. The cases mainly are due to the high number of unimmunized children as a result of refusal of the vaccine by some parents and caregivers as well as children being absent. President Goodluck Jonathan, who disclosed this in Abuja during the national flag-off ceremony of the September 2011 sub-National Immunisation Plus Days (SIPDs) and launch of the Polio- free Torch Campaign, said, “I understand that in August this year, 26 children in six states across the nation were confirmed to have been paralysed by the virus. This is unacceptable”. He said it was the responsibility of state governors, traditional and religious leaders to ensure that polio vaccine, made available freely by the Federal Government and the development partners, get to the children in their domain. Jonathan, who was represented by Vice President Namadi Sambo, restated the Federal Government’s commitment to seeing that the wild polio virus is eradicated in the country by 2012. In his remarks, Minister of Health, Prof Onyebuchi Chukwu, said what was needed now was action, saying, “we have talked long enough”. He noted that the launch of the Polio- free Torch would inspire and mobilize all Nigerians to do away with the virus from getting to children.
![]() Real good news |

The father of the deceased, Mr Tony Ojukwu, told newsmen that his 20-year-old boy left home on the ill-fated day for the post-UTME without his handset, adding that they could not trace his whereabouts until the men of the STF came to inform him of the death of his son.
All these Igbo pple self, them no dey hear word?
