Seun:Oga Seun, u wont understand. He has been very keen on this issue right from my childhood. And I feel I owe him a lot cos as a father I think he has really played his role in my life to the best of his abilities. So despite I feel his reasons for this decision are absurd, I still feel compelled to adhere to dis his desire and will, if not only just to honour him but because of the fact that (as our pple will often say) there may be something an old man is seeing while sitting down that a young man may not be seeing while on top of a tree. Love can always come latter, cos as far as I am concerned, the so called luv is not a permanent state. So I wont want to put my good relationship with my family (dad in particular) in jeopardy just becos I feel I am so inluv with a girl I just met few months ago. Infact she wont even like it on the long run. As my pastor will always advice us, when trying to choose a live partner, Luv shouldnt be the 1st and only thing to consider. Infact there are some pple I had fallen inluv with in the past that I dont even care whether they exist anymore (presently). Why? Becos luv or hatred is always subject to change (depending on varies surrounding circumstances) |
Just this afternoon I was forced to break up a nine months serious relationship with a girl I luv so much, just because my dad wont let me marry her cos she is not the same tribe with me. (I know many pple may doubt this, but I can use almighty God as my withness to this). I dont know whether I should call this extreme tribalism cos not dat my dad is just againt any particular tribe or tribes, his stand right from my childhood is dat on no account should I get married to any other tribe apart from my very tribe. Dis has caused me some serious headace in the past cos I`m really yet to see any available decent, trustworthy and seriuos minded girl(from my tribe of late) that I will like to settle down with. |
delvinmaya:wetin happen, you go jail? |
Henry120:Ok. In my area here at Ekewan road(Benin city) its the average of about 21hrs daily for the past 3weeks. Infact, it was on uninterupted since yesterday morning up to about 6.30pm this evening, when they took it, probably as a result of the heavy rain. However it was brought back less than an hour later, just after the rain. GEJ, you do well. |

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — In a significant new blow to al-Qaida, U.S. airstrikes in Yemen on Friday killed Anwar al-Awlaki, an American militant cleric who became a prominent figure in the terror network's most dangerous branch, using his fluent English and Internet savvy to draw recruits for attacks in the United States. The strike was the biggest U.S. success in hitting al-Qaida's leadership since the May killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. But it raises questions that other strikes did not: Al-Awlaki was an American citizen who has not been charged with any crime. Civil liberties groups have questioned the government's authority to kill an American without trial. The 40-year-old al-Awlaki was for years an influential mouthpiece for al-Qaida's ideology of holy war, and his English-language sermons urging attacks on the United States were widely circulated among militants in the West. But U.S. officials say he moved into a direct operational role in organizing such attacks as he hid alongside al-Qaida militants in the rugged mountains of Yemen. Most notably, they believe he was involved in recruiting and preparing a young Nigerian who on Christmas Day 2009 tried to blow up a U.S. airliner heading to Detroit, failing only because he botched the detonation of explosives sewn into his underpants. complete story here http://news.yahoo.com/us-strike-kills-american-al-qaida-cleric-yemen-122527842.html |
This stuff is worth taking once in a while. But the bad news about it now is that Igbo made don full market. The last one I took, unlike b4, I consumed the full container without really feeling it. The only resemblance was that it was as bitter as bitter leaf, with a little taste of alchohol ![]() |
^^ I dont even have your time. You are just a one direction follower. Funny how a laptop, internet connection and some handouts will buy an old man like you over to represent the president on a forum. You don't even want it with me. Its only when you are bought over that you will not know dams are major sources of power in this country. Even primary school pupils get that basic knowlegde and water bodies in the country has been overflowing this year; the lagos flooding, the story on frontpage about river niger submerging villages etc. Man I don't have your time, I gotta face my work. You have been roboted to be bias here so never have any other option.
So Mr. Globe, who do u represent, the haters? ![]() |

I am not even sure you have the capacity to rule over your younger sister at home. Maybe you should be the one whose brain needs formating cos i dont see any reason why you always take delight in insulting the president without any just cause. Nonsence ![]() |

On a more serious note, I am beginning to think that lagos state is not a part of Nigeria, infact its a country of its own. |

Ordinarily, this would have been a very nice thing to do; we are long over due for it. But the problem is that it is still going to end up as a wasted project. Why? Because, just like our so called drivers license or even the on going sim card registration, people are still going to be submitting wrong information, and many may even have 2, 3 or more National Identity card with different information for different purposes without being detected by the machine. The simcard registration is a perfect example. I know a lot of people that have registered various simcard with different fake names and addresses. My question is, what is actually the use of the finger printing if u cant use it to detect a simple thing like this? For instance, someone registers an MTN simcard today with the name—Wilson John, of 12 Okoro street, and the next day he comes as Paul Francis given his address as 17 Mahoney street, and the data is submitted to the telecommunication company (by those doing the registration on the streets) how come their computer cant automatically detect same finger prints but different names and address? If we can’t get this right yet, then I think we are not ready yet for the national identity card project. |
