Haba! Does this mean that EVERY Igbo MUST support Biafra actualization? If yes, where is the freedom of choice?
Disrupting prayer sessions in a church, and I thought there is freedom of association, to hold and express one's belief without fear and intimidation.
I thought Biafra represents freedom for all?
This kind of behavior needs to be condemned loudly by all sensible humans who understands what FREEDOM TRULY means.

Goan sit down abegi!

Since 1996 the U.N. has declared that 85 percent lived below the poverty line.

Since 1996 the U.N. declared that majority of Nigerians live below 1 dollar a day.

In OBJ's regime sharia killed 10,000 people in Nigeria.

In GEJ's regime boko haram and herdsmen killed over 10,000 people in this country.

Stop displaying and trying to deceive with your typical Nigerian tortoise mentality.

Not saying Buhari is saintly,

But if we cannot get a new leader from a different crop of politicians from one of the new parties, stop advertising Atiku to us.

Quit with that "Atiku is better than Buhari" narrative.

We cannot be fooled.
God bless you
PoliticsRe: Why Obasanjo Made U-turn, Forgave Atiku – Secondus by dasensible1(m): 2:45pm On Oct 12, 2018
Because Obasanjo is a politician, a Nigerian politician. Politicians are never upright, they don't stick to their words. To politicians personal interest comes first.

I hope God will forgive Obasanjo, as he has already vowed that God won't forgive him IF he support Atiku.
PoliticsRe: Let Us Remind Obasanjo by dasensible1(m): 2:18pm On Oct 12, 2018
Atiku? I don't want to believe this conversation is about the same Atiku Abubakar, former vice President, ex customs boss. Maybe it's another Atiku.

Throwback:
Above are the Nigerians who claim they are suffering.

From their comments, they are clearly eager to continue suffering with the same kind of leadership that has not fixed any problem inherited from the military since 1999.

Oby Ezekwesili has no baggage of corruption or failure.
She is known to be the most selfless Nigerian of high status who does not even hide behind the safety of twitter to criticise the failure of Nigerian leadership or to demand the rights and dignity of the Nigerian citizen.

Alas, we always prove that even we the victims do not want any dignity, and do not expect a Nigeria where human life would ever be valued.

A deranged generation claiming to be "Atikulating" for a corrupt billionaire civil servant turned business man and politician, who has never taken to the streets to demand for a better life for Nigerians, besides his own ambition to be President. A selfish man who has never challenged the government on anything that was not a threat to his own personal enterprise and political aspiration.

A man that has not for once criticized the terrorist Fulani herdsmen, or criticised the abuse that Nigerians suffer at the hands of the police and military men.

If you think otherwise, you will vote Oby Ezekwesili for a reformed Nigeria.
Worst of all is that they are "youths". With kinda youths, with this kinda mind set, there is little to no hope for a better Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: It's Time For Restructuring, Yoruba Nation To Adopt Paradigm Shift - Gani Adams by dasensible1(m): 1:54pm On Oct 12, 2018
WhyMoD:
The Yorubas claim they want restructuring yet they're still backing a government that had said over and over again that it does not believe in restructuring.

Why are they refusing to support a man who has promised to restructure?
This tell you that there are lies in their claims..

They don't want restructuring..
they're supporting Bubu cos they want to take over from him..

Most of them are supporting Bubu cos they still believe he may not be able to make it althrough to 2023.. they re busy praying for the man to die so they'd take over power. Yet they're pretending they wish him well..
In politics talk is cheap. A politician will "promise " just about anything to get into office, especially Nigerian politicians.

Can Atiku Abubakar single handedly restructure Nigeria? If yes, then his promise may count for something. But if there are other factors e.g. legislative arm, the constitution, caucus interests etc, then it will be unwise to buy what he says.

Buhari made promises too, what is the result? Atiku is making promises, so EVERYONE must support him. When will Nigerians especially the youth grow up?

The Yorubas just like the other tribes have the right to choose who they'll vote for in 2019 without apology to anyone. It's their choice.

You're very intelligent
adanny01:
You are being sentimental in your thinking.

Eligiblity does not translate to vote. In Nigeria, when a polling unit decides to give a particular candidate their votes, no one can go against that. An Igbo man going amidst 200 Hausa people to vote an unpopular candidate should not expect to get home unhurt.

You talk as if modric was awarded the best player award because he played the role of a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward.
So by your admission he should have won the best midfielder award only as he only did the job of a midfielder abi?
So was modric as a midfielder better than Ronaldo as a forward? If so, How?
Must the best player ALWAYS be a striker? Cannavaro won the world best before, please tell me what role did he play to win, was he an attacker? Any footballer should be qualified to win it IF they did enough to convince the voters for the awards.
Football does not revolve around attackers ONLY, to me VERY few of them contributes more than goals to football. You wonder why we don't have the entertainment Jay-Jay Okocha, Ronaldo Delima, Xavi, Ronaldinho etc used to give us anymore? It is because everyone wants to run into the box to "tap in", take penalty kicks, and become the best "footballer".
Someone must win the award, Modric has won it. If you ask me 1000 times, it is a well deserved award.

Chop knuckle bro!
KNIGHTBlaed:
So true my brother... Marcelo is the silent engine house, him and Casimero. Truth be told, that Madrid team is too complete (infact over complete dey worry them). Just look at their bench players that transferred to other teams (they become regulars there).

Before people here begin to downgrade Marcelo; There was this interview with Danilo (when he newly signed for Manchester City), the interviewer was asking him who he thinks the most hard working player in Madrid was during his time with Madrid. Danilo answered Ramos or Marcelo, the interviewer was shocked because he expected to hear Ronaldo and he asked again who the most skillful player in Madrid was, Danilo again said it was Marcelo and by far. Seeing the surprise on the interviewer's face, Danilo then told him that all players in Madrid work extra had but that Ronaldo only wants to score goals and be in position to score goals.

The players themselves know who deserves the awards but just keep quiet since its not their decision to make. As much as I love Ronaldo, 5 Ballon d' or's is an insult to football greats. Ronaldo never play ball wey Zidane, Ronaldo de Lima, Ronaldinho play at all. Those awards na wash.

Luka modric who was consistent in the champions league and also a gold medalist like christiano Ronaldo and who is currently a first runners up(a silver medalist) in the world cup. who deserves to wear the crown? Unless you are telling me that the highest goal scorers are always considered to be the world best.
I don't understand people's problem. Ronaldo won the "best forward" award yesterday, obviously in recognition of his goal scoring prowess last season in Europe. Was he the best forward? Yes!!! Was he the best footballer? No!!! I so much love the fact that Modric got the recognition he deserved yesterday.
I don't know how many of us can sit down and watch Ronaldo play for 90mins, when he is not scoring goals. I'll rather be punished picking a bag of beans! Ronaldo scored the highest number of goals last season and he got the reward "best forward".
Boycotting the awards yesterday says a lot about Ronaldo, he has no respect for anyone else except himself. Coaches, captains and selected media persons voted for their choices in different categories, but because the almighty Ronaldo didn't win, they can all go to hell.
Ronaldo and his fans should organize their own award to make him the best player if they feel cheated, UEFA has spoken and that's the final. I hope Mbappe, Griezman, and Modric emerged the final three for Ballon Dor, so we can have a winner from amongst them.

Who are the handlers of Atiku? They are doing a very very poor job. Atiku ranking keeps dropping and they seem not to realize or are simply ignoring that fact. Few months ago it was all about "Atikulate" but now other defectors have taken his shine.
Atiku needs a new team urgently IF he wants to remain relevant in politics in Nigeria. From the look of things 2019 is off the table for Atiku.

Not true.

Even in the face of physical structures, revisionists would deny existence, belittle the acommplishment or try to claim it as theirs.

It is important to gazette and amplify ones progress in governance.

Then the government should simply state its accomplishments and move on.There is NO justifiable reason for the needless comparison. Mr Lai can inform us as the minister of information, or is he a minister of comparison?

Mr Lai governance is about service. Service to the electorates who gave their mandate to your principal. Allow the people to spot the difference, except the difference is so massive that it can't be seen except it is pointed out. Politicians... angry angry
TravelRe: Evacuation Almost Done On Otedola Bridge After Fuel Tanker Explosion. Photos by dasensible1(m):
After the evacuation, what next? What are the measures to prevent/reduce future occurrence? Most of the trucks on Nigerian roads are disasters waiting to happen. Most are old and badly maintained.

I know a truck owner who encouraged her truck driver to manage the truck on trips from Lagos to the east despite being fully aware that the truck brakes are bad.
Many truck drivers are not licenced, they drink and drive, some even give their trucks to their motorboys to drive while they rest.

The law enforcement agents are culpable as well. You see them at different depots collecting money from truck drivers instead of carrying out their duties of ensuring the trucks are safe to run on the roads.

The various unions too at these depots don't ensure that trucks that are allowed to load petroleum products are safe, because they own most of the trucks on the roads. If the government tries to enact/enforce laws the unions will threaten to embark on strike, hence government and their agencies tries to avoid confrontations with the truck drivers and owners.

Government should fix the rails so many of these trucks will have no reasons to be on the roads. Allow for modular refineries to be built wherever it is possible, so tankers don't have to converge in large numbers in Lagos for loading. Road safety officers instead of looking for gratification should do their jobs, if a truck is bad, it should not load or be allowed to move about on our roads. Movement restrictions should be enforced as well.

These are few of the simple steps that a government/society that is concerned about the safety of lives and properties will take to prevent/limit future occurrences, instead of waiting to send condolences to future victims of avoidable disasters.
