ezstino: I am Igbo but I swear u sound arrogant! Agreed that Igbos have the constitutional rights to live freely in Lagos but the host community and the indigenes deserve some resect. They said lagos is their land and not a a 'No mans land' why can't you respect that?
Irrespective of what the Oba of Lagos said, the Yorubas stil expect u to respect the throne because its an institution!
Meanwhile I strongly frown at the Oba's statement. As a royal father, I expect him to know better. I love you |
Politics › Re: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by dasensible1(m): 11:19am On Apr 11, 2015 |
Texcoco: The political atmsopshere concerning Lagos has changed irrevocably and with its reverbrating effects all round our socio-economic landscape,it will be keen to observe how the pervading tension is doused although we see no end in sight but we do see minor flashpoints occurring btw tribes down the end of the road.Just like the running battles with northerners in ethno-religious crises,we can ably point out face-off reprisals of which the igbos can come on top given their dogged nature and experience of butchering Hausas in the east in reciprocity after years of one-sided massacres in the north....Killing yorubas in the east, north or even southwest in reciprocity wouldn't be a big deal especially now we have a democracy. This coming from you? Usually I don't do this but in your case, I give up. |
Politics › Re: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by dasensible1(m): 10:47am On Apr 11, 2015 |
Texcoco: Lagos remains no man's land as far as the non-indigent yorubas nay indigenes would hate because it is the small sacrifice they have to pay for a cosmopolitan city of the likes of New York,Paris etc and a thriving cash cow of 'One Nigeria'...Sincerely,we wish they could disrupt it with their age old tribalism and bigotry let us move this comspolitan beachfront to Akwa-Ibom.But for that to happen we need reprisal tribal tit-tats as we have shared with the northerners so everybody understand their own frequency, this should not only quicken the destruction of Lagos and economic shift towards Akwa-Ibom but impoverish the yorubas, reduce the general standard of living throughout SW and their political bargaining power....Akiolu's words just sparked a tsunami that will be to our economic benefit in all strata,if we surf this gigantic tribal wave to the last dribble without fear but righteous anger, blood lust and the ever present igbo tenacity,we could just break up Nigeria and begin a new destiny.....Win-Win-Win situation for the igbos. So Akwa Ibom is now Igbo land? I learn something new everyday on Nairaland. Ichidodo I served in Akwa ibom state and I know for sure that you want trouble If you refer to an Annang/Ibibio man as an Igbo man. The yorubas need all other ethnic groups to survive but I tell you they can live pleasantly without any other group. |

Aribisala should know that failure of the card reader to work in the south paved the way for the PDP to rig massively, all d states where d card failed recorded higher no of accredited voters(manual/no accreditation). GEJ lost fair n square because many Nigerians are just tired of his style of governance, his failures and his PR team. Aribisala stop your bigotry. |

Now that you guys are out of work, you'd need rehabilitation and reintegration into the sane Nigerian Society. A lot of mental and psychological damages have been done to your lives.
