They say there are marketers who collect subsidy and divert and sell it to other countries at the original price, why aren't they bringing this people to book. Its generally because they are untouchable People who finance PDP and they believe the solution is to violation us the people in the Bottom and not also cut government spending. |
I support it also.i just don't trust the government to implement the infrastructural development and social amenities they claim they would put in order |
Besides everything in the uk is double the price of anything in us dollars so we are practically buying at the price we are suppose to buy it. Or op,I hope you know a 1k dollar MacBook pro is 1k pounds in the uk? |
@op,why would I count myself lucky.Do they produce crude oil.Are they a third world country.Do they lack electricity?Does an average Nigerian earn 1000 pounds to pay a typical uk house rent per month? Are there proper infrastructure put in place.Does the Uk have obvious in your face corrupt politicians as we have in Nigeria?Do we have potable water, good roads e.t.c. So,I don't count myself lucky at all brother. |
All this oyinbo we are speaking is not gonna get us anywhere. The question is not whether they should or should not remove fuel subsidy. The question is,would they actually use the money, manage the money(and not siphone the money),reduce bloated contracts, checkmate the bureaucrats who need "Eginje" from top to bottom and vice versa before awarding a contract? Thereby giving the contractor the power to inflate costs so as to make back the money he had spent during the process of bribing the government from top to bottom, thereby making the authorities powerless in probing when the Roads are not built and if they are built, they are substandard ,poor infrastructure,e.t.c. |
6 people were caught at abule egba bus-stop with explosives on them yesterday.i wonder why it is not in the news. |
Federal govt right from time have not been subsidizing anything. Its just a charade trust me. Anybody in the petrolem product industry knows this. Without subsidy, PMS shouldn't sell more than 40 Naira. Proof below: CRUDE FACTS!!! 1) One barrel of Crude oil = 42gallons or 159 litres 2) Our Refineries (i.e 4) Installed (combined) capacity = 445,000 barrels per day 3) Actual refineries capacity due to ageing equipment = 30% i.e. 133,500 barrels per day 4) 133,500 barrels = 21.2 million litres 5) Local required consumption (F.O.S) = 12millions litres 6) It means that even our MORIBOND refineries can actually meet our local consumption need of petroleum. 7) The cost structure of crude oil (i.e. Qua Iboe Crude Oil) production;- Findings / development - $3.5 - Production cost - $1.5 - Refining Cost - $12.6 - Pipeline/transportation - $1.5 - Distr/bridging fund Margin -$15.69 True cost of one litre of petroleum anywhere in Nigeria;- Total sum cost = $34.8 - 1ltr cost = $34.8/159 litres = $0.219 - Naira equiv.:$.219xN160= N35.02k - Add Tax N5 + N35.02 = N40.029) Let FGN refute the above composition and if not, they should tell us how they came about N65/litre. 10) Locally refined products cannot be sold at International price. 11) We really do not need FGN SUBSIDY as there was NONE in the first place. 12) What is LACKING, is the WILL to enforce LAW ON CORRUPTION. |
Like I said earlier,we have been forcefully f, c.ked in the a.s, s without lubricant . |
Its like f.u.cking us in the a.ss and saying, don't worry with time you would get used to it. |
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS REALLY UNDERESTIMATED US AS NIGERIANS AND ITS GENERALLY NOT THEIR FREAKING FAULT.IT IS WE THE PEOPLE AND OUR E GO BETTER MENTALITY. ![]() |
malele:You no get tv for house?or at least NTA.Its all over the freaking media. |
I don't get this argument. The same IMF as been clamouring for the removal of fuel subsidy since like forever in Nigeria. They finally see a weak leader and now is their time to finally get it removed. This is one of the reasons why i think the whole subsidy removal campaign is a white elephant project as far as i am concerned. |
Like seriously, mac book bro 13" is at least 210k why are you selling it for 450? |
Ghost Protocol was awesome. |
obinna5000:Renairatwitted. |
yay!mission impossible:ghost protocol starts showing at ozone today. |
Not to disrespect you,why can't you explain it here rather than me calling you or sendin you a mail. |
From what i can deduce. 1. Op owns a startimes decoder 2. Stve2 is know for showing maraton episodes of the telenovelas everyone was addicted to at one time or the other. 3. Op is not angry about the neglecting of house duties but the fact that, there is no "punnany" for him and the fact that,he has no cosy sex, ual time with his wife anymore. |
errrm!weren't we all naked at one time in history? |
Sometimes i wonder why people try to be professional a site like this.Even to the point where anybody who "Gbagauns" is in trouble . As far as i am concerned, trying too hard to be professional is boring. |
MRbrownJAY:I was almost thinking no one had seen that movie here.Because damn, its one hell of a movie.I have seen again twice with my friends today. |
tit:Omo i just saw the movie "warrior" and i feel like training in brazilian jujitsu ooo!its better than karate men. In truth though,i have never raised my finger on a woman and wouldn't actually. |
semid4lyfe:Seriously! Losers?better than the A-team,with the badly used 3d graphics?Like literally?Like Seriously? With our darling Coloumbiana holding a rocket launcher with her thin self as if it is paper weight?hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah! |
spikyn:The community episode about The Dark Knight theme was so hilarious.I almost had a heart attack laughing. |

True cost of one litre of petroleum anywhere in Nigeria;- Total sum cost = $34.8 - 1ltr cost = $34.8/159 litres = $0.219 - Naira equiv.:$.219xN160= N35.02k - Add Tax N5 + N35.02 = N40.02

It was interesting sha 5.5/10
