Firstly, kindly note that this issue although similar to mine has a peculiar context. A 15-day ultimatum or thereabout is usually given to submit passport. My case was still within the timeline.
Nevertheless, you can still try my approach. Firstly, search your inbox and spam folders to ascertain that the said email is not there.
Reply to the email. Tell them that you never got such mail and that you would appreciate if it is resent.
In my case, it was sent 2 days later directly into my CIC account.

I wish this get sorted ASAP.

Except you are talking about LAPO, SEAP and other microfinance that will give you 30k at exhorbitant interest rate.

Easy setup of business
You will still need to register your company and pay taxes even if your company can barely survive. Unless you are referring to roadside business.

Cheap Labor? Are you for real? Blame unemployment. My last driver was a graduate. I paid him 30k.

Tax waivers? Who pays the tax anyways? If you know someone in FIRS, you get your clearances, no sweats

Available Market? Which market? Even people still make money selling food in Syria

Agricultural loans? After being tricked to open a saving account with a bank, nothing was gotten. Only people that are ready to go through backdoors get these so-called loans.

Opportunity to invest? I laff hard when I hear this. Like it's supposed to be some luxury.

When I simulated my CRS with a perfect IELTS LSRW 8777 for myself and my wife, with two Bachelors already evaluated by CES I got a score of 434

When I simulated my CRS with a perfect IELTS LSRW 8777 for myself and my wife, with a Masters degree (Hoping WES will do the right thing) I got a score of 441.

In your opinion, is 434 good enough for EE draw? or I should try and get WES evaluation to have 441, hoping ofcourse that our IELTs will be like envisaged.

Lastly, what is the least CRS score that can guarantee a draw based on recent events?

If the person with Masters is PA, I expect your score to be higher than 441.
Or maybe there's something I'm missing.

I dont know much about computing, but in Engineering, your English (oral and written) must be excellent. You would be required to write alot of technical reports and communicate with different types of audiences. In field roles, not communicating clearly can get someone killed whether in the Oil, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering fields. In my opinion, there is no need to mimic. Speaking clearly and correctly would be okay.

I submitted on October 28,2017 after my MSc(Maths) convocation at the University of Saskatchewan. I forgot to add this: My wife submitted Spousal Open Work Permit app since July 5 and we havent heard anything. That was why I even delayed submitting the app early to see if CIC Ghana was gonna answer but upon advices from Nairaland and friends, I decided to submit the app on Saturday. She is included in the app and I did not withdraw her app since she is not the primary applicant.

You missed out one crucial information. Your wife's age. This will enable us to advise you appropriately.
However, here is a guidance.
1. Your wife's PhD and your Msc (Optional). You need only evaluate your highest qualifications.
2. PhD requires Confirmation of Doctoral Degree to be sent by institution while you send/fax the certificate to them. WES does not evaluate Microsoft/Cisco certificates.
3. It is advisable that the transcript be sent directly by the school. Certificates will be sent by you.
4. https://www.wes.org/ca/ You will get all the their postal address and other information after you register.

NB: For your ielts, both your wife and you should aim to score at least LRSW 8777. You can use this tool to determine what your CRS score would be. www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

I applied for ECA while doing WES evaluation but i cant find ECA certificate number on the report, i just saw Ref No#: can somebody who has had similar issues help.

If the ref number you see does not end with IMM then you didn't select the correct Evaluation type. You might not have specified IRCC evaluation.

If that is the case, you will need to write to them to convert your evaluation to IRCC Immigration type.

Firstly, unlike the Austrailian Immigration scheme, the Canadian express entry does not require that your qualification be related with your experience.
To answer your first question, I would say it is a grey area. It has been debated here severely. While some hold the opinion that you can combine experience from different Noc insofar your primary Noc is above 1 year, others believe it must be same noc or related noc . My humble opinion is if you will get a good score with 1 noc don't combine. But if you desperately need those points, combine. The worst that can happen is for your application to be rejected post-ITA.

I recently wrote my general ielts yesterday in the UK with the aim of applying for a visa in Australia (visa 476). I never thought I was eligible for the Canadian EE. It was at the test center that a fellow candidate enlightened me. I got home and also found more information from nairaland and phew. I did some predictions based on my expected ielts scores and discovered that I could garner between 444-456 points despite having less than 2 years experience. But I still have a few questions.

I am about to start my certificate verification. I understand that Wes is faster and that it takes them about 20 business days to complete the verification. That is about a month. Does the 20 business days include the date of delivery? The reason for my worry is that, my UK visa expires in early January and I wouldn't want to risk having my credentials delivered to an address I no longer use. And is if possible for me to tell them to deliver it to my Nigerian address.

My second concern is about the proof for fund. If I am able to have the scores I predicted above and the points used for invitation is around anything around the scores used in the recent ones (I checked that on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/past-rounds.asp ), it means I may risk receiving an ITA without having a POF yet. So I intend not to enter the pool yet even if I have everything else I need. Until I have my POF ready.

My third question is for a friend whom I'm persuading to apply. Her stance is that, her one year teaching experience during NYSC is not usually accepted in the application. She claims that secondary school teaching is not part of the skills they need. She studies biochemistry in first degree, an Biotechnology for her masters. I am of the opinion that her occupation as a biologist should suffice. But I said I would help her to as on nairaland. I am also using my NYSC experience, but my case is different. I was attached to a university.


I know I have asked a lot of questions, but please, I would appreciate your answers and advise.

Welcome to the thread.

1. You shouldn't be concerned much about the postal address to use. A softcopy will be sent to you. It's all you need for the process.

2. You will have a 90 day grace from the day your receive your ITA for you to submit your application. I believe it's enough time to tie any loose ends. Baba I pray the container of ITA fall on you . No time to check time

3. Minimum requirement is a 1-year paid employment. NYSC can be used. She would need to get a reference letter from the employer. With her Masters and age being on her side, she can still have good score with 1 year experience. Secondary school teacher noc 4031 qualifies.
NB: The occupation you choose has nothing to do with where you'll work when you land

1 - You need to show sale evidence and asset evidence. Agreement, reciept and survey/plan could be useful
2 - Nothing to say
3 - You do not need to withdraw the money from the pension account, just get a reference letter from your PFA
4 - Investment certificate
5 - Investment certificate /evidence and consent letter from your wife

It is advisable to make a tabulation of all your source of funds. This should be the first page of your POF document.

Based on some analysis on immtracker and pple's input on Canadian visa forum. It takes about 6 weeks for ur file to get transferred. Mine too 7 weeks before it was transferred to LVO. I know of someone whose file took 3 months before transfer. So you are still on course. To when when your file has been transferred, your additional documents status will change to "we do not need additional documents"

I beg to differ with your last statement. My Additional Document status still says "We are reviewing the additional documents provided"

Go to your nearest National Population Commissions office.

Here are the list of things you might need.
1. A sworn affidavit
2. Passport photographs
3. Reference letter ( They can give you a format to use right there) among other things

1. The PPR came with updated family information request. Should I fill and submit or no need. Am still single.
2. There is a form for height and eye colour chart. I think I filled black or brown during eAPR. Can I just pick anyone now jare.

1. The family information form is compulsory only if your family information has changed. You can leave it out if there has been no change.

2. You need to fill the form. I chose black as my eye colour. And please don't forget to add the PPR letter and the Height and Eye colour form to your package before sending

When filling your application post-ITA you'll be asked the statutory questions. If you affirm that you / your spouse has been denied visa, then you will be sent a schedule form A to fill or if you forgot to mention it earlier, you can raise a CSE to make the correction. A schedule form A can then be sent to you. Because schedule form A comes as ADR for most people you can fill it upfront and add to your app.

I hail oo, Pls i don't know Wetin I do Wes oo, it took them 8 good months to get my evaluation done, after lots of mail. Eventually I received a mail on 28th of April that my evaluation has been completed n I received the online evaluation cert which I used to register for EE profile, only for Wes to send me my hard-copy cert oo, up till date I never receive am. I used my office address n I don't know why it's taking forever. Pls am I good to go with only the online copy or I still need the hard copy

Online copy is sufficient. The ECA ref number on the top-right corner of the report is all you need to enter the pool.
Post-ITA you may upload the softcopy under Education checklist.

FYI, I have not received my hardcopy till now. I have PPR already.
