***Picking inspirations from PIPnator to boost self confidence thru posting trade positions in a way to learn.

1. Civic has a better fuel economy because it comes wit a displacement of 1.8 Litre (4 cylinders)
Accord comes 2.4 L (for d inline-4 models) or 3.0 L (for V6)

2. Civic is smaller and a bit more compact in space dan d Accord. U can as well compare Civic to a Corrolla, while Accord to a Camry with respect to dia sizes.

3. Both cars are durable and from the same manufacturer, Honda. However, there is a prevalent user complain about Accord's front legs breaking apart if the signs are ignored. Civic has a different suspension and leg system which does not have this concern. Civic is totally immune to this issue and most people don't know this (they think it's a general Honda problem).

4. 07 Civic and 04 Accord have a comparable Capital cost, but Operating cost is cheaper on d Civic.
Besides, a 2007 technology is more recent dan 2004.

My Verdict: Make ur decision based on ur personal requirements and what fits ur style.

Choose Civic if U don't have a problem wit a smaller-sized sedan, a decent (140hp by performace, similar to Corrolla, 406 etc) and an economic vehicle (ave. 29mpg same wit Corrolla)

But if U need a better performance (about 160-240 horsepowers), a larger sized-sedan, but not comparably so economic (ave. 22-24mpg), then go for Accord.

My personal inclination however is towards Civic. Unless I can afford Accord later than 2018 models.

I seem to be gradually falling in luv wit Swedish Engineering frm dese ur posts.

OP, I've also been wandering about d same thing for long now.

Coz I particularly admire d Subaru Impreza, which is a car excellent in performance n economic in fuel (coz they have I4 engines with turbo) and still looks decent jst like a corrola.

I think spare parts wud alwayz b cheaper wen d cars are much available in d country, which is possible wen d brand is accepted by Nigerians jst like it is with d Corrola itself.

So, d question still remains, why is d brand not accepted by Nigerians despite d cars looking compatible with Nigerian roads.
