SailorXY: Talk is cheap. England stood against the might of Hitler singlehanded before America was fully prepared to engage. You think say small body na sickness? Where did you read that crap from? England against hitler singlehandedly? Boy , it was russias added might that brought down hitler. Russians slapped the geemans on the back. They hav already arranged how the eastern bloc would be shared between germany and russia. At that time, germany is more advanced weapon-wise. After the fall of hitler, the americans' took the german rocket engineer-wernher von braun- back to the states, while russian took german rockets/missile already on ground as their own share of the spoils of the war The Empire of Japan aimed to dominate Asia and the Pacific and was already at war with the Republic of China in 1937,[5] but the world war is generally said to have begun on 1 September 1939[6] with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by France and the United Kingdom. From late 1939 to early 1941, in a series of campaigns and treaties, Germany conquered or controlled much of continental Europe, and formed the Axis alliance with Italy and Japan. Under the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact of August 1939, Germany and the Soviet Union partitioned and annexed territories of their European neighbours, Poland, Finland, Romania and the Baltic states. The war continued primarily between the European Axis powers and the coalition of the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth, with campaigns including the North Africa and East Africa campaigns, the aerial Battle of Britain, the Blitz bombing campaign, the Balkan Campaign as well as the long-running Battle of the Atlantic. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II |

Sirwallace: the Russian government can intimidate and flaunt their deadly weapons thinking other world power are doing nothing to counter whatever attack they think of doing. the US and the Briton will just pretend like an innocent child looking for an opportunity to crackdown on their enemies. furthermore, weapons, machine, supplies and allies win war. Putin can learn from Hitler offensive in France when he thought he had conquered the war with his so called german machine when supply was cut short by his enemies. When talking of powers dont even mention Uk, i know they are not push-over but then they are not force to reckon with. If they are not members of NATO Russia would finish them in no time. Noise or not russia are not in britains leaque |

shehuolayinka: Do you know US and the West are the problem of this world. The US quest for hegemony, has killed millions of people and no one is talking about it. That is why states like russia are needed to curtail their excesses. UK and france are just rubber stamps. Whatever US says stands with them Moreover ,US is the founder and no. 1 financier of NATO so their influence is easily felt |

MONITZ: Going thru ur post made me realize that u know nothing abt world politics, u don't know the lengths to which some of these leaders can go just to ve their way, the lives of 200,000 Syrians mean nothing to them provided that the flow of oil won't be interrupted which in this case is the laying of pipes from Saudi Arabia thru Syria and finally getting to Europe, this move is to whittle down Russia's main source of wealth thereby making her vulnerable, this was wat Assad prevented being an ally of Russia and that is y they re calling for his head. Connect the dots because nobody will tell u y they re so much interested in getting him out, All u will hear the MSM do is demonize Assad by saying that he is killing his people using chemical weapons blablabla while their real motive is hidden. Most of this countries are ready to eliminate an entire race for the sake and safety of their own poeple. 200,000 syrians? Heck, they had annihilate the whole of syria if allowed . Just so they can lay pipeline. That is hw ruthless they can be |

Heard of proxy war? Or detente? Most of this western/eastern allies are ready to try out their war games in any country except theirs They fight by proxy in your coun3 and kill your people while destroying your infrastructure They willnot put single booth on the ground, nor any airforce personnel (drones are there) |

someone below quoted me Kolaish That is how you people hailed Sadam Hussein, Mohammar Gadaffi etc and they were all killed cheaply like fowls. of which benefit is russia to the world? they even opposed the arab world stance on syria. Russia is not middle east. Read the history of the ''cold war'' and the ''space race''. Russia is the only country in the world that use to look into American face and tell them go F**k yourself. When wiki-leaks founder ran to russia why didnt the ameeicans go there and take him? Just becos US has the backing of nato doesnt mean russia cant stand upto them. Space Race Main article: Space Race On the nuclear weapons front, the United States and the USSR pursued nuclear rearmament and developed long-range weapons with which they could strike the territory of the other.[30] In August 1957, the Soviets successfully launched the world's first intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) and in October, launched the first Earth satellite, Sputnik. The launch of Sputnik inaugurated the Space Race. This culminated in the Apollo Moon landings, which astronaut Frank Borman later described as "just a battle in the Cold War."

Russia has a dying economy, they have nothing to loose in the event of war but America as the strongest economy in the world should not fight with the mad man called Putin. Despite that, in all-out war America will still crush Russia.. In your dreams? Dont f**k with russians The world most reliable Gun , kalashnikov, AK-47 is russian invention. They dont make as much noise as the American but they believe in results |

Call07034780891: Putin is a noisemaker..
America does not make noise but it is capable of destroying Russia like this did Japan in 1945.
Putin should be very careful.. American are the biggest noise-makers. Because they have the media for propaganda. Do you know of the ''soyuz'' spacecraft? Its the most reliable rocket ever built. Its used for transporting human and cargo to the ISS and its a russian space vehicle. The american have to retire ''space shuttle'' due to its reliability concerns. Also russian were the first to enter space and also send human (astronaut) to space before Americans follow in what became known as the ''space race''. |

Politics › We'll Place Nigerians' Welfare High - Saraki by DaudaAbu(op): 10:36am On Oct 26, 2016 |
Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, yesterday reiterated the resolve of the National Assembly to place the welfare, interest and general well-being of Nigerians on the front-burner as a way of cushioning the effects of the present economic recession and hardship.
Saraki disclosed this while presenting his speech/debate at the ongoing 135th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and related matters, in Geneva, Switzerland with the theme: ‘Human Rights Abuses as precursors of Conflict: Parliaments as Early Responders.’ He said the National Assembly would continue to support efforts by the world legislative body to check human rights abuses across the world.
Saraki, according to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanni Onogu, said it was time national governments demonstrated courage in implementing laws against human rights abuses.
''There are available laws addressing most of the human-rights related issues, the major problems are centered around non-implementation, poor oversight and lack of enforcement of these laws,” Saraki said: “We must however demonstrate courage, make sacrifices, be accountable, and stand up for the people we represent. We must speak out loudly when our laws are not obeyed and work in synergy with the other arms of government to ensure that human right violations wherever it occurs is condemned and addressed.
“The National Assembly of Nigeria will continue to be a people-centered institution, where the interest and welfare of every Nigerian is paramount. As duly elected representatives of the Nigerian people, we will continue to work closely with every stakeholder in the arduous task of building a prosperous, secured and egalitarian society, where everyone will have a sense of belonging. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/10/26/welfare-of-nigerians-paramount-to-national-assembly-says-saraki/ |

Politics › I Was Elected President To Spread Wealth, Not Poverty - GEJ by DaudaAbu(op): 7:18am On Oct 26, 2016 |
Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has, Monday, said that he was never elected as Nigeria's president to spread poverty but to generate and spread wealth.
Jonathan who spoke at the Oxford Union, with the theme ‘Fostering Youth Entrepreneurship, and succeeding US Secretary of State who spoke at the same event in May this year, said that only being entrepreneurial can completely cure poverty and not having a job or working for someone.
“I once said that I was not elected President of Nigeria to spread poverty; I was elected to generate and spread wealth.”
“My belief in this regard is that getting a job or being a worker cannot completely cure the disease of poverty. It is only your own business that can provide such security and give you the financial freedom you need to prosper.”
Dr. Jonathan, whose speech was streamed live, rhetorically queried his audience asking why some nations are rich and others remain poor.
”Why are some nations rich and some poor? Why do individuals that grow up in similar circumstances end up differently, with some as successes and others as failures?”
“Is the wealth of nations a result of geography, weather, culture, destiny, etc.? What could a leader do to effectively lift a people out of the depths of poverty and enable them to achieve prosperity?” asked Jonathan.
The former Nigerian leader talked about youth entrepreneurship programs his administration pioneered, saying that one of them, YouWIN, was a major plank of his job creation efforts.
“The motivation for this program is for young people to go into SMEs, create jobs for other young people with the expectation that some would grow to large scale businesses” Dr. Jonathan said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/elected-president-spread-wealth-not-poverty-jonathan/ |

Or people are forgetting..
Mayb they are rejecting the appointments becos money no longer flow as it use to.
Moreover, the biggest problem with the ''most educated'' is that they feel the job is beneath them or they are too big for this job, just remember that a less competent person will now be appointed and all of us will have to bear the consequence of his/her decisions.
For those that might quote me i am only talking about the NERC issue |

Cant they offer their solution with first been given a certain port folio? They have reaped from this nation at one time or the other.

I thought the judiciary, the legislature and executive and all supposed the be working together and in harmony?
Most of those in executive and legislature are changed regularly (4 or 8 yrs) only those in the judiciary largely remain. Now isnt there something wrong with that?
Why is it that everyone is ready to accuse the head of the executive when things go south yet expect them to respect the other arms when they are clearly not doing anything to support or encourage the executive arm which has the power of execution of most govt policies and directives |

If you want to be a good critic then stay away from gov't.
Dont be a supporter and a good critic when those you are in alliance with are in power and turn a bad critic when you fall out of favour.
Are you expecting the opposition to clap for you or start fighting for your cause?
Heck, the opposition dont even care about your cause.
Let him go in there and defend himself. Is he the first person to be arrested? Dasuki is still in detention remember?
All that is required of either of them is to refund the money, then they would have their freedom and fight their persecution from their homes
Ask me which money? there are records and witnesses about how much was given to them /how much they recieved |
