Int'l Anti-Corruption Day: Hon. Ayodele Thomas says Abubakar Malami is an Anti-corruption Crusader

Higher Education Leadership Policy, HELP, organisation has stated that the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, SAN, is an Anti-corruption Crusader of the Year
within six years of the Buhari administration.

The organization's Lead Advocate/Chief Executive, HELP, Hon. [Elder] Ayodele Thomas made this known to journalists in a press release Commemorating
the 2021 International Anti-corruption Day.

According to the Lead Advocate/Chief Executive, HELP, Hon. [Elder] Ayodele Thomas, "Abubakar Malami, SAN has, no doubt, won the admiration, respect
and regarded in high esteem by many concerned citizens for his anti-corruption
campaign. Appropriately in attestation to this, the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly
of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Ethiopia, not long ago,
appreciated the commitments and efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR at
addressing corrupt practices in the Nation and subsequently named him AU anti-corruption ambassador. This honour done to Mr. President was achieved because the
appointed public officials and their respective agencies entrusted and saddled with the
challenging responsibility to implement his anti-corruption policy was, indeed,
committed towards addressing the blight of corruption in the Nation.

"The Attorney General of the Federation and Hon. Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami
SAN stands out in this regard. Since his assumption of office, Malami left no stone
unturned to ensure robust momentum of capacities is built around the administration’s
anticorruption policy.

"Today, public perceptions of the Buhari administration’s fight
against corruption have improved dramatically as many Nigerians now agreed that the
administration is performing very well in fighting corruption and this is a strong
indication that the Nation’s orientation towards understanding the challenges of fighting
and addressing corrupt practices is changing for the better".

Elder Thomas, dwelling on the achievements of the Buhari led administration regards curbing Corruption in the country, said, "Nigerians have applauded the Treasury Single Account [TSA], Bank
Verification Number [BVN], National Identity Number [NIN], and ‘Whistle Blowing’
policy of the Buhari administration which has recorded tremendous achievements by
blocking several leakages. Before now, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies open
multiple accounts to siphon government resources. Since the government has imposed the
TSA, visibility funds of government, and transparency of government expenditure and
accountability has been reestablished. This is in addition towards ensuring that all
personnel in the public sector are being captured electronically thereby making it
impossible for ghost workers to be incorporated into the payroll system or structure.

"Since he assumed office, Malami has made several headlines with his hard stance on
pursuing looted or stolen funds and bringing the culprits to justice in addition to building
robust momentum of regulatory, institutional, and legal capacities around the Anti-corruption policy of the Buhari administration. It is on record that no other
administration, in the history of Nigeria, has closely worked with the US, the UK, and
various Middle Eastern countries to seize and repatriate assets from public officials that
are suspected to have been purchased with illicit funds. Nigeria’s leading anti-corruption
agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has also become more
active. It has launched a series of investigations into former high-ranking public officials
from previous administrations, in particular former cabinet officials, state governors, and
senior civil.
It is also on record that under Malami looted funds and assets have been recovered and
several high-level officials have been found culpable in one corruption case or another by anti-graft agencies. Again, one cannot also doubt the fact that under Malami the
administration brought his fight against corruption closer to home when he dealt with his
own officials without favour. The arraignment of Babachir Lawal, former secretary to the
government of the federation, and Ayo Oke, head of Nigeria’s National Intelligence
Agency fingered in the quagmire of controversy around corrupt deals detected by Nigeria’s anti-corruption body, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC]
are examples of such efforts.

"Unfortunately, upon all the above achievements and instead of celebrating the Attorney
General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), he is grossly
misunderstood and it is rather sad to note that gross misrepresentation was given to some
of the major legal accomplishments of his office. Though not intimidated, one can only
submit that Malami has faced the worst criticism anyone in Nation-building could face.

"The misrepresentation as the Malabu case, engagement of counsel in Abacha recovery
suit, P&ID Arbitration, judgment debt/Paris Club refund, and relationship with other law
enforcement and prosecutorial agencies etc could best be described as high points of the
tough criticism that has tested his will to serve his Nation meritoriously as federal
attorney general. Yet, despite the criticisms, the modest achievements of the ministry under Malami like promulgation of executive orders, multilateral treaties for anti
corruption fight such as Anti-Corruption Laws – the Money Laundering Prevention and
Prohibition Bill 2017; Anti-Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Bill 2017; Nigerian Financial Intelligence, etc are well noticeable and should be appreciated.
Though findings have revealed that the reason for recent the attacks on Malami is simply
because he is exposing corrupt elements in this government in line with the
The anti-corruption policy of the Buhari administration. Exposing corrupt elements in
the government may not be an easy task but the attendant campaign of calumny may have
been orchestrated by those involved and who see themselves as victims of the saintly
initiatives of the AGF Malami to protect the administration of President Buhari from
ridicule and shame and to ensure that Mr. President plan to enthrone free, fair, and just
society for all Nigerians is fully realized. At this point, the Media and the civil societies
deserves special commendation for their unrelenting efforts to channel necessary
attention into raising strong advocacy voices to support the aspirations of the present
administration under President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR

"Although President Buhari’s anti-corruption campaign has been quite impressive so far, it
is no cause for complacency, as citizens’ perceptions of corruption among public officials
still remain high. Most Nigerians still believe many public officials are corrupt, with the
police widely seen as the most corrupt Government institution. This Perceived corruption among public officials only reflects deep-seated realities that will require everyone’s
efforts to change; more so now that Mr. President has set the tone from the top. To this effect, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami
[SAN] should consider a “New Information Thrust for the Ministry” so as to bridge the
information gap that may have been responsible for all forms of misconception and
misrepresentations among Nigerians.

"As we commemorate the 2021 International Anti-corruption Day with the theme, “Your
right, your role: Say no to Corruption” and which seeks to highlight the rights and
responsibilities of everyone - including States, Government officials, civil servants, law enforcement officers, media representatives, the private sector, civil society, academia,
the public and youth etc in tackling corruption, it is high time for all Nigerians to join hands with the Attorney General of the Federation and Honourable Minister of
Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN to continue the good work to wrest the Nation from the
claws of those willing to plunge it into penury", he added.

Politics / Research Around The Birthing Of The State Of Birland by Daudupress: 10:45am On Dec 08, 2021
A small area also known as the Bartazoga Triangle located between Egypt and Sudan. The two countries refuse to claim the area due to the dispute over the Halayeb Triangle, as Egypt considers the 22° latitudinal line to be the border separator between Egypt with the de facto annexation of the Halayeb Triangle , while Sudan considers the Halayeb Triangle within Sudan demands it.

The area is located to the southwest of the neighboring Halayeb Triangle .

Topographical map of the area and its environs - from the US Corps of Engineers in the year 1960.

Map of Birtawil Land (Berland State)
The region represents a trapezoid whose long side is its northern border, which touches with latitude 22° N, with a length of 95 km, and its southern side is 46 km long, and its length ranges from north to south between 31 km and 26 km and its area is 2060 km 2 ; It is the only area in which the administrative line of 1902 passes south of the political boundary of 1899 contiguous with latitude 22°N. It was placed under the Egyptian administration because at that time it was pasture for a group of Ababda stationed near Aswan , while the Halayeb triangle is located north of latitude 22° north and was placed under the Sudanese administration because the inhabitants of that area at that time were an extension of groups, most of which were stationed in Sudan. The area of the Tawil Well is one tenth of the area of the Halayeb Triangle, and it is an interior land, and the two

LTriangle, and it is an interior land, and the two regions touch at one point.

To the north of the region is a tall mountain 21°57′56″N 33°48′05″E, which has a height of 459 meters, to its east Jabal Hajar al-Zarqa and a height of 662 meters, and to its south is a long valley (also known as Khor Abu Bard ). The locality in the area indicates a permanent military presence in the area, and the Bedouins in the area tell of underground equipment dating back to 1987.

Egypt claims the political borders of 1899, contiguous with 22°N latitude, which places the Halayeb Triangle within the Egyptian borders and Bir Tawil within the Sudanese borders, while Sudan demands the Administrative Border Agreement of 1902, which places the Halayeb Triangle within the Sudanese borders and Bir Tawil within the Egyptian borders. As a result of this, both countries claim Halayeb, while neither of them claims a long well, and there is no basis in international law on which either of the two countries can claim both areas at the same time, making this area the only one that is not claimed by any country in the world. the world, ie , what is known as idiomatically land nullius ( in Latin terra nullius), except the land of Mary cold in AntarcticaIt is difficult - if not impossible - for any other country to claim sovereignty over the region because it is sandwiched between Egypt and Sudan. It is common knowledge that the area is de facto under the control of the Egyptian administration, although it is not considered Egyptian territory in government maps, and it prevents access.

Tectonics:

Geologically, the region on the tectonic land of Egypt and Sudan coming from no limit to the destructive effects of tectonic acceptance and Bir-Tawil tectonic acceptance can not be seen for the duration of the above-mentioned lands, even in terms of the frontier lands seen. However, in terms of tectonic diversity, it can be one of the geotourism in the world and the generation of income for this soil without its owner, and from its place towards the revival and introduction of tourism. It is unlikely in a similar study in other lands on this planet Earth, that there is likely to be an important mine, even copper and gold mines. In terms of structure, it has 3 tectonic zones, namely, from west to east of the plain, the slope and the mountains. The depth of the deepest valley reaches a height of 120 meters, and its maximum height is 579 meters in the eastern half of the earth.

A trapezoidal area is 94 km long, 47 km south, 26.7 km east, and 50 km west. It is interesting to note that in the eastern half of the eastern half of the country's largest seasonal rivers and during the river trees line the river remains, but in small numbers at intervals between 14 and 300 meters from both the life expectancy and life seen in this area.

The density of trees decreases along the river from north to south and the density of trees is highest in the north of the river, and many faults have been active in the area in the area that have changed tectonics and created break lines. Undoubtedly, the eastern half of the Long Range has an animal habitat, but the semi-western part, due to its tangible capacity, is nothing but the habitat of reptiles, or ultimately passing birds. Politics / The Kingdom Of Atlantis's Profile by Daudupress: 11:24pm On Nov 01, 2021
The Kingdom of Atlantis was officially launched on the 01st of January 2021 by H.E.
Chairman Michael Puzzolante, an Italian Citizen who has spent 33 years of his Life
studying and Practicing the subject of Metaphysics along with his professional career as
Property Developer, Architect, Designer, Engineer, and Management Consultant. For
several years, H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante has been searching for a solution to the
rapid degradation of this society. His knowledge in Metaphysics, which includes the
subjects of Philosophy, Human Sciences, History, Theology, and Psychoanalysis, has been
of great help in his decision to establish The Kingdom of Atlantis for the Purpose of
stopping the fast degradation of this Society and to create an Advanced Civilization here on
Planet Earth.

The Kingdom of Atlantis follows a Constitution which promotes the proper education of
all Human Beings on Planet Earth via the study and practice of The Atlantean Metaphysics
and Sustainable Development Education Program, a Program that has been designed by
H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante for the purpose of increasing the level of Awareness
and Consciousness of any Human Being. After 33 years of study and practice of
Metaphysics, H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante has acquired the certainty that lack of
Proper Education is the sole cause of the degradation of this Civilization.
The Constitution of The Kingdom of Atlantis is implemented by a Decentralized
government composed of a Chairman of the Board of Governors and several Ministers,
Deputy Ministers, Secretaries, and Officers all organized around a Government
Organizational Structure.

The Sole Purpose of the Decentralized Government is to
establish Smart City-States Worldwide that will accommodate Atlantean Citizens in a
a stress-free and peaceful environment where they will be able to prosper and flourish and
reach Higher Levels of Awareness and Consciousness with the study and practice of the
Atlantean Education Program.

The Kingdom of Atlantis is following The Montevideo Convention on the Rights and
Duties of States - Article 1, which mentions that a Sovereign Nation must have the following
attributes in order to exist:
a. A permanent population;
b. A defined territory;
c. A government; and
d. The capacity to enter into relations with the other states.

The Kingdom of Atlantis is engaged in the selection of 10,000 Atlantean Citizen
Nominees, the selection of Sovereign Territories in the Solomon Islands, the Maldives and
other countries, the establishment of an operational Decentralized Government and the
development of Diplomatic and Trade Relations with other Sovereign Nations.

H.E. Dr. Michael Puzzolante, Chairman of the Board of Governors of The Kingdom of
Atlantis, has accumulated more than 33 years’ experience in the field of Metaphysics,
Management and Property Development at International Level. In January 2021, H.E.
Chairman Michael Puzzolante created a New Body of Knowledge, namely The Atlantean
Metaphysics, based on his 33 years of daily study and practice of Metaphysics. The
Atlantean Metaphysics precisely describes Consciousness, the Mind, the Physical Reality
and the Supreme Being and is meant to increase the Awareness and Consciousness Level
of an individual. The purpose of The Kingdom of Atlantis is to positively change this World
by properly educating its Citizens and Humanity at Large with the Atlantean Metaphysics
first so that Human Beings can efficiently implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
in their Life and the World.

Therefore, the main activity of The Kingdom of Atlantis
consists of Properly Educating Human Beings via the Atlantean Education Program

The Constitution of The Kingdom of Atlantis integrates by Design The Atlantean
Metaphysics created by H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante and the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals issued by the United Nations in 2015, a Constitutional Monarchy Model
that has never existed before on Planet Earth. The Kingdom of Atlantis is the first
Sovereign Kingdom on Planet Earth that will fully implement the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals in all its Smart City-States. The purpose of The Atlantean Metaphysics
is to increase the Consciousness and Awareness level of each Atlantean Citizens so that
they fully understand the importance of implementing the 17 Sustainable Development
Goals in their daily life. In order to achieve this Goal, each Atlantean Citizen will go through
the Atlantean Education Program, which is composed of a Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate
in Atlantean Metaphysics and Sustainable Development.

The Government Organizational Structure of The Kingdom of Atlantis is a Chart that
shows what Functions are done in the Organization, the Order they are done in, and Who is
Responsible for getting them done. The Government Organizational Structure shows the
pattern of organizing to obtain the Sustainable Final Product of The Kingdom of Atlantis
which is: “An Atlantean Citizen who has reached Higher Levels of Awareness and
Consciousness in order to apply the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in his life
and in the society at large”. After successfully completing the Atlantean Education
Program, the Atlantean Citizen will be allowed to incorporate a company, acquire a license
to operate or lease lands for development in the Smart City Sates of The Kingdom of
Atlantis.

The Kingdom of Atlantis shall be 100% Tax Exempt in order to attract a
multitude of Atlantean Citizens that will participate in the development of a multitude of
Smart City-States Worldwide. Therefore, the Income of The Kingdom of Atlantis will be
generated by the issuance of Citizenships, delivery of Education, the Incorporation of
Businesses, the Acquisition of Licenses to the Leasing of lands. The Government
Organizational Structure of The Kingdom of Atlantis is composed of The Chairman of
the Board of Governors, The Prime Minister, State Ministers, Ministers, Deputy Ministers,
Secretaries and Officers.

All of them are involved in producing the Sustainable Final
Product of The Kingdom of Atlantis

The Atlantean Metaphysics is composed of 8 Levels and each Level is meant to
progressively increase the Awareness and Consciousness level of an individual. The State
of Conscious Creator is the end result of the study and practice of The Atlantean
Metaphysics. An individual who has reached The State of Conscious Creator is defined
as: "An individual who is fully Aware about his Immortality and Eternity as a Spiritual
Being, who is fully aware that he is Creating his own Reality by means of his
Thoughts and who is fully aware that he is a manifestation of the Supreme Being in
human form.” H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante is convinced that Higher Level of
Awareness and Consciousness can be reached with The Advanced Metaphysics. The main purpose of The Advanced Metaphysics is to deprogram Consciousness and
reprogram it with true data. The result of this deprogramming and reprogramming is a
Human Being who is now Conscious and Aware of the Reality he is creating with his Mind
and Thoughts. He would naturally reinforce Positive Thoughts and reject Negative ones.

This New Mental Attitude would drastically change the Life of the individual for the better.
Therefore, a multitude of individuals only thinking Positive Thoughts would inevitably create
an Advanced Civilization compared to the actual one who is based on Terror and Fear and
Destruction.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are part of a Plan of Action for People, Planet
and Prosperity. This Plan of Action also seeks to strengthen Universal Peace and larger
Freedom. The Kingdom of Atlantis recognizes that eradicating poverty in all its forms and
dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest Global Challenge and an
indispensable requirement for Sustainable Development. The Kingdom of Atlantis
commits to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in all its Smart City States
and to Properly Educate all the Atlantean Citizens. The Kingdom of Atlantis is resolved to
free the Human Race from the Tyranny of lack of Education and Poverty and wants and to
Heal and Secure our Planet. The Kingdom of Atlantis is determined to take the bold and
transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the World onto a Sustainable and
Resilient path. The Kingdom of Atlantis pledges that no one will be left behind on Planet
Earth. The implementation of The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the 169
targets in all its Smart City-States Worldwide demonstrates the Scale and Ambition of The
Kingdom of Atlantis. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals seek to realize the
Human rights of all and to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and
girls. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are integrated and indivisible and balance
the three Pillars of Sustainable Development: the Economical, the Social and the
Environmental

The Kingdom of Atlantis Digital Gold Currency (KOA GOLD) is a Redeemable 100%
Gold Backed Digital Currency. The KOA GOLD is the Official Currency of The Kingdom of
Atlantis and is exclusively reserved for the Atlantean Citizens living in the Smart City
States of The Kingdom of Atlantis. H.E. Chairman Michael Puzzolante believes that all
F.I.A.T. Currencies will eventually collapse as they are backed by “Thin Air” and thus, have
absolutely Zero Economic Value. GOLD and SILVER are the Real Money. They have been
used on Planet Earth for the past 5,000 years as a means of Exchange. In 1971, the F.I.A.T.
Currencies were introduced as a “Solution” to the lack of GOLD and SILVER to properly
back the “Money” in circulation. Today we can see the disastrous results of this decision
and we are at the edge of a Total Economic Collapse. The Central Bank of The Kingdom
of Atlantis, which is a Private Entity separate from The Kingdom of Atlantis, will store
GOLD and SILVER in large quantities to back up the KOA GOLD, which will be managed
by a Quantum Computing System. The Kingdom of Atlantis Bank will have offices in
each Smart City State for the Atlantean Citizens to benefit from all types of
Banking Services.

Politics / Anambra: Dr. Raymond Edoh Cautions Youths Not To Make Selves Available For Elect by Daudupress: 11:00pm On Oct 26, 2021
Anambra: Dr. Raymond Edoh cautions Youths not to make selves available for electoral violence

The Nigerian Youth Ambassador to the United States and Secretary-General, Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, Dr. Raymond Edoh has called on Nigerian youths particularly the Anambra youth to portray their civic as well as exercise their legitimate franchise role by not availing themselves to any kind of electoral violence during and after the electoral exercise.

Dr. Raymond Edoh also appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to trend with caution while discharging her electoral incumbent so that the decision of the masses is not frustrated.

Dr. Edoh made the call on Monday in a press release signed and made available to a cluster of journalists by his media aide, Emmanuel Daudu, in Abuja.

According to the Nigerian Youth Ambassador to the United States, he pointed out that the youths have essential role to play in the success of the election, urging them to abstain from political thuggery, ballot snatching, political terrorism, avoid being used as an instrument for vote buying and harassment.

Earlier, Dr. Raymond has expressed optimism and affirmed faith in the Anambra youths after a series of engagements with youth leaders in the state in a bid to ensure the peaceful conduct of elections.

He also lauded the entirety of Eastern youth for their patience, endurance and hope for a better Nigeria, elucidating that there is always joy at the end of every tunnel.
"I sincerely want to thank the Eastern youths of Nigeria. They have proven and shown their unreserved quest for a better Nigeria. But one thing is sure, we will all have a cause to celebrate at the end of the tunnel. Please, I am pleading with you all, to continue keeping faith in the Nigerian Project, all gonna be fine again, I assure us all", he added.

Reacting to the number of police personnel allocated for the election, "36,000 to be deployed in the Anambra election, this is a huge number to be engaged for an election as their presence alone will create tension which is already high. In a survey recently conducted by CLEEN Foundation, more than half of the respondents (56%) agreed and 34% strongly agreed that aggressive and excessive use of force by the security forces on the civilians could cause electoral violence. Similarly, over half of the respondents (51%) agreed and 24% strongly agreed that inadequate or excessive presence of security agents could cause electoral violence. The survey reveals that lack of synergy between INEC and the security agencies in the country can compromise peaceful conduct of election in Anambra State. These findings underscore the role of professionalism on the part of security agents in the prospect of peaceful elections.

"Instructions to the personnel are key and their professional conduct on election duty.

"Following best standard practice, such huge numbers are not needed to policing an election. If only the officers will adhere to rules as the issue is more of attitudinal and behavioural, as what will come to play will be more of intimidation.
The security personnel are expected to do what is right as observed during some recent elections conducted in Nigeria. Their professional conduct contributes to the overall success of the election.

"Rule of engagement that will be carried out matters, is it driven by the application of FORCE or BEST PRACTICES IN POLICING ELECTIONS. what does code of conduct mean to them especially in a volatile setting like Anambra state?

"It is also important that they do not get influenced by what they see as money, definitely it will be placed in view and this brings us to the issue of welfare packages to avoid exposing the personnel in the hand of these politicians.

"Inter-agency coordination and collaboration are crucial for improved service delivery.
"There is need for the security agencies to come together and compare notes for proper deployment of the personnel ahead of the election", he said.

Dr. Raymond also stressed the need to intensify surveillance patrols and interdiction operations in high-crime hot spots to deter drug and weapons dealings in the state.

"The Nigerian Police Force should implement robust and 'right-sized deployment of operatives across the 21 LGAs to ensure adequate security provisioning before, during and after the election.
Publicise non-classified aspects of security arrangements for the election to boost the confidence of the people to come out and vote.

"Ensure that the allowances of security personnel on election duties are adequately provided for and paid fully as and when due.
Develop a robust strategy for rapid deployment of the military to flashpoints of violence, to be activated only when and where there are serious security breaches that overwhelm the capacity of the police".

He urged for Collaboration between the police force and INEC to diligently prosecute all those arrested if any, for violating the provisions of the Electoral Act, including vote-buying, as it would help discourage electoral malpractice.

"Expand capacity building for personnel on critical subjects such as election security, human rights observance, and evidence preservation. Sustain and deepen inter-agency collaboration in the area of drug interdiction, anti-cultism operations, and mopping up of small arms and light weapons", he added.

Foreign Affairs / Venezuela: 847 Csos Urges USA To Lift Undue Ban On Venezuela by Daudupress: 2:23pm On Oct 25, 2021
Venezuela: 847 civil society organizations, social and popular movements urges USA to lift undue ban on Venezuela

By Emmanuel Daudu

About Eight hundred and forty -Seven (847) civil society organizations, social and popular movements has made a joint appeal to request the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet and the UN Special
Rapporteur on the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on the enjoyment of human
rights, Alena Douhan, to formally request the Government of the United States of America (USA)
to unconditionally lift the unilateral coercive measures it has been developing against the country, Venezuela.

The undersigned civil society organizations, social and popular movements, made this joint
appeal to request the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet and the UN Special
Rapporteur on the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on the enjoyment of human
rights, Alena Douhan, to formally request the Government of the United States of America (USA)
to unconditionally lift the unilateral coercive measures it has been developing against the country.

According to a statement shared to a cluster of Nigeria journalists disclosed that since 2014, the Government of the United States has been applying a large number of unilateral
coercive measures against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which arbitrarily and unilaterally produce legal effects and international responsibility on the part of those who apply them, and
constitute a crime against humanity since they hinder access to goods and services necessary for
the social development of the Venezuelan people, in addition to violating international law and the
principle of self-determination of the people.

It was further gathered by Africa Security Investigation News that
during the last few years, the US regime and the European Union have increased their aggression
against Venezuela, compromising the Venezuelan State’s capacity to respond to the difficulties derived from the global health emergency represented by the COVID-19 virus, making it difficult for
State institutions to take any initiative to buy the required vaccines, preventing them from accessing
their own resources deposited in international private banks.

It was also revealed that the main objective of the U.S. financial blockade has been to deny or prevent Venezuela’s access to medicines, food, fuel, services, essential infrastructure, etc. in order to provoke a health crisis.

The organizations in it's statement stressed on their worries that blocking a country financially constitutes a Crime against Humanity according to the definition given
by the Rome Statute, in its article 7. Recently, President Joe Biden, has indicated that he reserves the sanctions of the era of his predecessor, Donald Trump, as an option to keep the Venezuelan
government at the negotiating table.

"Such conditioning is illegal, illegitimate, immoral, and criminal, given that it has been sufficiently evidenced by the United Nations bodies and rapporteurships that such unilateral coercive measures
“constitute a violation of international law”, denying the sovereign equality of States, constituting an intervention in the internal affairs of Venezuela. In this regard, Resolution 2625 of the UN General Assembly –of October 24, 1970– reaffirms the sovereign equality of States, the self-determination of peoples and the obligation of every State not to intervene in matters outside its internal jurisdiction, establishing that:
“...no State may use or encourage the use of economic, political or any other type of measures to coerce another State in order to obtain from it the subordination of the exercise of its sovereign rights and to obtain advantages from any other State. Every State has the inalienable right to choose its political, economic, social and cultural system without interference in any form by any other State”.
In sum, the implementation of the UCM has implied a de facto blockade against Venezuela, which violates the human rights obligations of the countries that impose them, and which has had the purpose of attacking the Venezuelan economy in order to increase the pressure on the country, making
it difficult for the Venezuelan State to carry out its international responsibilities in the area of social rights, in particular the policies of food, health, life, education and development –aggravated by the context of the COVID-19 pandemic– and as a result of the blockade, the State’s income has since contracted by 99% and the country is currently living on 1% of its income".

"Finally, we note that in the Report made by the Rapporteur on her visit to Venezuela, the High Commissioner reminded all parties of their obligation under the Charter of the United Nations to observe the principles and norms of international law, including the principles of sovereign equality, political independence, non-intervention in the internal affairs of States and the peaceful settlement of international disputes. The Special Rapporteur urges them to resolve any disputes through judicial and other competent international institutions.

Africa Security Investigation News, gathered that in support of the appeal, the concerned organisations are from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Politics / Again, Lagos #ENDSARS Protest: Dr. Raymond Edoh Urges Youth On Peaceful Protest by Daudupress: 7:33am On Oct 20, 2021
The Nigerian Youth Ambassador to the United States and National Secretary, Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, Dr. Raymond Edoh has called on Nigerian youth especially those resident in Lagos to be aware of the don'ts and does in staging and actively partaking in a protest exercise as stated in the Nigerian Constitution.

Dr. Raymond Edoh found it necessary to make the call following the arranged protest by Nigerian youths in Lagos scheduled to hold on the 20th October 2021.

The Youth Ambassador who made the call in a press release signed by his media aide, Emmanuel Daudu, and made available to journalists across the country stressed on the need for a peaceful protest.

According to the release, the Nigerian youth leader Dr. Raymond Edoh applauded the youths for their drive for good governance and the level of their youthful and well-coordinated unity in enhancing massive dividends of democracy.

"The youths are only showing concern about the country that is their own. Fine and good, but it should be noted that they are not fighting the seating government, they are not against anyone. They are simply asking for better governance. Be that as it may, I also urge the youths not to destroy government facilities. The protest should be as peaceful as possible by all means. Youths should only stick to the streets and not go close to government properties or against lives. It should be peaceful and carefully carried out, I repeat. The implication of doing the negative would definitely affect us eventually when they hand over power to us. This means we would be handed over a collapsed economy, and dilapidated government properties by virtue of our today negligence, which shouldn't be so. In whatever we do, the present leaders are our fathers, they wouldn't remain in power continuously, no, they wouldn't. Assuredly they would be relinquishing power to us some days. So, I admonish us to be extraordinarily careful so that we don't do what we shouldn't have done there by metamorphosing to regret in the nearest future.

"More also, there is need for we the youths to be conscious of our activities toward the government. We would soon take over the affairs of government, as such we should employ other ways of getting government look into our plights Instead of protest/destructions of properties leading to loss of lives so that we don't reap what we are sowing today", he added.
